Carrie-Anne Moss, best known for her iconic role as Trinity in 'The Matrix' franchise, is set to join Arnold Schwarzenegger and the cast of "FUBAR" for the show's second season on Netflix.
Moss will play Greta Nelso, described as a former East German spy who has a "passionate history" with Schwarzenegger's character, Luke Brunner. In the new season, Luke finds himself facing off against villains from his past, including an old flame (Moss) who threatens to destroy the world.
"We're thrilled to welcome Carrie-Anne Moss to the cast of "FUBAR" for what promises to be an action-packed second season," said creator and showrunner Nick Santora. "Her character Greta Nelso adds an exciting new dynamic as a nuanced adversary with complicated ties to Arnold's Luke Brunner."
In addition to Schwarzenegger and Moss, Season 2 will see the return of Monica Barbaro, Fortune Feimster, Travis Van Winkle, Jay Baruchel, Aparna Brielle, Andy Buckley, Milan Carter, Fabiana Udenio, and Barbara Eve Harris.
The satirical spy series, produced by Skydance Television, follows CIA operative Luke Brunner (Schwarzenegger) who finds himself thrust back into action after saving his daughter during an intended retirement mission in Season 1.
The series' first season garnered praise for its offbeat blend of action, comedy, and family dynamics anchored by Schwarzenegger's first major TV role. Season 2 will continue exploring those elements while raising the stakes with new threats for Brunner to confront.
A release date for the eight-episode season has not been announced yet. The series is executive produced by Santora, Schwarzenegger, Adam Higgs, Scott Sullivan, and others.

Ryan Kehoe is ready to share his truth. In the clip, Kehoe has a very personal discussion with Adam Larson about how life has changed since either of them were in their twenties, with both agreeing that they only “thought” they were “fun” at that age. “I knew everything,” Larson says. “That was probably the most annoying part of myself.” After Kehoe told him, “I like this version of you,” he goes on to explain, “Today is eight months for me. I didn’t think eight months ago when I checked myself into detox that I’d be in South Africa competing for a quarter of a million dollars.” In a subsequent confessional, Kehoe offers audiences even more details about his journey to sobriety,...

Looking to get into the game of great basketball movies? Well, we’re here with an assist.
There’s nothing like an exhilarating sports drama. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll cheer — sometimes all at the same time — and (depending on how invested you are) you might even break a sweat, just like the players on-screen. It doesn’t matter if you’re watching a classic underdog story or the rise of an athlete always destined for greatness; these films pack universal appeal.
Whether you’re basking in basketball season, keeping tabs on your bracket during March Madness, breathlessly watching the NBA finals, or it’s the agonizing wait between seasons, it’s worth taking your shot on a movie about the fast-paced game. So why not add these films to your lineup? LeBron levels of inspiration to come.

“House of the Dragon” Season 2 is about to soar onto screens soon.
After Season 2 was first unveiled at Ccxp in Sao Paolo in December 2023 with a teaser, and later released viral dueling trailers, the season of the dragon is almost upon audiences. Season 2 will not have a time jump like in Season 1, and instead solely focus on former besties turned step-family Rhaenyra (Emma D’Arcy) and Alicent (Olivia Cooke) as they both battle for the Iron Throne.
Per the official synopsis, after the death of King Viserys I (Paddy Considine), an undeniable rift has grown between his daughter Rhaenyra (D’Arcy) and wife Alicent (Cooke), after their close friendship as teenagers. A rift that’s now a full-blown civil war.
The series is based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” and is set 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones.”

There’s a reason the most successful night of primetime used to be branded “Must See TV.” In the late 1990s, NBC’s “ER” would attract more than 30 million viewers a week in its Thursday 10 p.m. time slot. At its peak, the medical drama came close to commanding a 40 share — meaning that 40% of people watching TV in that hour were tuned in to the Warner Bros. Television series.
Today, such an accomplishment is beyond the reach of any TV program short of the Super Bowl. Viewers now watch TV in very different ways than they did 25 years ago, on their own timetables.

Stephen Colbert celebrated his 60th birthday on Monday—but it was viewers of The Late Show who received the best gift: an unexpected revival of “Even Stevphen,” a long-running bit from Colbert and Steve Carell’s time together on The Daily Show.
As Colbert got ready to start the show, he acknowledged that it was a monumental day for him, but opined that “I think aging is a good thing.” It was then that Carell suddenly appeared on the stage, bellowing “You are wrong, Stephen!” to his former late-night colleague.
For old-school fans of The Daily Show, it was clear that the two Steves were about to engage in one of their classic “Even Stevphen” debates. The topic? Aging.
Carell made his not-so-happy feelings about getting older clear when he lamented that “We are born astride a grave and, each day, the cruel grasp of time pulls us closer to oblivion.

It feels like you can’t spend more than two minutes on the internet without coming across some form of the dreaded “sex scene discourse.”
For those blissfully unfamiliar with the concept, it’s basically the debate over whether there’s too much sex in TV and movies these days. The discourse — which largely lives online and tends to skew younger — spans everything from the supposedly gratuitous amount of “unnecessary” sex scenes in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer (there are just two) to the recycled “Euphoria should have been set in college” take that goes viral on Twitter every other month to teens unintentionally advocating for the reinstatement of the Hays Code.
