More than half a million people are shareholders in the Green Bay Packers — and the team’s former quarterback Aaron Rodgers is taking a similar fan-owned approach with his internet startup, the Online Sports Database, which seeks to build a community by crowdsourcing $1.25 million in bridge funding.
Rodgers and actor Ryan Rottman launched Osdb in 2021 after chatting about the gap in the marketplace at Casa Vega in Sherman Oaks. Rottman had wondered why there wasn’t a sports equivalent of IMDb, so he asked Rogers what he thought of the idea.
“We went to dinner one night, and I just said, ‘As an athlete, is this something you think you would utilize? Like, do you think it would help you? Do you think people would care?'” Rottman recalls. He remembers Rogers asking if he’d told anyone else about his idea. “I said, ‘A couple buddies.’ And he said,...

What will you be watching this Thanksgiving?
Why not dive headfirst into Christmas?
There's another Hallmark movie celebrating family that appears to be delightful.
One of the best things about entertainment is how you can explore different cultures, and My Southern Family Christmas takes us down to the Bayou for a very special celebration.
Jaicy Elliot and Ryan Rottman star alongside Brian McNamara, Moira Kelly, and Bruce Campbell (in a Hallmark movie?!).
Under the guise of a journalist writing a story about a tight-knit community that makes Christmas special, Campbell (Elliot) has a chance to get to know her biological father, Everett (Campbell), for the first time – without him ever knowing who she really is.
As she spends time with him and his family, as well as Jackson (Rottman), the town’s record keeper, she realizes that families are messy, wonderful things.

Of the split, an insider told Us Weekly, "It happened awhile ago. They are at different points in their life and both had been traveling. They've both moved on."
"Ryan is working on Happyland with MTV and Victoria just finished another show [Eye Candy] for MTV, so they're still on the same network. They are both seeing other people now."
Victoria and Pierson weren’t shy about showing their affection while out at the recent Beyonce Knowles gig in Los Angeles. "Their Pda was on a different level throughout the concert. They were super affectionate and open about it. Her arms were around him most of the night,...

It follows the misadventures at a popular theme park and with its staff. Directed by Lee Toland Krieger, the pilot starred Bianca Santos, Zulay Henao, Shane Harper, Katherine McNamara, Cameron Moulene, Brady Smith and Ryan Rottman. Exclusive: MTV has picked up both of its comedy pilots, Happyland and Faking It, to series with eight-episode orders. These were the first MTV scripted pilots greenlighted by the network’s new regime of president Susanne Daniels and and head of scripted Mina Lefevre. Happyland, written by Ben Epstein and executive produced by Storyline’s Neil Meron and Craig Zadan, is described as a soapy teen comedy which explores the underbelly of one of the country’s most popular theme parks and those who work there. The pilot, directed by Lee Toland Krieger, starred Bianca Santos, Zulay Henao, Shane Harper, Katherine McNamara, Cameron Moulene, Brady Smith and Ryan Rottman. Faking It, from 10 Things I Hate About You developer Carter Covington, revolves around two best friends who will do almost anything to fit in and be popular in high school — including pretending to be something they are not. The midseason finale introduced the strongest potential suspect yet — and by ‘introduced,’ I mean the murderer was right under the twins’ noses all along!
Just when I thought I had The Lying Game all figured out, the March 12 spring finale proved there’s no telling what’s going to happen next in Phoenix. Though we still don’t have a definitive answer about who killed Derek and Theresa, a surprising — and seemingly guilty — party emerged as a new suspect this week. Are you ready? It’s kind of a doozy…
Don’t say I didn’t warn you…
It’s Thayer (Christian Alexander)! Yes, shortly after Emma (Alexandra Chando) stomped on his heart — I’ll get to that later, I promise — he pulled a crowbar out of his couch and wreaked havoc on his bedroom, ending the episode looking at a shattered picture of Emma.
Is that the same crowbar he used to kill Derek?...

Plus, the police find a body! Who killed Theresa?
Does Rebecca (Charisma Carpenter) have any allies left? Because after watching the March 5 episode of The Lying Game, I’m thinking she might finally be all alone in her plans to win back Ted (Andy Buckley). Not only did Sutton (Alexandra Chando) officially move over to the side of good, but Thayer (Christian Alexander) also stopped accusing his dad — for once — and considered that Becky might actually be behind Derek and Theresa’s deaths. And we all know there’s no tougher nut to crack than Thayer.
Even Jordan (Ryan Rottman) is now in on the twins’ secret, thanks to Mads (Alice Greczyn) deciding her step-brother could be a good asset — and not just a good ass. Thus the Lying Gang was born!

