Maya Entertainment has also started production on the crime thriller The Repeater. This title stars Luke Goss (Death Race 2), Bai Ling (Locked Down) and action star Gary Daniels (The Expendables). The film is currently in pre-production, so details are limited. However, a concept poster is available, which features Goss and the tagline: "Find, Kill...Repeat." As well, the film deals with a criminal underworld in Mexico and a mercenary for hire, who must face "the most feared man in the world" (Maya Entertainment).
Unbelievably, actor Luke Goss found his first big break in show business with the British Pop Music world, where he charted at least thirteen singles. This band was formed with his brother, Matt Goss before disbanding over contract disputes with their management. Then, Goss transitioned to stage acting in the play "Grease," in London, England. Cinema awaited. Blade II (2002) would be one of his first roles,...

First time writer/director Jasmine Yuen-Carrucan’s taut 2008 thriller “Cactus” is a great example of how to balance suspense, shock, drama, and dark comedy without dividing your film into obvious, easy to swallow caplets. There’s a definite ease in the way Yuen-Carrucan weaves this intriguing tale of a rugged delivery man and his snarky human cargo; scenes flow logically and seamlessly interconnect, as opposed to merely fitting together for the sake of the narrative at-large. It’s a balancing act that few can achieve, though here it looks like just another sunny day cruising through the Australian outback. However, blood-thirsty genre fans hoping for another “Wolf Creek” — or even another “Bone Dry” — will certainly be left with a dusty coat of disappointment plastered across their collective grills. While there is a bit of carnage lurking towards the tail end of the picture, the majority of “Cactus” is quite tame...

I have to confess to having not yet seen the Lance Henricksen thriller Bone Dry from 2007. I haven't avoided it intentionally and even heard a few solid words about the low-budget thriller. If you're among the film's cadre of fans, director Brett A. Hart is giving you a chance to score a piece of memorabilia straight from it!
For those of you unfamiliar with the film: Eddie finds himself being forced at a gunpoint, by an unseen assailant, on a dark and brutal journey through the harsh terrain of the Mojave desert. His nemesis is Jimmy, a man with an aberrant agenda; armed with a rifle, a scope, walkie-talkies and a truck, he has organized a series of ambushes and mantraps designed to push Eddie to the limits of his humanity and beyond.
And from the images below, you'll see that the film's centerpiece revolves around the protagonist being stripped...

At long last, the cult series Millenium may be paying a visit to the big screen. The show was one of the darkest series in both subject matter and texture to ever grace television screens. It was very stylized, with a neo-gothic colour palette. Key to the series was Lance Henriksen, who starred as Frank Black, "a profiler who has remarkable insight into the minds of killers and other demented souls." Lance was best known as the android Bishop in the Alien trilogy. Millenium ran for three seasons, from 1996-1999, as a darker project from X-Files creator Chris Carter. "While it wasn’t a huge hit, it did acquire many loyal fans during its run and a campaign has been ongoing to try and get some closure on the series." It looks like there may be hope for this project yet. "Lance Henriksen was approached by private investors who wish...
