A major draw of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ appears to be the abundance of cameos and variants slated to feature in the film. Currently, there are rumors or confirmations of 25 characters from the former Fox ‘X-Men’ franchise and other properties making appearances.
Among them is Dafne Keen’s Laura. While her character’s presence hasn’t been officially confirmed, fans speculate her involvement based on the strong hints towards Wolverine’s past, or at least one of his variants, which seem to allude to the character.
Dafne Keen portrayed Laura in ‘Logan,’ widely acclaimed as one of the finest Wolverine films.
Laura, born in 2016, was among the offspring of the Transigen Project led by Zander Rice. Created using genetic material from mutants and carried by captive women, Laura inherited Wolverine’s healing abilities and retractable claws. Unlike him, her skeleton lacked full adamantium coating. The children, meant for military use, were...

One of the biggest selling points of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ seems to be the unprecedented amount of cameos and variants set to appear in the movie. So far, we have 25 characters from former Fox’s ‘X-Men’ franchise and other properties either rumored to appear or confirmed to appear.
One of them is Dafne Keen’s Laura. Although the character was never explicitly confirmed to be in the movie, fans have assumed as much since Wolverine’s past, or at least the past of one of his variants seems to heavily nod toward the character.
Dafne Keen appeared as Laura in ‘Logan’ which is by far praised to be one of the best Wolverine movies.

The rumour mill continues churning out possible Deadpool & Wolverine cameos and, if we're not careful, disappointment will soon follow.
While the upcoming threequel is bound to feature some massive surprises, we've already seen what happens when fans set their expectations too high. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness included appearances from Professor X, Black Bolt, and Mister Fantastic, but even that wasn't enough for those who went in hoping to see Spider-Man and Tom Cruise!
Dafne Keen played X-23 in 2017's Logan and there have been rumblings for a while now that she'll suit up and reprise the role in Deadpool & Wolverine.
Asked about that in a recent interview, The Acolyte star chose her words carefully. "I mean...I can’t wait. The trailer looked incredible!" Keen responded, largely dodging the question. "This is all really crazy and I’m looking forward to seeing it."

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is certainly one of the releases this year that is meant to kickstart great things. First, the movie is Deadpool’s first foray into the MCU, something that fans have been asking for, well, since the MCU existed. Second, it’s part of a new strategy that aims to restore at least some of the faith that fans had in the franchise and in the studio.
Since the movie is being so hyped at this point, there’s plenty of information going around regarding the plot, cast, and overall expected appearances in the movie. We decided to gather that information in one spot and present you with a comprehensive guide on the upcoming movie so, let’s go.

Up on the Roof is a romantic comedy that feels a real throwback to the classics of the 90s, and to mark its release we had the pleasure in speaking to its leading man, Piotr Adamczyk. The affable, Polish performer, spoke to us about shooting the film in a barren, lockdown-London, and on his working relationship with co-star Natalia Tena.
He also speaks about the character being called ‘Stefan’, which is a great name – and he talks about subverting stereotypes of Polish people in film & TV, acknowledging that it is something of a rarity for a leading man in a rom-com to be given to an actor from that part of the world. He also speaks about returning in For All Mankind and what audiences can expect, and why he wants a Hawkeye return, and whether he can get his hands on any of the action figures of his character…...

John Wick is finally back in theatres, much to the delight of audiences and critics alike. John Wick: Chapter 4 is currently at 94% – both critically and with the audience score – on Rotten Tomatoes. This post contains spoilers for "John Wick: Chapter 4" and the later "Harry Potter" films.
In "John Wick: Chapter 4," John Wick (Keanu Reeves) must reunite with his estranged family in order to finally rid himself of the High Table and remove the sizable bounty on his head. When he visits his family, however, he has a rude reunion with Katia Jovanovich, Wick's long-lost adoptive sibling who is played by none other than actor Natalia Tena. Clad in leather and covered in prison ink tattoos, Jovanovich is a leader of the Ruska Roma assassins last seen in "John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum."

