12. Chris Soules
Our small town farm boy hero Chris Soules didn’t have a very dramatic season, all things considered, but he’s been rocked by scandal after his time on TV. In April 2017, Soules rear-ended a man on a tractor who later died. He was charged with leaving the scene of a fatal car crash, according to the Des Moines Register. The outlet reported in March that Soules was “appealing the Iowa Supreme Court’s recent decision not to consider the merits of the charge against him.”
11. Jesse Palmer
Back in Season 5, the early, early days of the long-standing franchise, Jesse’s season was billed as the “most dramatic ever!” Even though by now much more dramatic events have happened on “The Bachelor,” Jesse did at one point call out the wrong woman’s name at the Rose Ceremony and had his best friend’s wife posing as a contestant.

On March 25, 2002, ABC introduced to the world a show that took one man’s search for Ms. Right and, with the help of some alleged post-production trickery and the casting of some beyond wackadoo hopefuls, turned it into a reality-tv phenomenon which has since spawned multiple STDs spin-offs.
We’re of course talking about The Bachelor, which on this day marks its 15th anniversary.
VideosRachel Lindsay Confirmed as First Black Bachelorette
Since inaugural suitor Alex Michel, the ABC franchise has helped 19 other eligible bachelors on their quest for “true love,” most recently bringing together Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi in the Season 21 finale.

Our top moments of the week:
14. Worst Icing on the Cake: On Part 1 of the season finale of The Real Housewives of Orange County, new housewife Heather Dubrow throws a name party for herself to celebrate taking her husband's last name. We're still not sure exactly why the cake at said party so greatly symbolizes her name change, but Heather gets her frosted pink bow in a big twist when Alexis Bellino's friend, Sarah, eats a part of the bow before the cake is cut. Sarah apologizes, then calls Heather fake and pretentious before Heather hands her an Oreo cookie to satisfy her sugar craving. Who knew a cake with so much frosting could leave such a sour taste....

On part one of "The Real Housewives Of Orange County" (Tue., 9 p.m. Et on Bravo) Season 7 Finale the ladies gathered for Heather Dubrow's party.
The star attraction at the party was Heather's splendid cake. Shaped like a pile of elaborately wrapped gifts, it was topped with a pink bow and looked suitably magnificent until ... someone broke off a piece.
Alexis' friend Sarah simply helped herself to a piece of the bow and ate it, thus innocently setting off a chain of events that will henceforth be known in "Rhoc" history as "Bow-Gate."
Heather was aghast. "She goes and defiles my cake? What is wrong with this girl?" the enraged host asked.
When Tamra confronted Sarah and asked why she'd eaten the bow, the cake defiler said, "Because I wanted to."
And when grilled by Heather, Sarah asked the question that was doubtless on many viewers' lips: "You're mad about a bow?...

Anyone else having déjà vu after Tuesday's (April 10) episode of "The Real Housewives of Orange County"? It surely made some fans at least a little nostalgic for "The Dinner Party from Hell" from Season 1 of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."
New O.C. Housewife Heather Dubrow decides to get the girls and their guys together for a bowling and "champs" (er, champagne) party, and Gretchen Rossi invites a guest -- Sarah Winchester. Sarah's stint at the party makes her out to be a rabble-rouser fueled by alcohol, which sounds a lot like someone else "Housewives" fans know -- electronic-cigarette-smoking Allison DuBois, who stirred up major drama among "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" when she was invited to Camille Grammer's pizza and (really strong) cocktail party in Season 1.
Vicki Gunvalson and boyfriend Brooks Ayers arrive at Heather's party, and everything's going swimmingly. Vicki even exchanges hugs and...

The "Bachelor" girls pack up and head for a resort in Park City, Utah. The first one-on-one date is for Rachel, the blonde with the nose stud. Kacie's a sad panda about the other girls getting dates. She says the thought of Ben spending a whole day with someone else drives her crazy. She wants the experience to be over and the two of them just doing normal stuff together, like going to the grocery store.
I love you, Kacie, I really do - but did you not understand how this show works? Also, even if you're dating, he might spend time with other people. Stop sounding like a crazy girl who wants to kidnap him and make a doll out of his hair or something.
Rachel's Date
They leave on a helicopter and the girls freak out. Uh, was there a production assistant just off-screen poking at them with an electrified cattle prod?...

