Like many people around the world, the royals have a number of traditions on Christmas Day. One begins with the whole family walking to the morning service on the Sandringham estate and greeting well-wishers as they leave the church.
The last few years fans have been delighted to see Prince William and the Princess of Wales’ (formerly known as Kate Middleton) children join them for the walk. In 2023, a lesser-known member of the family walked to and from the church with the Waleses but didn’t receive much attention from the crowd when they started to greet everyone. Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and their mother noticed that and what they did next warmed hearts and has gone viral.

When it comes to “son-in-law mother-in-law” bond, Princess Anne and Mike Tindall pretty much have it down to chemistry.
But did you know Mike turned down this strange Princess Anne request before leading her daughter down the aisle? It’s drama all right.
Mike Tindall Turned Down Princess Anne’s Well-meaning Suggestion
No doubt Princess Anne was incredibly proud when she learned her daughter snagged a then-rugby champion.
Not just speaking about his achievements, his bond with Zara’s family has been one for the books – we all know the Waleses and the Tindalls are as thick as thieves, so much so royal watchers have opted to call Mike William”s second brother.
His bond with his mother-in-law still is even more beautiful. But she did make one strange request before he married Zara that he straight-out turned down.

Kate Middleton and Prince William are focusing on family time after the former’s cancer diagnosis announcement. One thing they’re not doing, per a commentator, is discussing it with Prince George, Prince Louis, and Princess Charlotte. The Prince and Princess of Wales have likely “blank[ed] out” talk of Kate’s diagnosis with their children.
William and Kate aren’t talking about cancer at Anmer Hall with George, Charlotte, and Louis
While the kids are on a break from school, William, Kate and their three children are on a little getaway. The family of five is staying at Anmer Hall, their country home in Norfolk, England.
While, according to former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond, Kate’s taking time to recover over the Easter break and “doing her best to join in the outdoor life,” there’s likely not any talk with George, Charlotte, and Louis of her diagnosis (via...

It’s been a rough start to 2024 for the British royal family. Someone has died. And, of course, King Charles III and Kate Middleton are both undergoing treatment for cancer along with Sarah Ferguson. However, one royal couple reportedly can inject some “fun” into life and take Prince William and the Princess of Wales’ “mind off the gravity of what is going on.” Who is it? None other than Zara and Mike Tindall.
Zara and Mike Tindall are the ‘glue’ of the younger generation of British royals
They may not be working royals, but Princess Anne’s daughter, Zara, 42, and her former pro rugby player husband, Mike, 45, play an important role. Just weeks after Harry and Meghan’s engagement announcement, the pair celebrated Christmas together. Meghan joined Harry as the British royal family marked the holiday with a stay at Sandringham, the monarch’s estate in the English countryside.
Meghan’s addition was notably out of the ordinary because, per royal tradition, only spouses are invited to Christmas. Days later, Harry told BBC Radio 4’s Today his then-fiancée had a “fantastic” time.

He continued, joking, “That is one I will definitely give away for the Prince of Wales. One Pint Willy. It’s out there now, sorry sir.

Unlike most couples, the relationships with members of the royal family and their significant others play out in front of millions of people around the world. Examples of that are King Charles and Princess Diana’s failed marriage or Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson‘s scandals that unfolded like a soap opera in public.
But there are also some royal couples whose marriages have stood the test of time. Now, a body language expert is giving their take on those royal marriages that are rarely discussed and which couple doesn’t share an “intimate closeness” anymore.

Ever since The Crown debuted on Netflix, viewers have wondered if members of the royal family watched the series and what they thought of it.
Prince William and his wife (formerly known as Kate Middleton) reportedly have no interest in seeing the show and haven’t watched it. We’ve seen the number of working royals decrease over the last few years. Following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to step down, Prince Andrew resigned from his duties due to criticism about his association with Jeffrey Epstein. And the late Queen Elizabeth‘s cousins are now in their late 70s and 80s and can’t complete too many outings on behalf of the royal family anymore.
But there is still plenty of work and duties the monarchy needs to carry out, and King Charles’ former aide believes there is a plan in place for other members of the Firm to step up. However, there’s one royal who isn’t going to follow that plan because it’s “not her thing.”

But she’s not the only one who felt the pressures after becoming a member of Britain’s famous family. Another person spoke about what it was like being part of the Firm at a point in their life when they were giving up a job they loved.
Here’s who that was and why they said after tying the knot with a royal everything isn’t just “fine and dandy.”
This family member discussed the pressures of marrying into royalty
Mike Tindall is Princess Anne’s son-in-law. He married the Princess Royal’s daughter and accomplished equestrian rider Zara in 2011. Sure, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are known for their public displays of affection, or Pda. However, a body language expert says they’re not the British royals whose existence is basically a “permanent state of Pda.” That honor goes instead to the Duke of Sussex’s cousin, Zara Tindall, and her husband, Mike Tindall.

The Prince and Princess of Wales are more hands-off with each other compared to other British royals such as Zara and Mike Tindall. Sure, they have their moments, like the rare pat on the butt or hugging at a polo match. But, by in large, they keep Pda to a minimum when they’re out and about.

Following the news that Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, were not invited to King Charles III’s Trooping the Colour birthday parade, many wondered if that was a sign that the monarch is not playing games anymore and is now completely done with the Sussexes.
Now, a commentator is claiming that the royals have a “strategy” going forward and will “alienate” Meghan and Harry because their plan doesn’t include them.

Turns out there were some downsides to attending the coronation concert. Ok, maybe just one, according to Mike Tindall. The husband of Princess Anne’s daughter, Zara Tindall, revealed what wasn’t the greatest about going to the coronation concert after King Charles’ crowning.
