This movie list is primarily movies shown on the Hallmark Channel, but it does contain a few movies from Hallmark Drama Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel.
I have listed them in the order of my favorites, not necessary the best movies but the ones I enjoy the most.
Beginning in January 2019, I will rate each movie based on my probability of watching in the future, the rating will be:
5-Star: CLASSIC (can watch again & again)
4-Star: Favorite (watch once a year)
3-Star: Good (watch every couple years)
2-Star: Pass (one watch is enough)
1-Star: Dud (hard to watch once)
About me: I was born, raised and live in a small town in Kentucky. I did travel the world for over two decades while serving in the Navy. I am happily married and a father. So I have lots of things that have influenced what type of movies I like which is mainly TCM, HM, comedies, military, and most things that are clean in nature.

This is a fun watch. The movie begins with three young teenagers morning the loss of Bradley's parents who were killed in an accident. They staged a mock wedding so Bradley would not be without relatives. Bradley (Jesse Metcalfe) leaves and becomes a huge music star who is engaged to a beautiful and successful actress (Laura Mennell).
Fifteen years later Bradley returns to his hometown to sell his family farm. He soon reconnects with his old sweetheart (Autumn Reeser), who plays one of HM's best leading roles, she is full of spirit, wise cracks, has great dept and looks natural as a country girls. The chemistry between Bradley and Sara is strong and realistic. There are a cast of supporting actors that assist in making this a HM classic.
Autumn Reeser is one of my favorite HM leading ladies because she is always fun, charming and an absolute beauty.

Two young chefs Nikki Turner (Jen Lilley) and Brendan Penny (Paul Dellucci) are working in a restaurant owned by a well known chef who is determined to do things her way. Obviously this causes tension and Nikki and Brendan eventually have to find their own way.
Nikki's smile and clean, honest spirit is refreshing and from the very beginning the chemistry with the equally charming Paul is among the most believable HM has produced. I found myself almost becoming attached to them and the sidebar characters and story lines.
It was also kind of refreshing that there was not an additional relationship (boyfriend, girlfriend) that had to be overcome. This is one of my favorite HM movies that I will enjoy again and again. I hope we see more of Jen Lilley in future HM movies.

This is one of my favorite HM movies.
Noah McManus (Jesse Metcalfe) gives a positive twist to being a politician. He quits his campaign public relations position because he lost faith in the Boston Mayor candidate that he represented. He ends up in a small town in Maine where he accidentally gets involved with the towns politics. So he serves as the heroic big city guy that saves a small towns political problems and also wins the girl, Haily Caldwell (Natalie Lisinska).
The outdoor scenery and the supporting cast is wonderful.

This movie has a feel good story of a runaway princess Katie Holiday (Briana Evigan) who just wants to have some time for herself to experience a Christmas as she remembered before her mother past. As she eludes her security team and ventures into the city she finds herself kind of down on her luck when good samaritan Jack (Paul Campbell) offers her kindness and invites her to spend a few days with his family. While visiting with her new friends she keeps her true identity secret because she appreciates that they except her for her and not because she is famous. Jack wants to help Katie and throughout the movie their love grows in the process.
This is a must watch and I will enjoy it for years to come. For fans of santa you will be pleased because their are lots of them.

The movie begins with Hannah Dunbar (Lacey Chabert) faced with a decision between her career or her sweetheart Ben Matthews (Tyron Leitso). The movie fast forwards 10 years and she is an award winning news reporter. Out of the blue she gets a friend request through social media from Ben. With a chance encounter with Santa he asks her to wish for something that she wants, and then she wakes up she is married to Ben, with two children, a dog and living in the suburbs. It is a delightful movie that has Hannah trying to figure out which life is most important.

The chemistry between Ariel (Heather Morris) and Nathan (Jonathan Bennett) is one of the most believable that HM has produced. Both characters are likeable, and their best friends Dave (Brandon Jay McLaren) and Krista (Ryan Michelle Bathe) are entertaining.
Arieal hosts a radio show about relationships and always tells her audience what a perfect boyfriend (Jonathan) she has, but he breaks up with her and accidentally her long time friend Nathan is revealed as her boyfriend. So they go with it, and it works. Worth a watch.

