Released way back in 2016 here in the UK, Bunker: Project 12 was, at the time, billed as “Outpost meets The Terminator” which is actually rather apt… Bizarre scientific experiments taking place during times of war, ala Outpost and its Nazi zombies; and cyborg killing machines ala The Terminator. Because Bunker: Project 12 touches on both of those.
You see the back story goes that the Russians were working on a secret project to win the Cold War, an army of cyborg super-soldiers – the titular Project 12 – however realising the dangers of unleashing their creation on the world they scrap the dangerous scientific project and bury it forever in the “bunker” of the title. But… Cut to present day and greedy-ass businessman...

Like many modern Christians, Huff (Charlie O'Connell) has developed his very own warped interpretation of The Bible. The misogynistic stories that Huff reads from his copy of "The Good Book" are purposefully designed to teach his three stepdaughters (Jenna Stone, Elly Stefanko, Amber Marie Bollinger) their proper place in the world, reducing their self-worth to mere sex objects to be traded and sold for the betterment of mankind. It is no surprise that Huff's wife, Lorelei (Elina Madison), is afraid to leave her idyllically attractive daughters alone with their violent and sex-crazed stepfather. Luckily, Huff spends a lot of time with his mistress, Laci (Natasha Alam), with whom he plans to escape to Mexico; but, in order to afford his early retirement, Huff invests in a drug deal that -- of course -- goes horribly wrong. Huff is then positioned to chase his three sexy stepdaughters (the proverbial pigs of this tale) around,...

Two members of the wolf pack, Bronson Pelletier and Kiowa Gordon, are trying to get a little film called Heat Wave off the ground. The movie is a dark indie road comedy about two friends taking a cross country trip to go to a Bon Jovi Concert, and all the folks that them meet on their way. Currently the project has raised $2000 of the $20000 that the movie needs for a budget. Check out more below:
Heat Wave is a Dark Indie Road Comedy written by Russ Russo (The Projectionist, Donner Pass) to be directed by Will Lamborn (Award Winning SXSW and Sundance Director) and features an All-Star cast that includes Twilight’s Kiowa Gordon, True Blood’s Natasha Alam, John Carter’s Amanda Clayton, Machete’s Mayra Leal, Broadway’s Olja Hrustic, Twilight’s Bronson Pelletier and more. Heat Wave follows two guys from New Jersey running amok in Hollywood when it’s time to get out of Dodge, a Road Trip comes about due to the fact that Bon Jovi is giving a Farewell Concert in New Jersey in 3 days. It’s about life , friendship, the winding roads, discoveries of self and all the people you meet along the way with a twist.
The film is a collaborative effort stewarded by The Projectionist producer Atit Shah as a response to the changing landscape of the film industry. Russo and Gordon are partly financing the film themselves through Shah’s new company Create Entertainment in order to maintain complete creative control of the source material. We all experienced the frustrations of financing and institutional censorship as artists even when making dark comedy. But now, with advances in digital photography and distribution, we can tell a story in the manner we choose. Movies are changing and we’re changing with it.
The Heat Wave team has realized that Kickstarter is indeed a part of this new independent change, and is seeking to connect with our fan base even further with this campaign. Raising money will assist us in the production of our film in addition to increasing awareness of it. There is a distinct value in having an intimate relationship to those who care most about our work, and we are thankful to Kickstarter for helping foster these relationships.

Some early details and a synopsis have come in for Blink, set to begin shooting in March 2012 in New Orleans, and of course we have everything you need to know right here.
Blink is an independently financed film from writer/producer Kurt Sherrard, which is being directed by maverick actor/director Michael Worth ("Desperate Housewives"). It stars Natasha Alam ("True Blood") and Vivica A. Fox (pictured; Independence Day, Kill Bill).
Synopsis:
A beautiful 29-year-old female supermodel named Rachel Smith is believed to be "The Heartbreaker" serial killer, who targets men. She is a native Californian and resides in San Francisco.
Many people find it hard to believe "The Heartbreaker" could actually be a woman, especially given the nature of the killings and how the men were mutilated. The FBI and other authorities also find it hard to believe it could be a woman since the murders were so malicious. Nevertheless,...

This week's DVD and Blu-ray offerings are no longer a cash-sucking onslaught like the last few weeks, which does make it easier for our wallets.
First up, Centurion, Neil Marshall's fun epic, is finally available for us to take home, and we can definitely recommend it with good conscience. Also, series and movies from TV and their dead-tree companions are out, and they are surprisingly decent in this batch. (Well, one re-release is surely capitalizing on the popularity of its actor, and we bet you can figure out which one that is.) Finally, don't forget the duo release of a couple of Roger Corman flicks!

Now, before you write this off as another great sounding scifi flick that will more than likely not see the light of day, know that Rise of Exile is quickly signing a pretty cool cast including Lost's Naveen Andrews and Lara Croft model Alison Carroll. Also, former CBS News producer Jennifer Niejadlik just signed on as an actress and co-producer for a planned trilogy. Now, onto what it's actually about - which sounds rad.

