More than a decade ago, someone named ‘Himmmm’ began spilling serious tea about Hollywood in 2012. The anonymous commenter discussed allegations related to starlet call-girl rings, p*dophilia, and r*pe.
People thought that ‘Himmmm’ might be Robert Downey Jr. because of clues hinting at a past addiction struggle, which the commenter was open about.
Even Rdj’s battles with addiction are well-known, so it got folks wondering. The star was a huge addict from the age of eight, and his dependence on addictive substances only deepened.

In 2019, rumors circulated that Shia Labeouf and Mel Gibson would be featured in a new movie about the affluent Ashkenazi Jewish noble banking Rothschild family. The project, which was said to delve into the mysterious and secretive world of one of the wealthiest families in history, was met with excitement by fans.
However, since the initial announcement, there have been few or no updates regarding the status of the film, causing many to wonder: What happened to Gibson’s Rothschild movie? The project was supposed to be helmed by Tetris director Jon S. Baird.
Mel Gibson in the John Wick spin-off, The Continental
Speculation has been rife concerning the causes of the apparent delay or possible demise of the project. The movie’s title and subject matter caused controversy then, and Gibson was forced to deny any link between Rothchild and the wealthy Jewish banking dynasty of the same name.

Mel Gibson is not producing a four-part documentary centered on child sex trafficking, TheWrap has confirmed.
False reports of the Oscar-winning actor and filmmaker’s involvement in the project’s development with Operation Underground Railroad began circulating this week, leading Gibson’s publicist and the nonprofit organization’s founder Tim Ballard to release statements debunking the claims.
“Mel deserves all the credit for taking the initiative to further the critical work that we do,” Ballard said in a statement Thursday. “I am personally grateful for his support as we worked on this documentary, however reports this four-part series is actually being produced by Mr. Gibson are not accurate. It’s being produced by Nick Nanton of DNA Films and includes several executive producers such as Kyle Cease, Tony and Sage Robbins and other wonderful and talented people.”

The USC Annenberg Inclusion Initiative, known for its oft-critical reports on Hollywood’s hiring practices and portrayals of underrepresented groups, is launching a “new focus” that will measure the film and TV industry’s depictions of a wide range of political issues, including abortion, gun violence, voting, marriage equality and interracial relationships.
The new approach comes in response to the Supreme Court’s overturning Roe v. Wade and concerns that other long-held rights also might be in danger.
“With the curtailing of reproductive rights, it is not only necessary to find legal solutions to protect marginalized communities, but it is essential to educate and inform audiences about these topics,” said Dr. Stacy L. Smith, founder of the Annenberg Inclusion Initiative. “Entertainment has a unique ability to reach viewers and provide that education. California’s premier culinary talents will be joining forces this week along with host Tony Hale and event co-chair/Rogers & Cowan CEO Mark Owens to raise money for global non-profit organization, March of Dimes.
The 2019 Signature Chefs Auction takes place on Thursday, Oct. 14 at the Sls Hotel in Beverly Hills, with 12 local master chefs serving up tastings of their most highly-acclaimed dishes.
“March of Dimes really delivers a simple message that if the moms are healthy then you can have strong babies,” Owens told TheWrap. “It is a real problem here in California where about 9% of babies are born premature, which is the number one cause of death for children five years and under. It is not an easy problem to solve, but it is a solvable problem,” he explained.

When major PR firms merge, they’re usually consolidating in order to stay on top. It’s a little different for former standalones Pmk-Bnc (which has merged at least four times in 40 years) and Rogers & Cowan: Both are owned by the publicly traded Interpublic Group (2018 revenue: $9.71 billion). Now, they will form a single firm (yet to be named) that will represent more than 500 clients and 30 brands.
So why the change? The combo creates a more impressive client list, and will allow them to trim the expenses and other redundancies that come when two entities merge. It’s the easiest and fastest way to become bigger while meeting the demands of their corporate overlords.
Of course, bigger is not always better. Still, when the new company officially launches January 1, it will dwarf Kelly Bush and Mara Buxbaum’s ID-pr. It will also become one of the top 20 PR firms in the world,...

Perhaps it is telling us something about the history of the film industry that Denzel Washington, last night’s highly deserving honoree for the 47th AFI Life Achievement Award, is only the third African American to ever receive it, and before Morgan Freeman was honored in 2011, Sidney Poitier in 1992 was the only person of color on the AFI list. Of course careers like two-time Oscar winner Washington’s are increasingly rare, but as evidenced by tributes from the stage by the likes of Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Mahershala Ali, and Jamie Foxx, there can be no question Washington won’t be the last African American so honored considering those his career has clearly inspired. It seemed entirely appropriate that Jennifer Hudson came out mid-show to sing “A Change Is Gonna Come”, and received a rousing standing ovation when it was over.

