Welcome to the March 19, 2015 edition of Outrage Watch, HitFix's (almost) daily rundown of all the things folks are peeved about in entertainment. Today's top story: Ellen DeGeneres is on board with Elton John's Dolce and Gabbana boycott while Zoe Saldana...isn't, apparently. "No! Not at all," she told E! News on the GLAAD Awards red carpet when asked if she would be boycotting the designers after the two came out against gay adoption and in vitro fertilization in an interview with Italian magazine Panorama. "That would be the stupidest thing if it affected my fashion choice...People are allowed to their own opinion, however, I wouldn't have chosen to be so public about something that's such a personal thing." The "Avatar" actress added later: "Obviously it caused some sensitivity, but then again if you continue to follow the news, you see they all kinda hugged it out, so why...

After a court hearing last week, former Worldview Entertainment CFO Hoyt David Morgan continues to keep the heat on his former company for allegedly reneging on a deal to give him an executive producer credit on Birdman as well as pay him back $2.7 million. On Tuesday, New York Supreme Court Judge Eileen Rakower nixed arbitration in the case, refused to dismiss Worldview co-founder Maria Cestone from the lawsuit, and, while making Morgan put up a $1 million bond, kept a restraining order in place that freezes payouts to some of the Birdman's producers. The rulings come after

Worldview Entertainment, one of the production companies behind the buzzworthy film Birdman, is entangled in an escalating legal mess that has gone from one former executive's claim of being denied an executive producer credit on the Alejandro González Iñárritu film to new allegations filed this past Friday that former CEO Christopher Woodrow has embezzled money from the company. Birdman stars Michael Keaton as a washed-up actor trying to mount a comeback on Broadway and escape the superhero role that made him famous. In late July, former Worldview CFO Hoyt David Morgan quietly filed a lawsuit in New York Supreme

There is such a thing as putting too much of one’s self into something. Wish I Was Here, the new Zach Braff film that was partially funded by Kickstarter, is sort of the kind of film you’d expect from him. Unfortunately, the movie does nothing truly innovative and a moving second half can’t save a film that’s all over the place.
Wish I Was Here is a film about the Bloom family. Aiden (Zach Braff) is a 30 something father of two who is chasing after his dream of being an actor. It’s not working out well for him however (he’s months out of his last gig, a dandruff commercial) and this is putting a strain on his family. His wife (Kate Hudson) is working a dead-end job with a creepy coworker, his two children are defiant, and his father...

Eli Roth is set to direct his first full length feature film since Hostel II, The Green Inferno, which is based on the 1980 Italian movie Cannibal Holocaust. The story follows an "idealistic student and a group of naive do-gooders who are captured by cannibalistic Indios after their plane crash lands in the Peruvian jungle."
The full cast for the film has been announced, and Roth is ready to put them to work in some crazy conditions! He will be shooting the film near a remote native village located on the Amazon river in Peru. This place has no electricity or running water. The director took a small film crew to the village to get permission to shoot there from the locals, and while they were there they showed the residents there their first movie. The movie he ended up showing them was Cannibal Holocaust, and guess what? The natives thought it was hilarious!

Some of the adventure in the field of movie making means bringing things to the screen that no one has ever seen before. Sort of like what the character of Carl Denham had in mind with King Kong. That being said, consider Eli Roth another adventurer!
Roth recently told Movieline that he’s taking a small crew to a remote village up the Amazon River that has “no electricity, no running water, nothing.” For the privilege of filming in this unseen territory, “We’re giving these people a boat," says Roth. "They have no contact with the outside world and we’re giving them a motorboat and we’re giving them medical supplies and school supplies so they’re ecstatic. The one thing they need is a boat. They were like, ‘This will literally change our lives’.”
Given that these folks had never seen a movie before, Roth arranged a screening for them of.

Together they try to find a path to redemption and the hope for a better life in the rugged, dirty world of small-town Mississippi. Lisa Muskat, Gordon Green and Worldview CEO Christopher Woodrow will produce alongside Derrick Tseng. Worldview’s Molly Conners, Maria Cestone, Sarah Johnson Redlich...