Spoiler Alert: Spoilers are ahead for “John Wick: Chapter 4,” now playing in theaters.
After killing countless High Table henchmen, falling down hundreds of stairs and dueling one blind master swordsman, Keanu Reeves’ John Wick is…dead?
“John Wick: Chapter 4” ends with Wick seemingly six feet under, after succumbing to three gunshot wounds he suffered during his final duel with Caine (Donnie Yen). Winston (Ian McShane) and the Bowery King (Laurence Fishburne) even pay their respects at the master assassin’s tombstone, which is located next to his wife’s final resting place.
Before he died, however, Wick finally freed himself from the High Table’s clutches. Instead of firing his third and final bullet in his duel against Caine, Wick held onto the round and shot the Marquis Vincent de Gramont (Bill Skarsgard), who had walked over to deliver the final blow to Wick before checking to see...

This article contains massive spoilers for "John Wick: Chapter 4."
There's an ancient saying: "Before you set out on revenge, first dig two graves." The axiom has been attributed to everyone from Confucius to James Bond, but while its origins are indeterminate, its sentiment is evergreen. Revenge is a deadly business that will likely consume the soul — if not the life — of anyone who seeks it.
John Wick (played with brooding soulfulness by Keanu Reeves) can attest to the truth of that saying, as can many of his friends and enemies. In the latest installment of his saga, "John Wick: Chapter 4," the daughter of Wick's friend Shimazu (Hiroyuki Sanada), Akira (Rina Sawayama), observes that "everything he touches, dies." Another of Wick's on-again, off-again allies, Winston (Ian McShane) pleads with John to know where his roaring rampage of revenge will end. John himself, as ever, isn't sure of the particulars.

Keanu Reeves' brutally efficient assassin John Wick has been away from our screens for an extended period of time, largely thanks to the pandemic, but that all changes very, very soon with the release of "John Wick: Chapter 4." Reeves has once again reunited with director Chad Stahelski for what figures to be an epic adventure in the secret world of assassins, as this entry clocks in at just shy of three hours. That's a lot of headshots. That raises the rather important question: do viewers also have to sit through the credits?
While superhero movies have mode post-credits scenes commonplace, the "John Wick" series has not really been subject to them up to this point. But for those who are curious, we're here to offer up a spoiler-free guide for "Chapter 4." Seriously, no spoilers here, just information that you, dear reader, can put to good use when you see the movie in theaters.

The John Wick franchise is easily one of my favorites. And now the Keanu Reeves action series is back in a big way with the operatic John Wick: Chapter 4 (check out our review). The film excels at everything that mades these films work. It’s a thrill watching Reeves and company play in this wild world. This time around, the actor is joined by a few legendary action stars including Hiroyuki Sanada, Donnie Yen, and Scott Adkins. This is an amazing team. The cast also includes regulars Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane, and of course, the wonderful Lance Riddick – blessings to his family and friends. And finally, man is it great to see Bill Skarsgard, Shamier Anderson, and the lovely Rina Sawayama involved in the insanity.

Rina Sawayama has been making waves in the pop genre since her debut in 2013. The singer has collaborated with major artists like Elton John, Lady Gaga, and Charli Xcx. Sawayama has now turned her eye toward the acting world with a new role in the latest John Wick flick. Interestingly, a YouTube thumbnail was responsible for the singer getting her role in the franchise.
A glimpse at Rina Sawayama’s impressive career
Sawayama began her music career in 2013 by releasing her single “Sleeping in Waking.” Later that year, she released “Terror on Halloween” under the mononym Riina. Sawayama continued to make music, and in 2017, she released her single “Cyber Stockholm Syndrome.”
That same year she released her debut EP Rina as an unsigned artist. In 2018, she released “Cherry,” which explored her sexual identity. She then embarked on her Ordinary Superstar Tour across the US, UK, and Canada.

The delight of the John Wick franchise lies squarely in its weirdness. The film series famously kicked off with mercenary protagonist and certified wife guy John Wick, played by Keanu Reeves, avenging his dog. But as John’s thirst for vengeance dwindled, the screenwriters decided to surround him with bloodthirsty weirdos rather than kill more of his loved ones. Even better, the films are aware of their own strangeness, lending a campy joy to even the dourest deeds.
The franchise is at its bizarre best in “John Wick 4,” written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch and directed, as always, by former stuntman Chad Stahelski. The wild world of assassins is more esoteric, the cinematography and choreography more stunning. Though the film stretches to an audacious 169 minutes — just under three hours — if you surrender yourself to the gorgeous silliness of the Wickiverse, it goes by in a fist-flying flash.