The winter TV drought is over! A whole crop of new shows are premiering this week and many more new and old favorites are back from hiatus. Whatever you choose to watch this week, just don't let it be "Work It" on Tuesday ... otherwise ABC might be tempted to make more.
Monday, January 2
"The Bachelor" (8 p.m. Est, ABC) season premiere
Winemaker Ben Flajnik is the lucky (if dull) bachelor seeking a second chance at love after falling short of winning Ashley Herbert's heart during last season's "The Bachelorette." Twenty-five women will enter the mansion, including one enthusiastic senior citizen named Sheryl, a sexy equestrian who arrives on horseback, and an athletic soccer player. But which 18 will make it through to next week?
"Hoarders" (9 p.m. Est, A&E) season premiere

"Real Housewives" franchise has been a guilty pleasure for its viewers, but it may not give a lot of lessons. Frustrated with the Bravo reality series, evangelist Ty Adams creates "The Real Housewives of the Bible" which is claimed to be a religious version of the hit shows.
"A lot of society is looking towards programming to educate them on relationships and these shows haven't effectively done that," Adams said. "They have ruined and tainted our ability to secure good relationships and to make women into good wives."
The two-part DVD series, due out later this month, follows six women dealing with the ups and downs of marriage as they strive to be good wives. Each of them bears similarity to a different woman from the Bible, including a woman who struggles with infertility like biblical Sarah, and a gold-digging woman like Delilah from the Book of Judges.

Former "Bachelor" and current host/commenter on syndicated medical talk show "The Doctors" Dr. Travis Stork is off the market. People reports that Stork proposed to his girlfriend Dr. Charlotte Brown while on a recent Hawaiian vacation.
Stork currently travels back and forth between working at the Vanderbilt hospital in Nashville, Tn and taping "The Doctors" several days a week. He told Zap2it back in November that "It's not a lifestyle that you can sustain forever.
"I'm still young, I still have a lot of good energy," he laughs. "It allows me to have a really nice balance, it's been great. I'm hosting this show I'm very proud of, but when I go back home it's so low-key and normal. It's a gift."
He also told us of his time on "The Bachelor" that he has nothing but good memories.
"I just saw Sarah (Stone), whom I chose, last week.

There’s something especially horrifying about The Bachelor‘s “Women Tell All” episode. It’s like watching an hour of Oprah‘s “Favorite Things,” only with Chris Harrison as the ringleader, and instead of getting excited about free merchandise, the audience roars its approval as a small group of women turn on one of their own, pulling the verbal equivalent of stoning her in the public square.
On Monday night’s episode, it was single mom Michelle who spent the most time in the “hot seat” (aka The Bachelor equivalent of the stocks). But a funny thing happened as hardened bartender Stacey,...

Fox enjoyed its most watched Monday night of the 2010-11 TV season to date, as House won the 8 o’clock hour and Lie To Me delivered its best numbers in well over a year.
House kicked off the night with an audience of 10.44 million total viewers, and a 3.7 rating in the 18-to-49 demo (up 6 percent week-to-week). Lie To Me in turn scored 7.66 million viewers (its best audience since October 2009) and a 2.4 rating (representing a 14-month high).

'Cake Boss: Next Great Baker' (9Pm, Tlc) season 1 finale
It's down to the final challenge in this 'Cake Boss' spin-off (which was recently renewed for a second season), meaning either Dana, Corina or Megan will walk away with $50,000 in cash, a new car and an apprenticeship with Buddy Valastro at his Carlo's Bake Shop in New Jersey. There's no real frontrunner heading into the finale; though Dana may have made fewer missteps than his competitors, several challenges throughout the season saw the whole pool turn out such sloppy cake and decorating work that it felt like all of them should have been sent home. Here's hoping the final three really step up their game and prove they deserve that big prize, though we think Buddy is gonna have his mentoring work cut out for him no matter who ends up as the next great baker.

The first walk-out on "The Bachelor" this season happened on Monday, January 17. Madison Garton, the 25-year-old model from Vail, Colorado did not want to receive the rose that Brad Womack was about to offer. Madison is also the girl who stood out from the rest when she revealed her vampire fangs in the beginning of the season.
Madison earned a one-on-one time with Brad during a cocktail party where she revealed to him that she took fellow contestant Emily's story to heart. Emily told the girls that her lover, Nascar driver Ricky Hendrick, died in a plane crash and she found out that she was pregnant with his baby shortly after the tragedy.
Madison said she wanted people like Emily to find her way to Brad's heart and in that case, she would thin out the competition. Brad said she didn't have to take the rose if she didn't feel like it.

