UK Celebrity Big Brother fans got an eyeful of famed drag queen Courtney Act Friday night on live TV ... as her skirt suddenly tore away during her big entrance. The show's debut -- always a huge event on English TV -- was airing on BBC when Court strolled down a grand staircase, and then shockingly lost it all. With no underwear for safety, the broadcast cut away to a super-wide overhead camera angle ... while Courtney scrambled for the skirt.

Having a conversation with drag stars Trixie Mattel and Katya Zamolodchikova (real names Brian Firkus and Brian McCook, respectively) is kind of like being on an extended episode of their YouTube webseries, UNHhhh. You may start talking with them about one topic, but the next thing you know, they’re off on a tangent about why Bart Simpson says “Eat my shorts.”
It’s that brand of strange, out-of-left-field comedy that landed the two their very own talk show, The Trixie & Katya Show on Viceland, after becoming breakout stars on season seven ofRuPaul’s Drag Race. The show follows a similar format to their YouTube series; they take one topic every week and examine it through personal stories, games, man-on-the-street segments and more.
In a conversation with Et, Trixie and Katya discuss going from YouTube to Viceland, their experience competing on VH1’s reality series, why they want to talk about serious issues like suicide and much, much...

The competition series RuPaul's Drag Race, which pits top drag queens against one another across a series of fabulous, colorful challenges, is having a moment. It drew record ratings for its season nine finale and hauled in its first-ever crop of Emmy nominations a few weeks later.
Meanwhile, on platforms like YouTube, some of the queens who have appeared on Drag Race are finding big audiences for their vlogs, music videos, and other pieces of glammed-up content. Now, three of those performers, spurned on by their digital successes, are hitting the road. Willam, Alaska Thunderfuck, and Courtney Act, each of whom count hundreds of thousands of subscribers on their respective YouTube channels, are the stars of The Aaa Girls, an upcoming tour presented by Fullscreen Live.

What can you say about Miley Cyrus' closing number at the 2015 Video Music Awards? There was a ridiculous death drop (thank you Laganja Estranja). There was a kiss with reigning "RuPaul's Drag Race" champion Violet Chachki. Oh, and yes, Ms. Vivacious looked a week bit tired, but chances are unless you're a fan of the only hit show on the Logo TV network you likely had no idea who those drag queens dancing around Ms. Cyrus were. Let us enlighten you. It turns out Cyrus is such a big fan of "Drag Race" and drag in general that she sat through taping of the season 7 finale this past May. She smartly put some of the better dancers around her on the front part of the stage including the previously mentioned Estranja, Alyssa Edwards (whose audio can be heard in Cyrus' new song "Dooo It!") and Shangela (a trio who...

Bianca Del Rio, known for her tell-it-like-it-is attitude, was crowned the winner of the sixth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Bianco Del Rio Wins RuPaul's Drag Race
Del Rio beat out both Courtney Act and Adore Delano for the title of America’s Next Drag Superstar and the $100,000 winnings. Though it was close between the final three, Del Rio had emerged as the one to beat – never having found herself in the bottom two and winning three separate challenges throughout the season.
“I feel like I am the luckiest entertainer in the world right now… it's an incredibly rewarding experience to have this honor and I'm proof that anything is possible,” Del Rio said in a statement following her win. “I extend my love and gratitude to the talented World of Wonder family, Logo TV, the amazing fans, and especially RuPaul. Ru, please remember to tell the IRS that my name is Pablo Sanchez.

The Queens have to star in the music video for Ru‘s “Sissy That Walk,” and the final three are chosen on this episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
So here we go … the final elimination before the finale. As usual, the Queens have to film a music video for a Ru song, this time around it’s “Sissy That Walk,” and they have to act in two scenes with Ru. And also, as usual, they have to sit down for Ru’s usual “Tic Tac” dinner, where they have to plead their individual cases.
So how did the Queens do? Let’s take a look.
Bianca Del Rio – Of course she’s into the final. If she doesn’t win, it’s only because Tptb want someone with more youthful marketability, perhaps a former reality show star? She was … almost flawless this time. It bears repeating. She nailed the two bits with Ru,...

A Kardashian and Bob Mackie guest judge, as the Queens have to present different runway looks on this episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
This week’s mini-challenge was a lot of fun, as the Queens have to put on a puppet show reading their fellow Dolls. DeLa wins, deservedly, for her spot-on Bianca interpretation (“Baloney!”), but I thought Adore also did a hilarious DeLa.
For the main challenge, the Queen have to present looks in three categories (banjee realness, platinum executive realness, and dripping in jewels eleganza). And they have to perform an Old Hollywood number.
So how did the Queens do? Let’s take a look, from winner to elimination.
Adore Delano – Well, it’s pretty obvious they want Adore for the final. She was the focus of tonight’s show, with her “epiphany” and Ru and Michelle blessing her blossoming. Um … okay. Her banjee look was perfect,...

Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka guest judge, as the Queens have to drag a wedding on this episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
This week’s mini-challenge was the most arbitrary of the season, as the Queens had to create a Twerk Of Art that represented marriage equality … by rolling around in paint on top of a canvas. All of the creations looked like … someone had rolled around in paint on top of a canvas, but somehow Ru saw something special in Bianca’s piece, so she got the win.
For the main challenge, Ru announces that he’s an ordained minister, and will be conducting marriage ceremonies on the main stage, and it’s up to the Queens to give drag makeovers (and act as the Drag Mothers) … but not to the brides-to-be, but the grooms, who are mostly varying degrees of Paul Bunyan.
So how did the Queens do?...

