Network (1976)
WOW!
This movie goes to show how people will exploit the madness of others to gain profit or popularity of others. It is a great movie to show anyone in the film industry to remind them of their human ethics.
The Artist (2011)
The artist is an intreaguing film
The artist is a movie that really makes you think about how everyone these days is so used to sound that we never think about how amazing the older silent films are. People think to themselves that a silent film is "no good" because you cant hear whats going on, but its exactly the opposite. they sometimes tell a better story than films with sound.
Flatworld (1997)
Flatworld
Flatworld is one of the better stop motion film that i have seen. it incorporates stop motion and cell animation in a flawless way. I love this movie for its simplistic point of view, and its universally understandable plot.
Traffic (2000)
Interesting movie.
This was an interesting movie, in my opinion it could have been better but was still quite good.
This movie has aged quite well, with its different colors and many intriguing scenes I would say that it is still a good movie.
*spoiler*
Michael Douglas left his position as the head of the drug department because he could not fight a war against drugs if that meant he was fighting against his family, and because he couldn't deal with the constant questions and requests. It also appeared as if he was slightly depressed or just angry at the system and how it worked/didn't work
I think that the film being shot in different tones really helped keep the viewers attention without them even knowing it. The different tones in this movie really helped add to the story line and make the viewer feel like he/she was there.
Get Out (2017)
Great Movie
In my opinion Get Out was, for lack of better words an awesome movie! it had an intriguing plot and a great story that is easy to follow. There are also many messages in the movie that are harder to pick up and like the shining, will have some conspiracy theories behind it.
The ending was interesting to say the least, although I personally liked the alternate ending more than the intended ending as it showed how police make immediate assumptions based on what they see.
The Shining (1980)
Review of The Shining
I think that in this movie, some of the Easter eggs (or more blatantly obvious hints) are supposed to give the viewer a insight to possible outcomes of the entire situation.
With these hints and Easter eggs, Kubrick has implemented an element of mystery to the movie, for those that have not watched it before.
I think personally that these Easter eggs mainly suggest mass genocide, as the hotel is built on top of a native American burial ground. But that's just my opinion.
This movie is definitely a classic! It is like the first puzzle a child puts together, or like that first taste of wine that you get from your parents. Its bitterly sour and confusing at first, but as it goes on it all makes sense.
Overall this movie was amazing, and provided puzzling scenes for me to look at closely and have that moment of "oooh, so that's what it means!" If you love movies that have a great story line and plenty to keep you watching, then I highly suggest this movie!
Enter the Dragon (1973)
Was this worth my time watching?
this movie was definitely worth watching! Its old and amazing, it shows how Bruce lee acted when he was younger and had a great story line. This film has also aged well, it is still loved by people all over and is an example of a great idea. \
Some newer films that pay Homage to this film would include, spy movies, and films like those.
This film steals from other films to appeal to bigger audiences. some films that have had stuff stolen from them for this film include all James bond movies, and action thriller movies.
And as far as Williams being killed instead of roper. I honestly think its because roper looked like more of a leader and looked like he could handle power.