On the latest "Bachelor" episode, it's the episode of Sad Stories. It's like the girls are on "Queen for a Day," where they have to relay the horrible things that have happened to them in order to win a Maytag washer and dryer Brad Womack's heart.
And (spoiler alert!) Emily is "Queen for a Day." Twice.
Ashley's Date
The first date card is for Ashley S., the 12-year-old First Impression Rose girl or Ashley With the Dead Dad. There are many things about her that annoy us, hopefully Brad figures that out and sends her packing.
At Capitol Records, they record "Kiss From a Rose." Ughhhh. We enjoy that song -- you know, if it's 1995. And if it's not being sung by people who sound like manatees in the throes of passion. The redeeming part of this trainwreck of a date is that Seal is there to perform...
And (spoiler alert!) Emily is "Queen for a Day." Twice.

Tonight on "The Bachelor," the drama queens take a hike and everyone's favorite couple Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez come back!
We kick things off with Chris Harrison explaining everything to the girls. He advises them to use time with Brad wisely. Is that his euphemistic way of telling them to put out? The first date card he gives them is for Ashley H., who is the other Ashley, as in not Ashley with the Dead Dad. Ashley Wtdd looks sad the date card was not for her.
Melissa the Waitress informs us she's been thinking about doing "The Bachelor" for eight years, she bought a bunch of gowns and dresses for the show and she quit her job. Umm ... yikes. Are you at all familiar with this show?!
Ashley H. Date
They drive off into the woods and Brad stops the car, they walk and then ... he kills her and buries the body.

Brad Womack officially got a second chance at finding his soul mate through "The Bachelor". On the January 3 premiere, the bachelor faced the consequence of rejecting both the final two women in season 11. Not only DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft were back to confront him, but also some of the new bachelorettes gave him a hard time.
Chantal O'Brien was the first girl to come out of the limo and she gave Brad a good smack on the face. Pappas was also being hard on him, saying "It is real hard for someone to get to the real part of me. So for me the final day was brutal because I felt the one person that I trusted most let me down."
Nevertheless, Brad got through the ordeal and managed to narrow it down to 20 and gave the first impression rose to Ashley Spivey, a 26 years old nanny who lost her dad last year.

Here we are, gang. Brad Womack is back on "The Bachelor." Let's get right to the action. And just a word of caution: Please do not put spoilers in the comments. Those comments will be deleted. Thank you.
The opening montage where Chris Harrison calls this "already one of the most dramatic seasons" and Brad shows us his poor, lonely existence while he "watches" the finale of his first season is a little much, even for this show.
The contemplative shots of him alone are giggle-fit inducing -- here's Brad watching the rain ("it's rainy, just like my soul"), here's Brad standing by a field ("I'm sad but strong"), here's Brad shirtless on a bridge ("should I jump or go on 'The Bachelor' again?"), here's Brad and his therapy issues ("Daddy!"), here's Brad and his nieces and nephews ("bring on the single moms!"), here's Brad working out ("ripple ripple"). Sheesh.

After suffering panic attacks and hitting rock bottom after refusing to choose a wife in the finale of Season 11 of "The Bachelor," Brad Womack was once again looking for love on the ABC reality show Monday night. Read on for the spoiler-filled recap! He recalled the dark moments he faced after rejecting both Jenni Croft and DeAnna Pappas. "When I got back [home] to Austin, I was alone," Brad remembered. "I watched the finale and I [felt] like a jerk. … I started to think, 'What's wrong with me?'" Brad sought therapy, and analyzed his fear of commitment, realizing it stemmed from his childhood. He explained that his father let him down "more times [than he could] count." But he vowed to let himself be vulnerable, and, after apologizing to Jenni and Deanna, decided to give a field of 25 beautiful ladies a shot at vying for his heart once more. But if he thought it...