This gives rise to their common name, "Exiles."

Compared to last week's romp through Bon Temps, this week's episode of True Blood (TV) was, shall we say, anti-climactic. Although I will say that I will not be surprised if the download rate for Eric's (Alexander Skarsgard) "Ain't We Got Fun" ringtone goes up quite a bit. That was hilarious. I've always been a fan of Pam's (Kristin Bauer) snark and her cooler-than-a-cucumber attitude, but I was even more pleased to see her take on Bill (Stephen Moyer), when he comes to Fangtasia looking for Sookie (Anna Paquin). After the seed of doubt has been planted, Bill demands to see Sookie, and Pam "distracts him," with the help of some silver-water mace. I would have loved to see Bill's ass get handed to him by our favorite pink-wearing vampire, but alas, Fangtasia dancer Yvetta (Natasha Alam) frees Sookie and they restrain Pam. The main plot, of course, deals with...

Not one to shy away from showing a little skin, Natasha Alam was spotted looking ever-so-sexy on the set of "Drop Dead Gorgeous" over the past weekend (August 6).
Stripping down to her unmentionables, the Russian-American actress was tended to by set staffers as she continues to juggle working on her series while also having a recurring role on "True Blood".
For those unfamiliar, "Drop Dead Gorgeous" is a dramatic comedy directed by Philip Alderton while co-starring Steven Berkoff and troubled actor Jeremy London.
Meanwhile, aside from her TV endeavors, Miss Alam just so happens to be this month's Playboy cover girl.

While female fans of True Blood are still buzzing over Eric's sexual stamina (and naked rear end) on the third season premiere, many male viewers are likely wondering:
Wait, who was that nude, tied-up beauty on the receiving end of Eric's six-hour long sessions?
Her name is Natasha Alam, she'll recur this season as the character of Yvetta, she covers the latest issue of Playboy and she spoke to TV Fanatic about landing the role:
TV Fanatic: How did the role on True Blood come about?
Alam: I'd been auditioning for True Blood since the pilot aired, but never landed any roles. I almost gave up on getting on this show. However, my audition for Yvetta was excellent and I felt really confident about the way I portrayed the character, but I still didn't think that I would actually book it, so when I finally got the news I was ecstatic.

Hollywoodnews.com: There’s a slew of fresh faces in season 3 of “True Blood.”
So as not to get lost, here’s a rundown, courtesy of IO9.com.
Werewolves
Alcide Heveraux (Joe Manganiello). He’s been the most talked about werewolf character leading up to season 3. Who is Manganiello? He’s a 33-year old actor who has cut his teeth in acting, initially as Peter Parker’s (Tobey Maguire) nemesis Flash Thompson in “Spider-Man.” Also, Manganiello, played the best friend, Brad, to Jason Segel’s character in “How I Met Your Mother.” His alter-ego on “True Blood” is apparently the gentle werewolf who assists Sookie in her quest to find Bill. Apparently, he really gives her a tour of his hairy-moonlit world. Alcide also looks out for her. No word if a Bella-Jacob affair a la “Twilight” is in the works here. Alcide is also a member of the werewolf biker gang.

New "True Blood" star Natasha Alam has posed naked for the July issue of Playboy magazine. And the Uzbekistan native, who admitted that she was thrilled with the shoot, might be even prouder as her racy image graces the cover of the men's magazine.
"It's Playboy! It's a legend. I wanted to be in Playboy since... As an actress, it was my dream," Alam told Access Hollywood. "My publicist called and (asked) if (I wanted) do it and she was like, 'I don't know if we should do it,' and I was like, 'Yes!' I love it'."
Playboy shot is not the first time Alam bares her clothes in front of camera. She made her nude debut on "True Blood", in which she plays a sexy dancer at the Fangtasia club owned by Alexander Skarsgard's Eric Northman who also stripped down. She admitted that the big reveal on...

Sexy star Natasha Alam is celebrating her upcoming addition to the cast of vampire series True Blood by baring all for Playboy magazine.
The actress graces the cover of the July 2010 issue of the men's magazine and peels off inside.
The spread marks the second time Alam has stripped for the cameras - her nude scene debut came on the show, in which she'll play a sexy dancer at the Fangtasia club owned by Alexander Skarsgard's True Blood character Eric Northman.
Skarsgard gets naked in the scene, too.
And she tells AccessHollywood.com the big reveal on TV was much more nerve-wracking than her Playboy shoot: "When we shot it, I just had a baby. I actually am about 10 pounds overweight in that scene, but I love my boobs! I was still breast feeding so it looked great.
"I had never done nudity before, so I was really, really worried... Alexander helped me so much - he just walked in the room, dropped his robe and he was all out there, no sock, nothing and I was like, 'Oh, Ok... I can do it too.'"

