"You stand on the sideline too long, the game is gonna be over." Paramount Movies has revealed an official trailer for a psychological thriller titled Shadow Land, being dropped on VOD this summer. The latest from the same stuntman filmmaker behind Air Force One Down before. Haunted by relentless nightmares foretelling his untimely demise, Former President Robert Wainwright summons his past psychiatrist to his upstate residence who discovers the threat may be more real than imagined. With his trusted advisor, they embark on a mission to uncover the truth, navigating a dangerous path that could end up exposing a global crisis. This sounds like a completely crazy nonsensical script that is might be trying to comment on current events. But anyone with half a brain can see right through the Bs. Starring Jon Voight, Marton Csokas, Rhona Mitra, Philip Winchester, and Sean Maguire. It looks much more kooky than it does thrilling.

20-Squad is back, and it feels so good.
On S.W.A.T. Season 6 Episode 1, Hondo, Deacon, and Tan are in Bangkok and obviously, things don't go quite as planned when Hondo stumbles upon a heroin operation with his old military buddy, Joe.
With guest star Sean Maguire, the CBS series is starting its season strong with plenty of action and emotions.
This is the second time that a season on S.W.A.T. has begun in a different country and the third overall episode arc that has done that, not to mention that we got an elephant in the background in one scene, which may or may not have been planned.
You never know just what to expect when an episode of a series films in a completely different setting, but I have to say that it's so nice when it happens every so often.
We aren't confined to just HQ and different locations in and around Los Angeles.

Grace Alie is the production designer on Netflix’s “The Chair” (airing Aug. 20), which stars Sandra Oh as the first woman of color to head the English department at fictional Pembroke University. Alie researched images of Dartmouth, Yale and Harvard for that traditional Ivy League look and found that throughout the eras, the furniture hardly changed at all.

The acting career of Robin Williams spans several decades and dozens upon dozens of films. His first calling, however, was making people smile. Beginning his career as a stand-up comedian, Williams took all he’d learned to the big screen, where he gave heartfelt performance after heartfelt performance, solidifying his legacy as one of modern cinema’s most recognizable and beloved faces.
On August 11th, 2014, Williams’ body was found in his home in Paradise Cay, California. The cause of death was ruled suicide by hanging. Welcome back to the Supporting Actress Smackdown, a summer festival in which we investigate Oscar vintages from years past. This time around it's 1981 in which an estranged daughter, an unhappy socialite, a guilt-ridden Catholic, a political radical, and a scandalous young beauty gather for our viewing pleasure.
1981's Supporting Actress nominations made room for a two-time winner with a very personal project, an actor's actor in a star-driven historical epic, two sturdy characters in 'issues' pictures of very different kinds and a rapidly rising starlet who had made a big film debut the year prior in 1980's Best Picture winner Ordinary People.
This Month's Panelists
Here to talk about these five nominated turns and the movies and Oscars of 1981 are, in alphabetical order: writer/director Eric Blume, actor Donna Lynne Champlin (Crazy Ex Girlfriend), actor Sean Maguire, festival programmer Amir Soltani, and critic Boyd Van Hoeij (The Hollywood Reporter). And,...

This The Magicians review contains spoilers.
The Magicians Season 5 Episode 12
The Magicians should be applauded for its commitment to including a musical episode each season, and the fact that “The Balls” comes just before the end of the series makes this one particularly poignant. In that sense, centering the songs around emotions, bottled or otherwise, was an appropriate choice. However, combining the musical elements with a heist, another tried and true narrative in this show, may have had a diluting effect on both fan favorite formats rather than doubling the enhancement. Nevertheless, with the world seed in hand (or in… you know), the finale is bound to be legitimately world changing.
The setup for the heist was, as usual, a high point of the episode. The Magicians is good at making sure everyone has something to contribute. Here, for example, we had Marina describing her failed attempt at stealing the...

Syfy fantasy series “The Magicians,” about a group of college students who travel through time and worlds to battle wildly imaginative creatures, draws to a close April 1 after five seasons, having taken viewers on a Harry Potter-meets-video-game thrill ride. Knowing that this is the end of the run gives MastersFX founder and president Todd Masters and his team one last chance to showcase the program’s most popular characters — using their own magic to deliver the makeup effects.
Series creators Sera Gamble and John McNamara had specific ideas about what they wanted in the show’s seven so-called questing creatures, which, when discovered, must grant the magician a wish that helps fulfill a quest. For instance, Sir Effingham (played by Sean Maguire) is half man, half pig, and he looks a bit like Benjamin Franklin.