As a new year is upon us and in looking forward to the oncoming winter season of television I have to say there’s not a lot in the new offerings that I’m looking forward to.
Last year ABC made the decision to cut the show Flash Forward and instead continue on with the equally ratings challenged V. The programming choice was a shock to some, myself included, but I’m sure the network had some sound reasons for making their decision. It was disappointing for me since Flash Forward had actually upped its game in its final episodes with a new focus that made everything really come together. V never really had enough to hold my attention especially when you factor in the three episode premiere followed by a long break from the fall until the spring.
Tuesday marks the return of V and fans of the show...

"The Bachelor" is gearing up for Season 15. Brad Womack talked with Zap2it today about how he "did find love and [is] very happy." And now we can meet the 30 potential bachelorettes for him to court.
ABC says the opening night is full of fun, as "Chantal wastes no time with pleasantries and, in the name of women everywhere, slaps Brad on the face ... But there are those who have other things on their minds, as an emotional Melissa, a waitress who serves up plenty of drama, jumps into his arms and Ashley S., a sweet fun-loving girl, playfully grabs his rear end."
The 30 women are quickly whittled down to 20 after the first night. (Above, Brad is sitting with Jessica and Alli). The average age is 26.8 to Brad's 38 years, but he assures us that "age is just a number." Here are the ladies vying for Brad's affections:
Alli, 24, an apparel merchant from Columbus,...

It looks like we’ll be seeing a lot of Sarah in nature on her new Alaskan themed show. We miss the more amusing, and intelligent, ‘Housewives’ already!
It will be more about core values and less about bankrupt wives flipping tables on Sarah Palin’s new reality show. An article in today’s La Times quoted Tlc president Eileen O’Neill who said, “We tend to be less snarky, edgy. There’s something for everyone here. We do shoot all around the country. Our topics and people tend to represent a lot of daily American lives.” Like the daily American life of Tlc star Kate Gosselin, a woman who has 8 children, a pothead ex husband, and recently appeared on one of America’s top rated reality show? That daily American life?

You don't need us to tell you that maintaining a relationship is not easy. Well, maintaining a relationship with TV cameras on is all but impossible. So we're not surprised by the breakup of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, not in the least. We present to you a list of other notorious, unlucky-in-love reality TV break-ups:
The Bachelors -- ABC's 'The Bachelor' is an entity unto itself when it comes to reality TV breakups. Simply put, the show has a terrible record of couples staying together. How bad? Try one for 14 (or two for 14 if you count Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney, technically a runner-up, from Season 13, which we won't).
The only Bachelor couple still on is the most recent, Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi, and frankly, we don't see that one lasting long. Most Bachelor couples, like Season 3's Jen Schefft and Andrew Firestone,...

Plus, talking with Louis Van Amstel, Jake's fear of ostriches, Daytime Emmys are a bust, Sofia Vergara's little friend, and finally someone asks if Mma isn't just a little gay!
Spurf™ asks a valid question: Since we’ve met Sue Sylvester’s sister, she needs parents. Who could possibly play her parents? I’m thinking Ed Asner as her dad, but all of my first choices for mom have passed away, like Bea Arthur or Dixie Carter. Ideas?
Glee’s Ryan Murphy has written a doozie of letter demanding a boycott of Newsweek over the horribly self-hating articles by Ramin Setoodeh. Which makes sense, since an editor somewhere agreed to publish the trash. It’s one thing for Setoodeh to basically admit that he can’t write if we don’t understand what he meant, but when my articles don’t make sense, Michael doesn’t publish them.

After spotted enjoying a romantic dinner together, Keanu Reeves and Charlize Theron shared a more intimate scene. The rumored couple was seen embracing and further lip locking following their dinner at Bouchon in Beverly Hills, California, on Monday night, May 3, TMZ reported.
In a photo provided by the site, Reeves and Theron, who waited for the valet, were caught sharing an intimate goodbye hug with the 34-year-old actress landing her hands beneath the 45-year-old actor's jacket. Furthermore, in a video given by the site, the two shared an intimate kiss before driving home separately.
Back in January, Theron ended her relationship with Stuart Townsend whom she has dated for nine years. Meanwhile, Reeves previously had a relationship with American actress Jennifer Syme, who was killed in a car accident in April 2001.