As Rebecca’s lies get more twisted, the wicked wife is quickly losing allies! Is she about to crack?
Dan and Theresa’s wedding went off without a hitch on the Feb. 26 episode of The Lying Game — and by that, I mean absolutely no one got hitched. The bride remained M.I.A., and a full-scale investigation was launched; but the most shocking discovery was the one Emma (Alexandra Chando) made about her dad. In the episode’s final moments, Emma confronted Ted (Andy Buckley) at the grave where Theresa went missing, and she was holding the hospital I.D. card he left behind!
In what could be considered an equally surprising turn of events, Sutton came clean to Emma about her dealings with Rebecca (Charisma Carpenter) — and I mean all of her dealings. So for the first time since the pilot, the twins are finally on the same page.

It was kiss-and-tell week on ‘The Lying Game,’ and pretty soon there won’t be any couples left!
Has Rebecca’s (Charisma Carpenter) wicked little plan finally come to fruition? The Feb. 19 episode of The Lying Game marked the official demise of the Mercers’ marriage after Alec (Adrian Pasdar) was caught kissing Kristen (Helen Slater) at the club — which, of course, Rebecca couldn’t wait to bring to Ted’s (Andy Buckley) attention. And in other unsurprising news, it wasn’t long before Ted and Rebecca found themselves in a little lip lock of their own!
Meanwhile, Emma (Alexandra Chando) continued to wrestle with her feelings for Thayer (Christian Alexander); though not quite as much as Thayer, who literally wrestled with Ethan (Blair Redford) over Emma. And just to make matters even more complicated, Laurel (Allie Gonino) told Ethan that Emma still has feelings for him, and suggested that he go after her.

Watch Sutton challenge her mom in this preview clip from Tuesday’s all-new episode!
Is Sutton (Alexandra Chando) starting to have doubts about Rebecca (Charisma Carpenter)? In this sneak-peek clip from the Feb. 19 episode of The Lying Game — obtained exclusively by HollywoodLife.com — Sutton questions whether or not mommy dearest is hiding something from her, and things get very awkward very quickly.
Here’s a word-for-word rundown of their uncomfortable exchange:
Sutton: I think they maybe know something about you that I don’t.
Rebecca: What are you suggesting?
Sutton: I don’t know. I mean, you play all these games with everyone else; how do I know you’re not keeping things from me?
Rebecca:You’re not everyone else, you’re my daughter. I would never lie to you, and I’d hope you’d never keep anything from me.
Sutton: Never!
Rebecca:Good, because we are so close to fulfilling our plan.

With Laurel (Allie Gonino) finally in on the big secret, Emma (Alexandra Chando) and the boys plotted to expose Sutton and Rebecca (Charisma Carpenter) on the Feb. 12 episode of The Lying Game. Their plan went down at the flip-side formal, and just to make things extra complicated, Ethan (Blair Redford) took Emma as his date instead of Sutton! Let the madness begin.
Thayer (Christian Alexander) was able to stall Sutton by hijacking her limo, but apparently all those muscles are just for show, because she had him on the ground in no time — and not in a good way. Jordan (Ryan Rottman) also pulled some shenanigans of his own, taking Laurel to the formal as a “cover” for really wanting to be there with Mads (Alice Greczyn).

But will Laurel help Emma take down Sutton & Rebecca, or will she reject her for lying for so long?
Rebecca (Charisma Carpenter) and Sutton (Alexandra Chando) have done a pretty good job of keeping their secrets to themselves — until tonight, that is. Not only did Emma learn the truth about her paternity on the Feb. 5 episode of The Lying Game, but her discovery inspired a game-changing confession that brought Laurel (Allie Gonino) into the fold. In a nutshell, this show just got even more complicated.
Still in Los Angeles, Emma and Thayer (Christian Alexander) managed to figure out that not only is Rebecca the twins’ birth mother, but that she and Sutton have been working together. Desperate to find out what their plan was, the pair rushed back to Scottsdale, only to find an even bigger mess than they expected.

Plus, which ‘lucky’ girl will Jordan finally settle on: Mads? Laurel? Both? Read on for the answer!
Jordan may spend most of his time hooking up with girls in pools on The Lying Game this season, but Ryan Rottman assures HollywoodLife.com that his character is more than just a motorcycle-riding bad boy with flawless helmet hair. “He does have skeletons,” Ryan tells me. “And they’re definitely going to come out.”
Read on for my full Q&A with Jordan:
Let’s be honest, this show is insanely complicated? Did you play catch-up before you joined?
“When I first found out I got the part, I watched all 22 episodes in three days. It was funny because when I got there, I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is crazy! Thayer and Emma?!’ It was cool, because it made me become a fan.”
Speaking of hookups, should we expect more from Jordan and Mads?...

