Dark, foreboding and rich with symbolism in existenalist discussion of life and death. Supernatural tones with strong character lead despite their very human flaws. One of nuanced Kinoko Nasu's work.

Epic space opera but it boils down to a storied rivalry of 2 men with very different personalities. Long but worth to watch for patient viewer.

Rich universe and stellar cast of people, based on history of Sengoku Jidai and World War 2. Lohengramm is Alexander and Rommel, Yang Wen Li is Montgomery and Epidominas as history examples in spirit.
