Pope Benedict as an Ensure-swilling, blunt-bogarting grump?
A goofy new video, "It's Hard Out Here For A Pope," presents the unholy possibility in the wake of the pontiff's resignation.
The spoof is brought to you by Cult Comedy Pictures, which also crafted "Damn It Feels Good To Be a Banksta" and "Zombie Clap."
In the latest, the pope (Jake Hart) gripes about the issues that have dogged him in his tenure, while Lucifer pursues him. To the tune of the Oscar-winning song "It's Hard Out Here For A Pimp" (sung here by Kajuana Shuford), the religious leader raps, "I pissed off Islam, I pissed off the Jews, I can't control my bladder so I piss on my shoes."
Yeah, it's that kind of video.
"We don't fear the controversy. That's the essence of our 'brand,'" Cult Comedy Pictures creative director George Gaffney told The Huffington Post in an email.

TNT is dipping its toe into the monster genre with a "Frankenstein" series based on novels by best-selling author Dean Koontz.
James V. Hart (the 1992 "Dracula," "August Rush") and his son, Jake Hart, will write the pilot script for the show, Deadline reports, and James Hart will be an executive producer alongside Koontz.
Koontz's story is set in New Orleans, where Victor Frankenstein, now going by the name Victor Helios, has managed to survive for 200 years after he was presumed dead in a battle with the monster he created. The monster survived too, and coincidentally has also settled in New Orleans. Victor has continued his experiments, both extending his own life and creating new beings who are deeply loyal to him.
If that sounds a little familiar, it's because the TNT project is the second adaptation of Koontz's "Frankenstein" series to come to television. USA aired a movie in 2004 that...

It’s a well-known fact that James Patterson does not actually write his books. He collaborates with other authors, writing outlines –he claims about 80 pages or so- that these said collaborators then flesh out into full length novels. Patterson enjoys the lion shares of the profits and the fame that comes with it. Meanwhile, the real writers get little in way of money, though some eventually get book deals of their own. Back in 2004, horror writer Dean Koontz –someone I’ve always considered a second-rate Stephen King- was developing an idea with science fiction author Kevin J. Anderson and the USA network to create a modern day version of Frankenstein. Koontz withdrew from the project over creative differences eventually with the network, but the production continued in a different direction with similar characters and a modified plot. Much like Patterson, Koontz worked on the outlines he created with Anderson and together,...

Dean Koontz's Frankenstein novels are now in development at TNT, says Deadline. The feature film rights were sold to 1019 Entertainment back in 2010, however, it seems the production outfit believes TV is now the way to go.
James V. Hart and his son Jake Hart are penning the adaptation. The former also scripted Bram Stoker's Dracula.
Koontz previously brought Frankenstein to the screen in a 2004 made-for-tv movie that was directed by Marcus Nispel and starred Parker Posey and Vincent Perez. The books he penned endured, however, even if the made-to-tv movie proved to be a dud.

Screengrab from the ‘Banksta’ video
Occupy Wall Street may be struggling to find its core message, but with the release of “Damn It Feels Good To Be A Banksta,” at least it has its soundtrack. Cult Comedy Picture Show, a comedy troupe based in New York, premiered a parody music video on Tuesday in which Republican Presidential frontrunner Herman Cain joins a pair of Wall Street fat cats to infiltrate Zucotti Park in New York and sing (okay, rap) about their success.