Plus, a major twist in Alec’s murder investigation leaves everyone scared for the future.
After a night of uninhibited passion, Ethan (Blair Redford) told Sutton (Alexandra Chando) those magical words every girl dreams of hearing from the guy she loves: “Sorry, this was a mistake. It’ll never happen again.” Oh, Ethan — you’re such a romantic! Of course, this is The Lying Game we’re talking about, so there were plenty more awkward moments to come.
In fact, let’s run down all the uncomfortable interactions from the Jan. 22 episode, shall we?
1. Laurel (Allie Gonino) invited Mads (Alice Greczyn) to tag along on her date with Jordan (Ryan Rottman), unaware that the step-siblings slept together on the season premiere.
2. Emma agreed to tutor Ethan, unaware he’d just slept with Sutton the night before.
3. Thayer (Christian Alexander) walked in on Ethan hugging Emma.

Plus, is Alec really innocent after all? This is madness.
The twins’ love lives got even more complicated on the Jan. 15 episode of The Lying Game, as Emma (Alexandra Chando) gave Sutton her blessing to pursue Ethan (Blair Redford). Like she really needed it. Meanwhile, Emma finally gave into her feelings for Thayer (Christian Alexander), which sent Ethan into a jealous/drunken stupor — and straight into Sutton’s bed.
Mads (Alice Greczyn) paid a visit to Alec (Adrian Pasdar) in prison, and somehow he was able to convince her he was merely “holding” the tire iron in the infamous photo, rather than using it to kill Derek. Even crazier, he might be telling the truth! Tyler and Theresa tracked down the woman who planted the tire iron in Alec’s bag, though she has no idea who paid her. Oh well.

Ten months or ten days? The season two premiere of The Lying Game "The Revengers" picked up almost where it left off despite the super long hiatus.
Shortly after what was an Unholy Matrimony in which Alec was arrested for murder just moments after he said his vows to Rebecca, we resume to attend Alec's arraignment. So did he make bail?
That would be a big fat "yeah right!" Nevermind the fact that Alec was found with the murder weapon in his golf bag, we later saw that Rebecca may have bribed the judge in order to secure that he didn't get an option for release. This week, Ology.com’s New TV Preview Week is celebrating our favorite (and least favorite) spring premieres by doing what we do best: watching them in advance and letting you know if they’re worth your time. Start here: spoiling is good for you.
There's something about ABC Family's The Lying Game that makes you stick around. Not because it's a fast-paced series with endless surprises that are hard to track down. In actuality, it's quite the opposite. It makes you want more because it goes by so slow and the plot twists are so obvious that you just want those certain characters to know about the lies they haven't caught on to yet. That is, until you are shocked at the end of each episode with yet another layer to the script, making you wanted to check out the following week's episode even more.
Confused? So are we.

According to the report, the troubled "Zoey 101" actor was at Cloud 9, a hookah lounge he co-owns in Port St. Lucie, when his night was intercepted by authorities, at around 3 A.M. Underwood is currently in custody at Port St. Lucie jail.
In July, Underwood had struck a deal with prosecutors over his April arrest that allowed the actor to plead no contest to the charges in exchange for a 12-month probation and substance abuse evaluation.
Underwood isn't the first Nickelodeon star to have had trouble with the law, of course. Over the past year, Amanda Bynes' vehicular accidents have been well-documented by the tabloids,...

On September 16, just hours after 26-year-old actress Amanda Bynes was stopped by police and cited for driving on a suspended license (her 6th incident of reckless driving in five months), fellow former child-star-turned-road-menace Lindsay Lohan decided she’d seen enough.
“Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had No punishment(s) so far?” Lohan complained to her 4.3 million fans via Twitter.
Bynes and Lohan are products of the two largest child-star factories in America. Bynes made her name on Nickelodeon, getting her start on the variety show "All That," eventually earning top billing on her own series, "The Amanda Show," which ran from 1999 to 2002. Lohan is a Disney creation, with film credits ranging from 1998’s "The Parent Trap" to 2005’s "Herbie: Fully Reloaded."
By now, however, both actresses are better known for their run-ins with the law. Lohan has faced a range of charges over the years,...