The business of depicting genius on screen has always attracted screenwriters, directors, actors and audiences alike. There is fertile dramatic ground in the notion that those born with a gift walk in the same world as the rest of us – and the friction and awe this causes plays a huge part in many of the films on this list. Here’s our look at some of the best Movie Geniuses.
Good Will Hunting
This is the film that introduced the world to Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. It earned the boys a Best Original Screenplay Oscar in 1998 and their transformation to Hollywood big shots is visible when their stunned looks of realisation gives way to youthful exuberance. It’s a treat to watch.

Spoiler Alert: This story contains details about tonight’s Once Upon a Time series finale on ABC “Leaving Storybrooke”
As Once Upon a Time creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz promised us back in February, the series finale wouldn’t be about tying up everything in a bow, “rather hearing the song one more time,” and what’s clear is that the book on Storybrooke can certainly be reopened up again whenever ABC feels the need. Kitsis also told us back then that his pitch for a season 8, if there ever was one, would be saved “for the reunion, when they (ABC) approach us in two years.”
“We were joking,” Horowitz told us last night about their tease for a potential return of Once Upon a Time. But given the current fever for yesteryear TV show reunions like Roseanne and Will & Grace, never say never.

Regina has had a handful of epic romances on Once Upon a Time, but few compare to her relationship with Robin Hood. While their love story is tragically cut short when Robin dies during season five, the lovebirds will finally have a reunion. Sean Maguire, who plays the infamous bandit, is among the many fan-favorite stars who are returning for the series finale! We sat down with Lana Parrilla, the actress who plays Regina, to discuss her directorial debut earlier this season, and we couldn't help but ask what it was like reuniting with her costar and close friend.
"Sean just brings so much humor and light and comedy, so you're going to get full of laughs when he was around," she said. "He's just very easy to get along with. He's very easy to work with. I absolutely adore him. It was like he never left." Of course, that is partly true.

Now that the final glass slippers have dropped and we know who all will be back for Once Upon a Time‘s series finale, it’s time to ask the tough questions about the resulting ramifications of these many anticipated returns.
For example: Jennifer Morrison will put in another encore, but is it to A) play a still-pregnant Emma, B) actually birth her and Killian’s baby, or — given the unpredictable passage of time in different realms and what not — C) introduce grown Henry to a teenage sibling?

It sounds like Once Upon a Time is going out with a happily ever after for most characters.
According to TV Line, Jennifer Morrison, Josh Dallas, Ginnifer Goodwin and Emilie de Ravin will return to the fairytale drama for its two-part series finale.
They join Sean Maguire, Victoria Smurfit, JoAnna Garcia-Swisher, Robbie Kay, Lee Arenberg, Keegan Tracy, Tony Amendola, Jared Gilmore and Beverley Elliot who were previously confirmed to be making comebacks.
The series famously rebooted for Once Upon a Time Season 7, and the action shifted from Storybrooke to Hyperion Heights, and that meant some of the original actors departed.

But the big revamp failed to reverse the show's downward trajectory. On Friday nights, the series has slumped over 40 percent to 2.4 million viewers and a 0.5 rating among adults 18-49.
ABC swung the ax on the series earlier this year after seven seasons.

“Once Upon a Time” ends its run in May with a series finale, “Leaving Storybrooke,” that will see the return of one-time stars Jennifer Morrison, Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas. They all left the show last year at the end of season 6, after Morrison’s character, Emma Swann, got her happy ending. She married her long-time love Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) as her parents Snow White (Goodwin) and Prince Charming (Dallas) looked on lovingly.
Morrison has been seen only once in this season 7 reboot, which jumped ahead several decades and focused on her now grown-up son Henry (Andrew J. West) and his daughter Lucy (Alison Fernandez). Tapped for a return appearance in the third last installment, episode 20, is Jared Gilmore as young Henry who will figure prominently in flashbacks.
