The Loveloud concert will be held on August 26, 2017 in Orem, Utah at the Brent Brown Ballpark at Uvu.
“I want the Loveloud concert to engage a passionate and supportive audience in the fight against teen suicide and to bring communities together to start the conversation and celebrate individuality,” said Imagine Dragons singer Dan Reynolds. “We want to offer hope to young people, let them know they’re not alone and encourage acceptance in the home and community.”
One of the most troubling issues with a lack of communication or an absence of acceptance amongst young people in the Lgbtq+ community is teen suicide. The numbers are staggering. Consider the following:

Imagine Dragons, Neon Trees and The Moth and The Flame teamed up to save the life of Corey Fox — a Provo, Utah, concert venue owner who helped them all get their start in the music industry.
When Fox, owner of Velour Live Music Gallery, had chronic kidney failure and desperately needed a new organ, the bands took time off from their tours to throw a benefit concert in April 2016. They raised funds to assist with the transplant and venue costs during his recovery.
And Fox’s donor actually played in the show.

The world may be missing Neon Trees a bit, but frontman Tyler Glenn is trying to remedy the pain by releasing solo material of his own. While Glenn’s vocals are undeniably Neon Trees-esque, the music he’s singing along to is far more interesting and more inventive than anything we’ve seen from his band in quite a while. His upcoming album, Excommunication, shows another side of his musical talent, and it’s a sound that isn’t hard to get used to listening to on a regular basis.
With his newly released song, “Gates,” Glenn turns down the tempo compared to previous tracks like “Trash” or the disco-anthem, “G.D.M.M.L. Grls.” “Gates” is a slow burn pop song that shines more in its verses than it does in its chorus, which is unlike what we usually see from him.

With each song that Tyler Glenn releases from his upcoming solo album, it’s getting harder and harder to really miss music from Neon Trees. The Neon Trees vocalist is doing something much different – and arguably better – with his solo career, and he just released another new song that shows how serious he’s taking the new venture.
Glenn will be dropping his debut solo album, Excommunication, on October 21st, and the songs that have been released thus far pretty much sound like Neon Trees juiced up with steroids. Today’s song, “G.D.M.M.L Grls,” which stands for “God didn’t make me like girls,” is an upbeat dance number backed by a powerful message – 80’s-influenced drums and guitar tones loom in background as Glenn sings about being gay growing up in the church. Overall, it’s remarkably candid and unapologetic – but that’s always been Glenn’s personality from the start,...

Among the numerous festivals that take place during the month of July, Lollapalooza may be the historically richest. Having taken place off and on in different formats since 1991, the event series has succeeded in propelling a variety of artists into the mainstream spotlight. While superstar DJ/producer Kaskade may not necessarily be one of them, he does hail from the festival’s hometown of Chicago – and he played a set at this year’s installment that absolutely brought the house down.
We haven’t exactly been celebratory of all of Kaskade’s recent material, but when it comes to tearing it up on the decks, his recent performance demonstrates that he still knows how to get a crowd hopping. Studded with favorites like “Room for Happiness” and “Atmosphere,” the mix did contain a few of his less-deserving tracks – like his remix of Jack Ü’s “Where Are Ü Now,” for instance.

On Thursday, June 26, Logo will honor those groundbreaking advocates who have helped the Lgbt community make incredible strides this year with the network’s first-ever Trailblazers special. The inaugural event will honor Edie Windsor and Roberta Kaplan, plaintiff and attorney in the landmark Supreme Court case that finally brought federal recognition of gay marriages.

Windsor lost her wife, Thea Spyer, in 2009 and because of the federal “Defense of Marriage Act” (Doma) the couple wasn’t recognized as married by the federal government. Thus, Windsor would have been required to pay more than $360,000 in estate taxes– a potential injustice affecting all Lgbt domestic partners thanks to Doma. To fight this injustice, Windsor filed suit in Windsor v. United States. Attorney Roberta Kaplan and her firm Paul Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison to the case Pro Bono.

