Exclusive: Fox, along with the rest of the broadcasters, is breathing a sigh of relief that new scripted programming will return for the second half of the 2023-2024 TV season. But, while difficult, the fall season wasn’t all bad.
To fill the airtime, Fox leaned on adult animation and unscripted programming — both of which put up positive numbers for the network. New series like Krapopolis put up promising numbers, while the return of Kitchen Nightmares and a second season of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test helped keep ratings steady this season.
While the upended fall schedule due to the dual strikes was “frustrating,” CEO of Fox Entertainment Rob Wade told Deadline that network’s “mindset quickly moved from frustration to seeing opportunity.”
Wade said that its priorities include being a “talent-first company,” as evidenced by striking a number of...

First, though, Wyatt broke a little news when moderator Josh Horowitz asked about his role in the upcoming Marvel movie Thunderbolts, which the actor said has not started shooting (“We have almost started shooting that about 14 times,” with strike-related delays) and he has not read a finished script.
Despite that, “I have confidence it’s gonna be good,” Wyatt told the New York crowd. “I know everybody is sort of on this Marvel train right now of things not going so well,” he said, but commended the film’s team, listing co-stars Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour and director Jake Schreier.

The Cleaning Lady has brought intrigue, action, and romance since it debuted on Fox in 2022.
The addicting crime drama was developed by Miranda Kwok and followed Thony De La Rhosa’s struggles in Las Vegas. Her young son had a rare blood disorder, and she couldn’t afford treatment unless she worked for the mob and they helped her.
During The Cleaning Lady Season 2, Thony grew even deeper into the crime world to save Luca, but that had severe consequences. While it was sometimes frustrating to see her make those mistakes and see others pay for them, we’re eager to see what’s next for everyone.
Luckily, Fox renewed The Cleaning Lady for a third season in February 2023.
“After two heart-pounding seasons, we’re thrilled with how audiences have latched on to this incredible story,” said Michael Thorn. Fox Entertainment President.

Goldie Hawn is setting the record straight on her relationship with Kurt Russell.
Despite being together for over 40 years, the two have never tied the knot. It’s a decision that comes out a desire for privacy than anything, according to the star.
“We had been married. And because when it doesn’t work out, it ends up to be a big business. Somebody has to own something. It’s always ugly,” she told anchor Chris Wallace on his show “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?” on Max and CNN. “Somebody has to actually take a look and say how many how many divorces are fun? How many divorces actually don’t cost money? How many divorces make you even hate the person more than you did before? How many divorces have hurt children?”

After nearly 40 years together, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell are one of Hollywood's most enduring couples. But while their relationship has spanned decades, they've never tied the knot, and that's just how Hawn likes it. In a July 14 interview on "Who's Talking to Chris Wallace?" on CNN and Max, "The First Wives Club" actor opened up about why marriage simply isn't right for her and her longtime partner.
During the interview, Wallace asked Hawn why she and Russell never married, and she was quick to respond. "Why should we get married? Isn't that a better question?" she countered. She then went on to elaborate, "Because we had been married. And because when it doesn't work out, it ends up to be a big business. Somebody has to own something. It's always ugly. Somebody has to actually take a look and say how many how many divorces are fun? How many divorces actually don't cost money?...

Spoiler alert! If you haven’t seen season 2, episode 4 of “And Just Like That”, proceed with caution.
Is “And Just Like That” finally hitting its stride? The “Sex and the City” reboot is four episodes into its sophomore season, and Thursday’s episode proved to be its best yet.
With Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) back in New York City, the original gang, including Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis), and honorary member Anthony Marantino (Mario Cantone), is able to meet up for lunch for some gossip and dirty talk, just like the old days.
There are quips about Miranda’s new fluid lifestyle with Anthony calling her “Rachel Maddow.” There are not-so-subtle euphemisms on Charlotte’s part — mayo, confetti, and a finale of fireworks (Happy July 4th!), no less — and at the heart of it, there’s the friendships fans of the original “Sex and the City...

Oliver Hudson couldn't help but troll younger sister Kate Hudson's risqué Instagram post - because what's a sibling relationship without the occasional roast? On May 30, Kate shared a series of poolside Memorial Day weekend photos wearing nothing but thong-style bikini bottoms and a straw hat. "Suns out, buns (and huns) out," she captioned the post, adding the hashtag "#summerready."
In the first picture, she poses topless in the backyard of her California home holding a book - soon-to-be-adapted bestseller "Lessons in Chemistry," for the bookworms - and in the last snap, she turns around to show off just how cheeky her swimsuit is. The Instagram gallery also includes peeks at her partner, Danny Fujikawa, and their 4-year-old daughter, Rani Rose.
Shortly after Kate posted the footage, her brother swooped in to tease her. "Jesus no Kate!" he commented, to which she responded, "Summers just begun Oliver… it's gonna get wild.

Just about everyone loves to follow Goldie Hawn's big, happy family. In addition to sharing countless pictures with longtime partner Kurt Russell and their kids on social media, the legendary actor also has six adorable grandchildren.
Hawn takes her role as grandma very seriously, telling Variety in March 2023 that she lives within biking distance of all her kids. That means her young grandchildren are staples in her life, like when they come over for movie nights.
These days, Hawn spends less time giving her children advice than she does her grandkids, telling Variety that her words of wisdom to them are, "You've got to work for a living, stay compassionate, and stay realistic." "I'm passing that on because that was what my father taught me: Stay in reality," she added. "Don't get taken away with everything."

It turns out there was some razzle dazzle before the razzle dazzle.
Back in 2003, “Chicago” rolled through the awards season on its way to that year’s best picture Oscar. But there’s a little-known subplot in the development of the Miramax film. Some 15 years before Renee Zellweger and Catherine Zeta-Jones shared the screen in the iconic movie adaptation of the Broadway musical, Harvey Weinstein had been developing a precursor version with Goldie Hawn and Madonna. "The Cleaning Lady" is based on "La Chica Que Limpia," an Argentine series about a woman named Rosa whose life is changed following a murder at the boxing gym she works as a cleaning lady. The American adaptation, described by the network as "a story of empowerment, resilience and the human spirit that asks us all if the ends justify the means," is led by French-Camobdian actress Élodie Yung ("Daredevil") and follows her character Thony De La Rosa.
