Showrunner Steven Moffat revealed to Radio Times that he has a big revelation planned for the upcoming Doctor Who Christmas special. (You might want to skip down if you want to be completely spoiler-free. However, I’d like to think that if he’s talking about it, there are bigger surprises to enjoy in the special.) Thanks to a botched regeneration by David Tennant‘s Doctor, Matt Smith‘s version is actually the 13th incarnation of the Doctor. According to Doctor Who lore, the Doctor is limited to 13 incarnations. Thus, transitioning to Peter Capaldi‘s Doctor will mean changing the rules of the show.
E! has renewed Hello Ross along with a couple of reality shows. Whenever I remember to set my DVR to record Ross Mathews‘ talk show, I enjoy it tremendously. I look forward to seeing more.

Actress Leah Remini is tearing it up in the "Dancing With the Stars" ballroom this season. Friday (Nov. 15), she stopped by "Hello Ross," where naturally he had to bring up her "Saved by the Bell" past.
"You lived my teen dream. You made out with Zack Morris. I want to claw your f***ing eyes out," jokes Ross, to which Remini fires right back, "Do it. Do it, b****."
Hee.
Remini also says that her Bff Jennifer Lopez has become obsessed with the show.
"She calls me and she's giving me the commentary -- what's happening here and why this, why is this one gone -- and I'm thinking she's calling about something else ... waiting for what the call's about, are we having dinner, our kids. And she's like, 'That's it, goodbye.' She's obsessed," says Remini.

John Oliver will be leaving The Daily Show to host an HBO show focused on mixing comedy and news as Oliver will get to mock the week on Sunday nights. (Does this mean he’ll air after The Newsroom? That should be a fun combination.) For you Daily Show fans who hoped Oliver’s guest-hosting run would lead to something bigger, how do you feel about it happening away from Comedy Central?
Last night, @Midnight wrapped a four-week trial run. That won’t be the end of the late night panel/quiz show, as Comedy Central has renewed the series for an additional forty weeks, as reported by Deadline. The bad news: new episodes don’t return until next year.
And yet, I’m not sure if I think we’ve achieved Chris Hardwick oversaturation on TV.
NBC has ordered 12 episodes of Working the Engels, a first-time co-production between U.

And I don’t think I’m going to change that.”
Meanwhile, Scandal‘s audience is heavily female. However, Vulture argues why more men should be watching with comparisons to guy-skewing shows like 24, Mad Men and Breaking Bad.

Tina Fey has sold another comedy, this one starring The Office alum Ellie Kemper as a woman starting over in New York City after leaving a doomsday cult. NBC has already ordered 13 episodes.
Deadline reports that PBS has picked up Vicious, a hit British comedy where Ian McKellen and Derek Jacobi play a bickering couple who are nearing their 50th anniversary. I can’t wait.
I hope this is as good as it sounds on paper.
It would be a big deal if George Romero would be involved in The Walking Dead so, naturally, the show has tried to get him involved for an episode or two. So far, he’s refused because he’s been disappointed in the drama explaining, “… it’s just a soap opera with a zombie occasionally. Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner, stars of E! reality show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," recently announced their separation -- and if you haven't gotten enough of it yet, just wait a few months and it'll air on TV.
"'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' will continue to show Kris and Bruce's issues," a source tells People. "Let's be honest -- almost everything in Kris' life is on television! They are living separately, but a lot of things won't change. And just as they showed Khloe and Lamar's issues, they will do the same with Kris and Bruce."
Basically, we'll get to watch all the drama play out twice, gang. Aren't you excited?
Meanwhile, Jenner recently appeared on "Hello Ross" with Ross Mathews and some of the audience questions that couldn't be fit into the broadcast were put online:

Ross Mathews, formerly known as "Ross the Intern" on "The Tonight Show," has launched his own talk show on E! and one of his first guests was none other than Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow.
The two became friends after Paltrow saw one of his bits on "The Tonight Show" and it made her laugh, so when she spotted him working a red carpet, she expressed her enjoyment of him, he gave her his email address and the rest is history -- they've been friends ever since.
When Paltrow recently stopped by his new talk show, "Hello Ross," she fielded some questions both from Mathews and the audience:
Who was your celebrity crush when you were growing up?

Justin Long has sold a comedy series idea to NBC, according to Deadline. The series would star Long as a thirtysomething man married to an older woman with a teen child.

Dominion, the Syfy pilot based on the movie Legion has started with a cast that’s at least fairly gay-adjacent. At least, I associate them with some fairly gay shows. Christopher Egan (remember the David character from Kings, I know by now we mostly remember the cast as Sebastian Stan and … not Sebastian Stan) is the soldier who realizes he could be humanity’s savior. Meanwhile, Tom Wisdom (from the British flight attendant soap Mile High as well as 300) will play a warrior archangel who helps humanity, and Alan Dale will be the leader of one of the few remaining cities.
Tom Wisdom. That means my husband will want to sample the pilot, at least.
The third season of Project Runway All Stars will be hosted by Alyssa Milano and will feature three former winners — Jeffre Sebelia, Irina Shabayeva and Seth Aaron Henderson. Also returning are Viktor Luna and Ari (née Andy) South.

Formerly known as "Ross the Intern," and soon to be known as "Ross the Talk Show Host," Ross Mathews dropped by HuffPost Live's studio to dish about his upcoming talk show, "Hello Ross!" premiering on E! on Friday, September 6.
During the segment turned gabfest, Mathews gushed about his love for pop culture and celebrities but after bringing out his partner Salvador Camarena to join him on set, Mathews spoke about how he's never officially come out and noted how when he started as "Ross the Intern" on "The Tonight Show" in 2001 things were different for gay people on television:
I could never have been in the closet but it was important for me to be open and out because I remember being a kid growing up in a farm town and not knowing what it meant to be a happy, grown up, successful gay person because I didn't see that represented on television.