The studio held a not-so-secret screening of the upcoming John Wick: Chapter 4 at South by Southwest Film & TV Festival in Austin on Monday afternoon (like all the best SXSW secrets, the news leaked days in advance).
The Chad Stahelski-directed movie is by far the longest Wick adventure yet, running just shy of three hours — nearly twice as long as the 2014 first film and about 40 minutes longer than Chapter 3. Each hour has one epic lengthy action sequence featuring the franchise’s characteristic mix of mayhem, violence, balletic physicality and morbid humor. Plus, the film includes a post-credits scene.
Reeves attended the event while appropriately dressed in a black suit. Fans were definitely invested in the action, with the crowd hooting and cheering throughout.

Keanu Reeves has embodied the character of hitman John Wick in three movies over nearly a decade. The franchise’s first film, John Wick, immediately garnered acclaim upon its 2014 release. Fans demanded more, and the next few years saw the release of two more movies. Now, with John Wick: Chapter 4 set to release on March 24, fans eagerly await the thrills in store for them. In a recent interview, Reeves revealed that making John Wick: Chapter 4 was the “hardest thing” he has ever done, acknowledging the challenge it presented.
‘John Wick: Chapter 4’ promises a lot of action
Reeves last played the character of John Wick four years ago, in 2019’s John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. The film’s release was originally scheduled for 2021. However, several factors, including the Covid-19 pandemic, delayed the fourth installment of the action series.
The newest film follows John Wick as he sets out to defeat the High Table.

In a little under a decade, the "John Wick" franchise has managed to establish itself as one of the all-time greats in the action pantheon. Keanu Reeves is owed a lot of credit for his skills on screen as the deadly assassin, and if the early buzz is to be believed about the upcoming "John Wick: Chapter 4," it's clear the series is in no danger of getting stale. With presumed box office success coming, one must wonder: Is "John Wick: Chapter 5" all but guaranteed? Probably. But will director Chad Stahelski return? That's another question entirely.
/Film's Vanessa Armstrong recently spoke with Stahelski in anticipation of the fourth entry in the series. Stahelski has been at the helm for each and every movie thus far, so, naturally, the subject of "Chapter 5" came up. The filmmaker was by no means committal in regards to his involvement, saying, "Somewhere, maybe somebody will do it.

A dramatisation of the Wagatha Christie trial has captivated viewers with its portrayal of the legal battle between Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney.
Vardy v Rooney: A Courtroom Drama, starring Natalia Tena and Chanel Cresswell, is a two-part series that began on Channel 4 on Wednesday (21 December).
The Independent’s reviewer, Nick Hilton, wasn’t too impressed with the programme. His one-star review said that the speed of its production felt “typical of the laziness of the British TV conveyor belt” and summarised: “It’s.......... a pile of crap.”
Vardy sued Rooney for libel at the High Court in May, after Rooney claimed that Vardy’s Instagram account had been responsible for leaks to the media.
After the case was dismissed by the judge in July, production on Vardy v Rooney began one month later, using the real court transcripts to make up the majority of the script.

When the term Wag (standing for the Wives And Girlfriends of England’s top footballers) first appeared in British newspapers, it beckoned in a new era of scurrilous journalism. These women – who were unfairly blamed for England’s miserable exit from the World Cup in 2006 – became a perpetual motion machine for tabloid column inches. But when The Book of the Wag is finally written, the story that began with Victoria Beckham and Cheryl Cole will climax with the wives of two former England strikers going head-to-head in the High Court. This is the story of Vardy v Rooney: A Courtroom Drama, Channel 4’s verbatim retelling of the infamous “Wagatha Christie” saga.

The TV dramatisation of the Rebekah Vardy v Coleen Rooney trial is upon us. Exploring the Instagram age whodunnit, the series Vardy v Rooney: A Courtroom Drama portrays one of the most high profile, and most reported, libel cases to ever be brought before the High Court.
The drama, airing on Channel 4 on 21 December, recounts the notorious events that unfolded after Rooney (Chanel Cresswell) publicly alleged that Vardy (Natalia Tena) had been leaking stories about her to The Sun newspaper.
Vardy then sued Rooney for libel in June 2020, with the trial taking place over the course of seven days in May 2022, where the WAGs went head-to-head with their lawyers in the small, mahogany-clad room 13 at the Royal Courts of Justice. Vardy strongly denied leaking fake stories, but the judge, Mrs Justice Steyn, ruled in Rooney’s favour in July.