The Oscar-winning actor did not praise the president-elect as claimed in an article that appeared on the social network on Monday, according to his publicist.

In April, Caitlyn Jenner sat down with Diane Swayer for a 20/20 interview that drew more than 20 million viewers. It was, without question, the most highly anticipated interview of the year, and the culmination of a dexterous media rollout helmed by Rogers & Cowan's Alan Nierob. Now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Jenner will reunite with Sawyer for another one-on-one interview, approximately one year after their first sit-down. Jenner has only done a handful of interviews since the seminal 20/20 talk, including a photo shoot with Annie Leibovitz for Vanity Fair and the reality-tv series I Am Cait, which has since been renewed for a second season.

Mel Gibson’s temper is making headlines again, and this time it may have made contact with a News Corp. Australia photographer who is claiming the actor shoved her from behind before angrily berating her. “I thought he was going to punch me in the face,” Kristi Miller told News Corp. tabloid The Daily Telegraph. “He was spitting in my face as he was yelling at me, calling me a dog, saying I’m not even a human being and I will go to Hell. He swore and called me a c–t. It was non-stop — he didn’t even breathe.

Caitlyn Jenner says that before she came out as a transgender woman, she had "totally isolated" herself from the trans community. Meeting others like her, she says, has been "an eye-opening experience." Touched by their harrowing but often inspiring stories of survival, Jenner, 65, has partnered with WhoSay to release a weekly series of editorials called "The Real Me" that shine a light on the issues and people in the Lgbt community.
Hi friends. What a week. Let me just start by saying, I'm so happy it's over! What a relief.
Over the last month, I was so worried about what to wear.

Ah, to be as squeaky-clean and even-tempered as actor Richard Gere. When we realized that James Lipton's liveblog of the Oscars and the 10-year anniversary of the Best Picture win by “Chicago” were happening the same year (the cast will reunite in Sunday's broadcast), we decided to take a look back at Lipton's various “Inside the Actors Studio” run-ins with the stars of the movie musical. Right away, we stumbled on Gere's episode from May 2002, and something he said struck us as a bit odd. When Lipton famously asked Gere, “What's your favorite curse word?” as part of his Proustian line of questioning, the actor's response was short, to the point, and followed by no elaboration. “I don't curse,” he replied. Um, what? While we assumed Gere's short-and-sweet response was a joke, the actor does have a reputation for being calm, well-mannered, and, well, a Buddhist. So, we took...

Richard Gere's publicist has lashed out at "false" reports suggesting the actor dismissed his most famous film Pretty Woman as "a silly romantic comedy".
The 1990 box office smash is one of the most successful rom-coms of all time, pulling in over $460 million (£287 million) at the box office, and Gere left fans stunned recently when he allegedly poured scorn on the movie, in which he played a successful businessman opposite Julia Roberts' hooker character, in a recent Australian interview.
According to Aussie magazine Woman's Day, Gere said of the film, "It's my least favourite thing. People ask me about (it), but I've forgotten it. That was a silly romantic comedy."
But now the star's rep, Alan Nierob, has hit back at the reporting, insisting Gere never made the comment.
He says, "(It's) all a bunch of Bs (bulls**t). He didn’t do an interview with that Australian publication."
However the magazine's editors are sticking by their story.
A statement to Access Hollywood reads, "Woman’s Day stands by our story and our journalist Henry Meller. He spoke to Mr Gere at the Sundance Film Festival ahead of and immediately after the premiere of Arbitrage."
Arbitrage is Gere's new film with Susan Sarandon.

Richard Gere, an outspoken Buddhist, recently sat down for an interview about his faith. In the wake of a string of self-immolations by Tibetan monks last year, Gere has some harsh words for the Chinese government. Ndtv reports that Gere called China “the largest hypocrisy in the world right now.” It was just the start of a long diatribe against the Communist country, its politicians, and policies.
Gere was more than candid in the interview, according to a transcript posted on the New Delhi TV website. “The Communist ideals that lead to the abuse of people is hypocrisy at the highest possible level.

Los Angeles — A Los Angeles County sheriff's detective says Robert Wagner is not a suspect in the 1981 death of his wife, actress Natalie Wood.
Lt. John Corina said that new information is substantial enough to take another look at the case. Wood's body was found floating off a Southern California island as the couple were on a boating excursion. The death was ruled an accidental drowning.
Corina was asked if Wagner is a suspect and the detective said no.
The police news conference comes as a captain of the boat said on national TV Friday that he lied to investigators about Wood's death and blamed Wagner for her drowning.
The circumstances of her death remain one of Hollywood's enduring mysteries and continue to create renewed intrigue, with homicide detectives on Thursday unexpectedly re-opening the case that had long been classified as a tragic accident.

