It’s been a while since I’ve seen Josh Hartnett in anything, but he has cropped back up and has been cast in the new series for Spectrum Originals and Paramount Network entitled Paradise Lost.
He joins the already cast Bridget Regan (Jane the Virgin) in the drama, as well as Barbara Hershey (Beaches), Nick Nolte (Warrior), Gail Bean (Unexpected), Danielle Deadwyler (Reckoning), and Shane McRae (Sneaky Pete). Variety reports the following synopsis for the series:
“a Southern Gothic mystery about a psychiatrist who moves with her family from California to her husband’s hometown in Mississippi, only to uncover shameful secrets that irrevocably change the lives of everyone involved.”
This sounds intriguing, and I’m ready to hear more. Let us know if this is sounds interesting to you. Are you a fan of Josh Hartnett?...

Despite being touted as an impressive streaming performer, Sneaky Pete has been given the axe from Amazon.
Sneaky Pete was unable to grift itself another season on Amazon Prime Video, which has canceled the series.
The series, the co-creation of Bryan Cranston and David Shore, launched on the streaming platform on August 7, 2015. It starred Giovanni Ribisi as Marius Josipovic, a smart, seedy con man who, initially upon his release from prison, dodges a debt to a dangerous gangster (Cranston) by posing as his cellmate, Pete Murphy, using all the stories he’s been told to ingratiate himself to the Bernhardts, Pete’s long-estranged Connecticut-based family, who run a bail bonds business. However, as we witness over the course of three seasons, Marius/Pete instinctually grifts his way out of problems; a practice that’s usually successful, but tends to spawn more problems and compounds others.

I just finished blazing through all three seasons of Sneaky Pete on Amazon. The day after I watched the last episode of Season 3, I see the news that Amazon has cancelled the show and that it will not be returning for a fourth season. So, that sucks.
Sneaky Pete was a great show! I enjoyed the characters that it introduced and the story it told, and I was looking forward to see that story continue. Well, that’s not going to happen now.
The series was created by Bryan Cranston and David Shore and starred Giovanni Ribisi as a con man named Marius. After getting out of prison, he found himself being hunted by the vicious gangster he once robbed. As a way to hide from his past, he assumes the identity of his cellmate Pete and goes to stay with Pete’s estranged family, who he ends up becoming attached to.

Sneaky Pete couldn’t sneak his way into another season: Amazon has cancelled the Giovanni Ribisi-led con man drama after three seasons, our sister site Variety reports.
The series, starring Ribisi as a crook who steals his cellmate’s identity and lies his way into a family of strangers after his release from prison, started out as a CBS pilot, getting picked up by Amazon after the Eye network passed. Co-creator David Shore (The Good Doctor) then stepped down as showrunner, and Graham Yost (Justified) was installed to retool the would-be procedural and transform it into a serialized drama,...

Amazon has opted not to order a fourth season of drama series Sneaky Pete.
For the most recent third season, which debuted May 10, production moved from New York to California with $9.2 million worth of Golden State tax credits. For Season 3, Blake Masters joined as new executive producer/showrunner, while executive producers Graham Yost, Fred Golan and Michael Dinner exited.
Created by Bryan Cranston and David Shore, Sneaky Pete starred Emmy nominee Giovanni Ribisi as con man Marius, who left prison only to find himself hunted by the vicious gangster he once robbed. With nowhere else to turn, he took cover from his past by assuming the identity of his cellmate Pete, “reuniting” with Pete’s estranged family.
Emmy winner Margo Martindale, Marin Ireland, Peter Gerety, Libe Barer and Shane McRae co-starred in the drama, which originated as a CBS pilot. It did not go to series at the broadcast network but,...

Margo Martindale has been a working actor all her adult life, but it wasn’t until she was in her late fifties that she became — as she’s described whenever she plays herself on BoJack Horseman — Esteemed Character Actress Margo Martindale. Her current hot streak began in 2011 when she played backwoods drug lord Mags Bennett in the second season of FX’s Justified. The role won her the first of three Emmys (the other two came from playing Kgb handler Claudia on The Americans) and vaulted her from the ranks...

Sneaky Pete is in a unique position as it enters its third season.
The show does not waste its time getting right back into the swing of things, taking the expected and twisting it into a surprising but inevitable direction.
There's a realigning of sorts, in which its characters are taken down their natural, and uncomfortable, paths.
A looming theme comes to light through the opening hours of the third season: the need to be better. It's on every character's mind as their status quo changes in some form.
The show plays with this delicate balance, stretching barriers while retaining the core the show, something at which it excels.
Marius' past drives his story allowing for his shell to crack a little more. Giovanni Ribisi as the lead gives the show a commanding presence as his character continues to fascinate.

The groundbreaking kids sketch comedy show is returning to Nickelodeon. We have details on the All That revival...
The execs at Nickelodeon have been all about embracing the network’s animated past. A new Hey Arnold film, upcoming features for Rocko’s Modern Life and Invader Zim, and a planned Rugrats revival are in the pipeline. The network also tapped into its rich game show IP, successfully introducing Double Dare to a new generation and reimagining Legends of the Hidden Temple as a TV movie. The network’s strategy of using its ‘90s and ‘00s hits to connect generations proves a little harder when looking at its hit live-action shows; shows like Clarissa Explains It All, Sneaky Pete, Kenan and Kel, and The Amanda Show were all character driven by the child stars of the moment. Everything we know about Castle Rock Season 2, including latest news, release date, trailers, cast, and more!
Castle Rock Season 2 is coming soon to Hulu! The streamer's renewal arrived even before the aggregate numbers of Season 1, which premiered on July 25, 2018. Indeed, the weekly series procured a second season renewal only six episodes into that first frame.
Living up to its anthology series status, Season 2 focuses on a new story and characters, centered on King's iconic Misery captor, Annie Wilkes, as played by Lizzy Caplan. As Thomason recently explained to us: “The basic idea is that it is an anthology in the sense that we're going to tell a new story that gives you a different lens into Castle Rock and into Stephen King each season. The thing we've always been really excited about, in the same way that the Stephen King universe operates, is that each story will stand alone,...

Amazon’s Sneaky Pete will return for more scheming and conning for a third season in May.
Sneaky Pete Season 3 is officially coming to Amazon Prime. However, it marks a change, since the series made a coastal crossing from its production home of New York to California, taking advantage of a $9.2 million tax credit (with plans to spend $53 million in qualified expenditures); a substantial gain for a series of this scope.
The California Film Commission announced the Sneaky Pete relocation, revealing the series as the thirteenth to become California-bound in the aftermath of a tax credit, joining notables such as Showtime’s The Affair and Netflix’s The Oa. The move was a major U-Haul task for Sneaky Pete’s nearly 250 cast, 220 crew and 2,510 extras (including stand-ins measured in man-days).