This is a movie about two single parents Carly (Lisa Whelchel) and Andy (Michael Shanks) who meet accidentally in a park and instantly there was an attraction. Carly has a blog about how to a single parent should raise a child, and Andy responds to her blog with a judgmental and completely opposite view. So they resent each other but also have an attraction through the blog. In the meantime their personal romance blossoms as well as HM can make it happen, they care for each other but there are some bumps in the road as they learn that they are the two blogging rivals.
The best thing about this movie for me is it how two middle aged people slowly move back into the dating game. I must say that Lisa Whelchel has been a favorite since her Facts of Life years.

The movie begins with Riley Vance (Shenae Grimes-Beech) struggling to find employment when she gets a tip on a personal assistant job. When they call her name to be interviewed they call Riley V., and while in the interview she realizes that the interview was suppose to be for Riley Vanderdale but she was already committed and hired so she just goes with it. So Riley becomes the assistant to William Young (Steve Lund) who has inherited his father's massive company and is challenged to perform well to prove his worth. William is faced with possibly closing the company's flagship toy factory in Dover, New Hampshire. While in Dover several delightful characters are introduced such as Piper (Hannah Spear) who is resourceful, delightful and fills several roles for the town; Mayor Martin Keegan (Ron Lea) is cheerful, funny and provides William with wonderful advice; the sheriff, and several others contribute to the fun.
The chemistry between Riley and William feels real and you know they will be great together. This is a fun and romantic movie that shares to spirit of Christmas.

Sara Thomas (Lacey Chabert) is an awesome team player at marketing firm that is basically a pushover that allows others to take advantage of her good nature. At the company's Christmas party her marketing director promotes her project as his own. Santa offers to grant a Christmas list that would will only last for 48 hours. Sara wished for courage to stand up for herself. This wish takes Sara on a journey with her firm's CEO Peter Williams (Paul Greene) that includes a road trip, confronting an unreasonable client, strained family relations, and so much more.
The chemistry between Sara and Paul is believable and you find yourself cheering for them. Chabert is my favorite HM leading lady, and Williams is also a favorite.

Watched the premier (8/19/20). It is charming because it actually has lots of dogs in it. The leads have ok chemistry but the charm for this movie for me is the side bar relationship between Lee Majors (Six Million Dollar Man) and Lindsey Wagnor (Bionic Woman).

Debbie Taylor (Debbie Gibson) has been a successful pop-star since she was a teenager and is faced with her fading career in her middle ages. She is faced with having few job qualities and unfortunately she blew almost all of the money she has earned. Regretfully she returns to her hometown and is reluctantly taken in by her sister Denise (Pascale Hutton) who also helps her get a job at the high school as a music teacher. During the process she meets fellow teacher Noah Burns (Robert Grant) and slowly their romance begins. The highlight of this movie is the talented students that Debbie helps bring out the best in them. The chemistry between Debbie and Noah is believable how two adults who have been out of the dating game for some time would be a little awkward. Honestly I was never a Debbie Gibson fan but I found myself appreciating and cheering for her in this movie.

While attending their best friend’s wedding maid of honor Dr. Tess Harper (Maggie Lawson) and best man divorce lawyer Michael (Paul Greene) play roles in planning the wedding. Tess is the cheerful, by the book type of person while Michael is the go with the flow type. Paul Greene is one of my favorite HM actors, Maggie Lawson is enjoyable and it also had one of my favorite HM supporting actors Jack (Peter Benson). The movie was about average because it does not have anything that stands out as very funny, silly or emotional.

The thing that I enjoy the most about HM movies is the chemistry between the lead actors. While Luna Gilson (Jen Lilley) and Will Nash (Ryan Paevey) are likable characters they lack chemistry and their attraction was not convincing. I also feel that HM failed in capturing the beauty of a New England farm during the fall season.
On the positive side Jen Lilley is gorgeous as usual, but she never once dressed like she was in the country. Her son Bobby (Dean Petriw) was the most convincing character in the movie.

This is a movie were a man of the cloth (Cameron Mathison) falls for a writer (Andie MacDowell) who is returning to her hometown to help her overcome writers block. The movie starts out slow and goes down hill from there. The leads never convinced me they were into each other, they had poor chemistry.
Mathison is normally an awesome HM lead but this wasn't a good fit for him.