“Frozen” continues its supremacy atop the Billboard 200 next week as the Disney soundtrack continues to outpace its nearest competitor 2 to 1. Look for “Frozen” to sell up to 110,000 copies next week, twice that of Iggy Azalea’s “The New Classic,” which will bow at No. 2 (55,000). Also bowing in the Top 10 next week will be Future’s “Honest” at No. 3 (50,000) and Neon Trees’ “Pop Psychology” at No. 7 (20,000). Otherwise, the rest of the Top 10 consists primarily of holdovers from this week. We're down to six on "American Idol" and the singers are doing double-duty on Wednesday (April 23) night. Alex, Jena, Caleb, Cj, Jessica and Sam will each sing one song dubbed "Country" and another song deemed "Rock." Two quick thoughts: 1) Dexter Roberts picked the wrong week to go home. If ever a theme would have helped ease Dexter along in his "Idol" genre, this would have been it. 2) For all of the Judges' Save thing, this week's theme seems to doom Sam Woolf, doesn't it? I continue to suspect that Jena, Caleb and Alex are in their own voting class. And of the remaining three singers, who can pretty much go home in any order as far as I'm concerned, two of them can be comfortably classed in a country-rock niche and the other one is Sam Woolf. Either we're about to see some impressive theme cheating from Sam, or else he's doomed before he begins.

Los Angeles - Neon Trees' new album "Pop Psychology" drops today, and just a month ago, frontman Tyler Glenn came out as gay. According to Glenn, fans are going to hear a lot of intersection of the latter in the former. Speaking to me from the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards this month, Glenn said that a lot of lyrics from "Pop Psychology" came from "therapy sessions... it feels very cathartic." His advice to those who are closeted is that "it's Ok to be scared" though "it's the best thing I've done in a long time." "I know how it feels," Glenn continued. "Tweet me if you need a friend." Watch the rest of the video above for Glenn's tips on keeping your voice and watching out for those hard-partying nights.

Out caught up with Tyler Glenn of Neon Trees to see how he’d fared after his coming out. The good news is pretty well. Lot’s of encouragement, and very little negative. He even got some positive responses from the Lds. Just coming out to one person last year helped him. “When I heard this loving congratulations, it flipped my world around.” He does say that he’s deleted all his gay dating apps from his phone because he fears naked pictures getting out. His app of choice? Growlr.
Which Looney Tunes character are you? It says I’m Bugs Bunny, which doesn’t suck, but I’d hoped to be Marvin the Martian to match my tattoo and many of my holiday decorations.

Glenn came out to fans in Rolling Stone on Monday, and followed up with a Facebook post that details his relationship with music as a catalyst to go public. "I'd be the 50-yr-old living with dogs hiding my relationships living on a beach somewhere. Maybe then I'd be comfortable with it," he writes. "But it was last summer, writing songs for the new album, being so fed up with 'hiding' and being so ready to be...

His flamboyant stage antics and in-your-face fashion sense has set him apart in the pop music world, and now Tyler Glenn has a big revelation.
The Neon Trees frontman told Rolling Stone magazine that despite his conservative Mormon upbringing, he’s known he was gay since he was six years old.
Glenn explained, "I don't know what the rumors are, but we're not taught that 'homos are going to hell' on Sunday in church. Mostly it's just about Christ and his teachings."
And while he’s unapologetic about his sexual orientation, Tyler is a bit concerned that his hometown fans in Provo, Utah will be upset about his revelation- "I hope they don't feel like we're pulling the rug out from under them.”
After high school, Glenn actually went on a 2-year Mormon mission to strengthen his faith. "I was like, 'I'm 18, I'm either going to go to college, which...

Though it's stirred up quite the controversy, there's one thing you have to admit: Katy Perry's "Roar" is super catchy. So it doesn't really come as a surprise that Max Schneider decided to put his own twist on it.
Strumming his ukulele (we're sensing a theme here this week), the YouTube star has taken the feel-good anthem and combined it with Neon Trees' "Animal," creating a magical mashup medley. While it's not quite on the same level as this 9-year-old's amazing version, we love us a good Max Schneider medley. Watch in the video above.
Happy listening!
What do you think of Max's mashup medley? What your favorite "Roar" cover so far? Tell us in the comments below, or tweet @HuffPostTeen!

First up, the bad news: there is a noticeable lack of AC/DC on the "Iron Man 3" soundtrack. I guess the people behind the album figured that nothing could top the show-stopping inclusion of "Shoot To Thrill" in "Marvel's the Avengers" (one of the best moments in a film comprised entirely of best moments).
The good news is that this album has a healthy mix of selections from indie rock and alternative bands, including critical darlings Passion Pit and hot band Neon Trees. Check out the full tracklist and album art below.
1. "Ready Aim Fire" – Imagine Dragons
2. "Some Kind of Joke" – Awolnation
3. "Some Kind of Monster" – Neon Trees
4. "American Blood" – Passion Pit
5. "No Time" – Rogue Wave
6. "One Minute More" – Capital Cities
7. "Back To The Start"– Mr Little Jeans
8. "Keep Moving" – Andrew Stockdale (of Wolfmother)
9. "Redemption" – Redlight King
10. "Big Bad Wolves" – Walk The Moon
11. "Bad Guy" – 3Oh!