Five days to the highly-anticipated season 3 premiere, HBO organized a red carpet event for "True Blood". Taking place at the ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome in Los Angeles on Tuesday, June 8, the event saw faces of the regular cast, the new ones, someone from the past and guest stars.
Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin arrived as a couple, so did Carrie Preston and Michael Emerson. Deborah Ann Woll and Jim Parrack who play couple on the show attended the event with their respective partners.
Beside the regular cast, there are also those who portray new characters in season 3 such as James Frain, Brit Morgan and Natasha Alam. Surprisingly, Michelle Forbes whose character Maryann was killed in season 2 popped up again as honorary guest.
Kate Bosworth, Ashley Scott and Ken Howard also came as guests. Bosworth has been linked romantically to cast Alexander Skarsgard but they did not display themselves as a couple.

Russian-American model/actress Natasha Alam is joining the cast of "True Blood" for the third season as Yvetta, a new dancer at vampire club Fangtasia and love interest for the vamp owner Eric (Alexander Skarsgard).
And even though she's the July covergirl for Playboy (with an 8-page pictorial inside), Natasha claims that the frequent nudity on the HBO series gave her pause.
"I'd never done nudity. I had to overcome a few things in my head to do it," the former "Bold and the Beautiful" actress tells the magazine. "[Then] here comes Alexander Skarsgard. He drops his robe, and he's not wearing a sock -- nothing. He's just totally out there, walking around as if nothing's going on. I was like, 'If he can do it, I can do it.'"
She also expresses an appreciation for Eric's right-hand (wo)man, Pam (Kristin Bauer).
"She's got that kind of witty sexuality and nastiness about her.

Welcome to your Wednesday morning television briefing. The Chicago Tribune's Maureen Ryan has some teasers from an interview she did with Lost showrunners Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, which she'll publish in a few weeks. But as the anticipation for the sixth and final season of Lost (launching February 2nd), Ryan has graciously published some snippets from the interview now. "We kind of concocted the mythology of the show a long time ago, and it’s like having a Christmas present and you kept it on the shelf a long time and people are finally going to get to open it and see it," Cuse told Ryan about the series' ending. "So we’re finally getting to deploy the ending of the show and that is exciting to us. It is a story and I think as storytellers, that’s always what’s delicious -- you set up the audience...

When "True Blood" returns to small screen in 2010 with season three, Anna Paquin could be seen having a fling with Joe Manganiello. HBO has recently confirmed that the actor who stars as Owen the Bartender on "One Tree Hill" has landed the recurring part of werewolf Alcide Herveaux.
Series creator Alan Ball has discussed about the possible romance between Sookie and Alcide in early 2009. "I believe [Alcide] appears first in the third episode," he detailed. "Alcide is already in love with someone, a very bad woman named Debbie Pelt. But will he fall in love with some else? It's too soon to say."
Although mentioning that it was too soon to talk about the fling, he did mentioned that the two characters will get along. "This good-looking, rough-looking, but articulate and basically decent man is not what he seems," he said. "He is a heroic type and he and Sookie get along really well,...

More and more actors are joining "True Blood" as the fresh faces who will appear in the third season. Beside finding an actor to play the heavily recurring character Alcide Herveaux, the show also cast three additional actors for Yvetta, Reverend Daniels and Joe Lee Mickens.
Showrunner Alan Ball chose to pick lesser known actor to play the werewolf Alcide. Joe Manganiello, best known as Owen on "One Tree Hill" gets his major break as Sookie's aid in finding Bill who was kidnapped at the end of season 2. In the book by Charlaine Harris, Alcide is summoned by Eric and will have a fling with Sookie. However, Alcide is emotionally attached to his on and off girlfriend Debbie Pelt. An actress is yet to be found to play Debbie.
Ball said previously that Alcide would probably appear in the third episode. "This good-looking, rough-looking, but articulate and basically decent man is not what he seems.

True Blood has been casting new actors for season three left and right - Alfre Woodard here, Natasha Alam there - but it's saved one of its biggest new roles for today:
Joe Manganiello will take on the character of Sookie’s upcoming werewolf crush, Alcide Herveaux.
Fans familiar with Charlaine Harris’ book series know that Eric summons Alcide — described in casting notes as attractive, rough-around-the-edges, well-spoken and heroic - to help Sookie in her search for Bill.
Manganiello is best known for roles on One Tree Hill (as Owen) and How I Met Your Mother (as Brad). Think he's the right choice for Alcide?
As Entertainment Weekly reports, the show will soon cast Alcide’s on-again, off-again girlfriend Debbie Pelt.

True Blood is giving Eric a new toy. Actress-model Natasha Alam (The Bold and the Beautiful) is joining the season 3 cast in the potentially recurring role of Yvetta, Eric's new dancer at Fangtasia, sources confirm to me exclusively. Eric engages in a sexual relationship with his newest employee, which, if I'm not mistaken, is a flagrant violation of Fangtasia's super-strict sexual harassment policy. (I made a funny.) In other True Blood casting news, character actor Gregg Daniel (NYPD Blue, Desperate Housewives) has been tapped to play Reverend Daniels. Tara's mom turns to the Reverend for, um, comfort. (I made a funny a again.