Another "Bachelor" couple bites the dust. Charlie O'Connell has called it quits with his chosen lady love Sarah Brice from Season 7 of the popular ABC dating show.
O'Connell tells People, "Sarah and I actually just broke up ... I think it was a mutual break-up. The thing is that we dated for five years ... and [were] just arguing over the same things and stuff like that. And then eventually you've got to go your separate ways."
This is actually the second break-up for the couple. They went their separate ways back in 2007 but later reunited and were featured as one of the "Bachelor" franchise couples during the March 8 broadcast of Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney's wedding. HIlariously, O'Connell kept talking about buying a house, while Sarah kept reiterating not until she had a ring on her finger.

Having announced the lion's share of its 2010-11 development slate during the Television Critics Assn. press tour, Oxygen Media had few significant surprises in store for its upfront presentation Tuesday. But if the sales pitch was short on intrigue, network brass kept things lively with moxie and research.
On the heels of Oxygen's most successful quarter since it launched a decade ago, Gm Jason Klarman talked up the recent ratings gains and advertising-sales momentum. Speaking before an audience that included NBC Universal president and CEO Jeff Zucker, Klarman said the network closed first-quarter 2010 at No. 18 in primetime among women 18-34, averaging 115,000 members of the demographic. Before NBC Uni acquired the network, a much older-skewing Oxygen averaged about 53,000 women 18-34, according to Nielsen ratings data.

From a margarita machine in the house to which "Bachelor" required $20,000 of dental work -- the "20/20" special, "Inside The Bachelor: The Stories Behind the Rose," revealed surprising secrets about the hit ABC reality franchise, including, do the couples really get intimate on the show? A show producer divulged that bachelor Matt Grant underwent $20,000 of dental work before making his debut on the show, while it was also revealed on the program that there is a margarita machine on the premises of the house where contestants live during filming. And when it comes to intimacy, "Bachelor" producer Mike Fleiss said that the "average guy has s** with three women throughout the course of the show." The special amicably reunited Brad Womack and the woman he jilted, Deanna Pappas. “The Bachelor” has been busy playing matchmaker. On last week’s season finale, Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi got engaged. On a special episode this week, Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney exchanged vows after falling in love on last year’s controversial edition. The guest list included many familiar faces, including happy couples from “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” history. Jason and Molly cordially invited viewers to their wedding at Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA on February 27. Molly said the “wedding is a really big thank you to the people who have stood by us the last year; a celebration of the fact that Jason and I love each other and we’re going strong.” Once the cameras stopped documenting their daily life, Molly and Jason continued dating long distance for 10 months. Jason was in Seattle to be with his son Ty, while Molly stayed in Wisconsin. The geographical distance was hard to cope with,...

Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney are the first "Bachelor" couple to walk down the aisle.
The actual wedding was Saturday, Feb. 27, but the wedding aired Monday night (March 8) on ABC. It was a two-hour extravaganza that included a lot of familiar "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" faces.

Ed and Jillian seem to be doing alright and are also apparently headed towards their own trip down the aisle. Finally, DeAnna Pappas and Stephen Stagliano are dating -- he is the twin brother of Michael Stagliano from Jillian's season. Huh.

"The Bachelor"'s Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney [now Mesnick] got married in a lavish ceremony on Saturday, Feb. 27 in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif. The event will be televised on Monday night for fans of the ABC dating series to see -- but first, Et talks to the happy couple to get the inside scoop on their big day. "I was thinking about this earlier -- and it is too bad you guys won't get to see this -- but literally, a minute before Molly walked out, [my son] Ty tackled me and I had this huge moment with Ty. It was all emotional, and then I took him to his seat. Then Molly came out and I started crying all over again," Jason tells Et. There is an old saying that rain on your wedding day is a lucky omen. Let's hope so, because it poured the afternoon that "The Bachelor" couple took their vows.

Ready to watch Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney of "The Bachelor" walk down the aisle?
Then tune in to ABC on Monday, March 8 for a two-hour special highlighting the arrangements, the dress fitting, the bachelor/ bachelorette parties and the ceremony.
According to ABC, many past "Bachelor" couples, stars and participants will be in attendance. It should be a ratings coup for ABC -- the wedding of Trista and Ryan from the first season of "The Bachelorette" drew over 17 million viewers.
This would be only the second "Bachelor" franchise couple to get married to each other, though reportedly Charlie O'Connell and Sarah Brice and Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski are engaged.
Our only question is: Is Melissa Rycroft invited?