Here, in picture form, is why I've been unable to function whenever I tried to write about RuPaul's Drag Race
somehow the blurry screenshot seemed appropriate so i didn't try again
Laganja Estranja's bottomless need for attention coupled with her lack of deserving any but mostly her limitless capacity for meaningless affectation completely broke me. As did the epic 3 hours of episode last week -- 3 hours in one single night. Turns out that's enough glitter, saturated color, and aural assault to even give Baz Luhrmann pause. But mostly it was Laganja. If I could describe in writing the clucking, mouth popping, meaningless "words" issuing from her frosted lips I would but judge Michelle Visage summed it up brilliantly in a weirdly accurate gibberish approximation of Laganja's unprocessed non-integrated robotic regurgitation of every drag vocal affectation that the show has ever produced. <-- Good lord that last sentence was a mouthful.

The queens host their own talk shows on this episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race, with special guest judges ChadChaz Bono, Georgia Holt and Paula Abdul.
The mini-challenge is a lot of fun, as the Queens have to play hangmanhungman with the Scruff Pit Crew. I love that Adore gets “Hasselhoff” with just an “A” and the clue “Big In Germany.”

The Queens have to to shill Ru’s cosmetic line, and perform a standup routine on this week’s Double Episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 6 episode 8 begins with the queens still reeling from the non-elimination from 2 minutes ago. Joslyn has become disillusioned with Courtney Act because of how mean an condescending she’s being. BenDeLaCreme is relieved to still be around and other queens are happy she’s there. Some of their comments may be seen as being shady to Darienne, but it seems to not be so much about that. Darienne appears to be taking it that way, though. We’re down to 8 queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 6 episode 7. Let’s see, that’s an even number… Hmmm. How about working in pairs? How about RuPaul putting together the pairings so that the two queens that can’t stand each other the most are put together? Let’s do it! RuPaul is creating the Glamazon makeup line with ColorEvolution. The queens have to create a 30 second spot to market the makeup line. The pairs are, of course: Adore and Laganja targeting mean girls Courtney Act and Joslyn Fox targeting hot mamas Bianca and Trinity targeting glamorous working girls Darienne … Continue reading →

The queens are challenged to rap in a TLC-inspired 90s music video on this episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race, with special guest judges Trina and Eve.
Ru opens the library for the mini-challenge, and after the Queens read each other to varying degrees of success, the winner is not Bianca, as you’d probably expect, but Darrien, who seems to have been passed the bitter torch from the departed Gia Gunn.
The 90′s rap battle begins, and some stood out more than others. Here’s how the Queens did, from winner to elimination.
Adore Delano – Both Trina and Eve believe that Adore nailed the rap, and while I think that may be overpraise, I do agree that she was the … least incompetent, which is good enough. However, Michelle had to point out again that her runway look had problems. Still, it was enough to give Adore her first win.

It’s always the most eagerly anticipated episode of every season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, and this year’s “Snatch Game” featured the usual assortment of standouts and duds. How did each of the Queens fare? Let’s take a look, from winner to the worst.
BenDeLaCreme – She was a bit nervous about taking on Dame Maggie Smith, but she nailed the Snatch Game with her quips and retorts (and it helped that she had Trinity next to her to cluelessly set her up). She also had one of the better runway looks (the queens have to deliver their best RuPaul look), and she deserved the win, although I would have put her in a tie with …
Bianca Del Rio – I would have put her slightly over BenDeLaCreme’s Maggie Smith with her Judge Judy, as it was a perfect fit and she had a ball with it, but...

We didn’t get a chance to look at the first part of the Season Six premiere (you can see it here if you want to catch up), but this season of RuPaul’s Drag Race is looking too good to ignore.
Ru decided to shake things up this year by dividing the premiere into two parts, with seven queens introduced last week (Kelly Mantle was eliminated), and seven more this week. Also of note – No more immunity!
Let’s take a closer look at this week’s Dolls.
Bianca Del Rio
Strengths: Smart, sharp, biting
Weaknesses: Self-Proclaimed Clown. Can she glam it up enough?
Winning Potential: Definitely could be in final three, but can come off as cold and aloof.
Trinity K. Bonet
Strengths: “I’m as close as you’re gonna get to Beyonce”
Weaknesses: “I’m as close as you’re gonna get to Beyonce”
Winning Potential: Looks unseasoned,...

So said hostess with the mostess RuPaul, introducing the seven queens competing on Monday’s season 6 premiere, part one. Yep. You heard that right: Seven queens, part one. In an effort to shake it up like a stiff (no longer Absolut) cocktail, Ru changed the game for this edition of Drag Race. For starters, the premiere will take place over two weeks, with one batch of queens arriving the first week and facing elimination. The process will repeat next week because, as Ru put it, “The only thing better than...

Birthday shoutouts go to Brian Litrell (above), who is 39, Gloria Vanderbilt is 90, Rihanna is 26, Anthony Head is 60, Cindy Crawford is 48, and Sandy Duncan is 68.
We were thrilled when Nick Zano was cast as the male lead on NBC’s One Big Happy, and there’s more cause for celebration as his Happy Endings co-star Elisha Cuthbert has snagged the female lead. The show “centers on two platonic friends since childhood — a lesbian, Lizzy (Cuthbert), and her straight male best friend, Luke (Zano) — who have been living together and trying to have a baby via artificial insemination for some time. They finally get pregnant — just as Luke meets and impulsively marries the love of his life.”
Anderson Cooper Decides To Keep Recent Gay Conversion Therapy Private. It’ll never last, “Marie.”