It’s………. Rebekah Vardy’s account.” Three years later, this remains the celebrity tweet sign-off that keeps on giving. Coleen Rooney probably didn’t anticipate that hitting send on her message back in October 2019 would ignite a petrol bomb of a scandal. Nor one that involved allegations of secret Wag wars, a phone being tossed into the ocean, and Peter Andre’s privates just not being up to scratch. It’s the tweet itself, though, that’s had the most substantial legacy. That delightfully creative use of ellipsis. The wealth of memes it inspired. Then, last summer, the dramatic court case it led to.

For three decades Spanish filmmaker Juanma Bajo Ulloa has consistently delivered his own unique brand of cinema, playing with genres while exploring family dynamics like a kid with toys. Now, the award-winning filmmaker is back with fairytale thriller “Baby,” world premiering in competition at this year’s Sitges Film Festival. Latido Films, the film’s sales agent, has shared its trailer with Variety ahead of the Catalan event.
Billed as a dark fairytale, “Baby” is set in a modern town nestled deep in an eerie forest of gloomy trees and luminous lakes, teeming with wildlife. There, a tragic young woman simply referred to as Chica (girl), addicted to drugs, gives birth while suffering one of her too-common breakdowns, completely alone.
With no support, its everything the girl can do to keep the baby fed when she’s lucid enough to do so. Unable to care for herself, the only comfort...

“Game of Thrones” stars Daniel Portman, Gemma Whelan, Iwan Rheon, Kristian Nairn, and Natalia Tena are among the Hollywood celebrities who will play virtual games of Dungeons & Dragons to raise money for charity.
Entertainment Weekly reported that the “Game of Thrones” stars are the latest addition to D&d Live 2020 Roll w/ Advantage, which will raise funds for Red Nose Day to help children affected by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Other actors who will participate in the tabletop gaming event, which will run from June 18-20, include Deborah Ann Woll, Amy Acker, Thomas Middleditch, Matthew Lillard, and Sam Richardson, among others.
“The games I run tend to be ridiculous and goofy, which are two words I wouldn’t apply to ‘Game of Thrones,’ necessarily,” Welsh told Entertainment Weekly. “Super excited to see how these actors in particular let loose with the antics you typically find at a D&d table.

“The Mandalorian” is a $100 million show about nothing. There’s no overarching plot, no character development, and, six episodes in, still no emotional stakes or any indication that these issues will get resolved. It’s about a walking action figure and his merchandising-friendly pet, doomed to endlessly receive jobs that pay well enough to fly to the next episode’s location, team up with a celebrity cameo, get betrayed by bounty hunters, save Baby Yoda from said bounty hunters, and set off to the aforementioned next episode’s location.
“Chapter 6: The Prisoner” opens with the Mandalorian, Aka Mando, meeting up with an old contact who will pay the Mandalorian to help break a prisoner out of a New Republic ship. It’s a fairly promising concept, even if there’s infuriatingly no context for the Mandalorian accepting this latest one-off quest. The Mandalorian has been marketed as a morally...

Oh, thank Sidious, The Mandalorian corrected itself after an unfortunate misstep.
The Mandalorian Season 1 Episode, "The Gunslinger," trod on a brittle surface of silliness and sketch comedy. So, yes, we are relieved to report a hyperspace jump back in the right direction with The Mandalorian Season 1 Episode 6: "The Prisoner."
Where "The Gunslinger" verged on cartoonish buffoonery, "The Prisoner" returned wild adventure, more realized guest roles, and some top notch battles.
Straight off the bat, we are introduced to Ran Malk, a mercenary and old associate of the Mandalorian's from the old days when they ran mercenarial-type gigs together.
Ran is a space-placed Grizzly Adams type played by Sons of Anarchy alum Mark Boone Junior.
Once we meet him, it's clear this episode is not going to rely on schtick to entertain.
Ran is a more realistic character than we saw on The Mandelorian Season 1 Episode 5, with a speck of...

A review of this week’s The Mandalorian, “The Prisoner,” coming up just as soon as my shoes match my belt…
We’re at the stage of this season where the creative team (here with Rick Famuyiwa returning to direct, and co-writing with Thor: Ragnarok‘s Christopher Yost) just seems to be inserting Mando and Baby Yoda(*) into different genre favorites. Two weeks ago, it was “gunslingers defend a village from bandits.” Last week, it was “veteran reluctantly shows a rookie the ropes.” This week, it’s a jailbreak with...