Thirty years after Natalie Wood drowned off the California coast, possible new evidence leads authorities to reopen case
Police have reopened their investigation into the death of Natalie Wood almost 30 years after the Hollywood icon drowned off the coast of California.
Wood, best known for her performances in West Side Story and Rebel Without a Cause, drowned in November 1981 after she took a boat trip to Catalina Island off the coast of Los Angeles with her husband, Robert Wagner, and the actor Christopher Walken. The three-time Oscar-nominated actor had been starring with Walken in the science fiction movie Brainstorm, which turned out to be her final film. Her death was ruled to be an accident by the coroner, who said she had been drinking, but there has always been speculation about the events immediately preceding her demise.

Officials in Los Angeles have re-opened the investigation into Natalie Wood's death, 30 years after the actress drowned at sea.
The re-opening of the case was prompted by new information received by detectives, according to Los Angeles County sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore.
The Rebel Without a Cause star died off the coast of California in November, 1981 during a trip on a luxury yacht with her husband Robert Wagner and their guest, actor Christopher Walken. Her death was ruled an accident.
Last year, her sister Lana demanded the case be re-opened, insisting modern crime-solving technology would help unravel the mystery once and for all - and on Thursday, officials announced her death will be investigated once again.
A press conference about the case is due to be held on Friday, and Wood's widower has welcomed the developments.
Wagner's spokesperson Alan Nierob says, "Although no one in the Wagner family has heard from the L.A. County Sheriff's department about this matter, they fully support the efforts...
"(The family) trust they will evaluate whether any new information relating to the death of Natalie Wood Wagner is valid, and that it comes from a credible source or sources other than those simply trying to profit from the 30 year anniversary of her tragic death."...

Sorry, Alexander Dalton, it doesn't look like a fat check will be coming to you anytime soon. Reports claimed Oksana Grigorieva's 14-year-old son would be getting a $100,000 payout from Mel Gibson so that the young boy wouldn't sue the actor after he allegedly pushed the boy during an argument in 2009. No more, no less," Gibson's publicist, Alan Nierob, tells E! News. "Mel is paying exactly the sums set forth to Oksana and is paying no additional sums to Alexander Dalton or anyone else. Melbourne, Sept 9: Mel Gibson will produce a movie that triumphs the Jewish struggle against tyranny - a movie about the greatest Jewish hero of all time, his publicist Alan Nierob has confirmed.
According to TMZ.com, Nierob said that Gibson is teaming up with screenwriter Joe Eszterhas, who wrote the Jewish-themed movies 'Betrayed' and 'Music Box', reports the Daily Telegraph.
The movie will be about Judah Maccabee, the Jewish warrior who defeated the Greek-Syrian armies in the second century B.C.
Gibson, who famously directed the arguably anti-Jewish 'Passion of the Christ' in 2004, has also.

On the eve of his movie comeback, can Mel Gibson finally tame his demons?
It was a balmy spring evening in Cannes. Arriving for the premiere of his latest film, The Beaver, Mel Gibson seemed anxious as he walked the red carpet last month, a little uncomfortable posing for the massed ranks of photographers who were shouting his name. When the movie's director, Jodie Foster, leaned across to adjust his bow-tie, Gibson smiled, right on cue. But while the two of them chatted and laughed for the cameras, the actor's brow remained furrowed. The next day's photographs would all show the three deep wrinkles cut horizontally across his tanned forehead, giving him the air of someone who expects disappointment and – more often than not – is rewarded with it.

Organizers recently announced that The Beaver is one of five films that will have their international premieres at the multimedia film festival known as SXSW held annually in Austin, Texas.

Mel Gibson's longtime publicist has offered his take on the movie star's ex-lover in a declaration filed to help his client win his ongoing custody battle for his baby daughter Lucia.
Revered Hollywood PR Alan Nierob, who has represented Gibson for almost 15 years, suggests Oksana Grigorieva was a publicity-hungry girlfriend.
In legal papers obtained by TMZ.com, Nierob writes, "In my opinion she enjoyed press events more than most of my clients' spouses and significant others."
And he also recalls being around the Russian singer after the alleged fight between her and Gibson, which sparked the beginning of the end of their romance.
He recalls she was "joking, laughing and extremely happy" at a dinner three weeks after the reported fight.
The news breaks the day after Grigorieva appeared on U.S. news show Larry King Live and revealed she lived in fear of her ex towards the end of their romance - and didn't think he was a good father.
This claim Nierob also dismisses, stating, "On a multitude of other occasions, Miss Grigorieva commented to me that she believed Mr. Gibson was a 'great' father to Lucia."...
