Que piloto incrível, cheio de emoções e curiosidades, narrativa cheia de suspenses. Pequenas partes de clichê, mas se tratando de uma produção nacional, achei a qualidade boa.

It's certainly not a movie that will please everyone, but for those who like a good black humor and want to see something different from what we're used to, it's a full plate. The jokes are great, especially the ones about the government office, and the dinner table scene where everyone starts to sing and dance is just hilarious.

The story has nothing to do with it, and even in some moments the script leaves something to be desired, as the simple fact that the meaning of the couple's "life after death" is not clarified, but that, analyzing more deeply, it can be purposeful showing that the death is meaningless. And this can be seen in the part where the joke is made where Barbara (Geena Davis) tells the social worker that she is not happy and she is told that of course she is not happy because they are dead, showing that the couple does not have to be satisfied with death, simply accept it as it is.

The look of the movie is amazing, especially all those creatures of the most varied forms. They make us wonder where they got so much idea to make "dead people". The soundtrack does its role very well with a dark and unpretentious feel at the same time, making it clear that it doesn't want to frighten you, but it doesn't want to be comical either. All the characters are great along with their portrayals, especially of course the unrecognizable Michael Keaton (Beetlejuice).

It's not a film to be taken seriously (and he doesn't take himself), but it sure is an incredible option for those who are saturated with films with that same formula as usual that doesn't risk anything for creativity. The movie doesn't hide at any time that it's bizarre, and that's what makes it so good. Tim Burton definitely knows how to make the bizarre interesting.

We have the chance to see a movie that caught our attention because of the way it made action simple. That's because in the original 2005 film, produced entirely in France, it brought much more action and a much more developed story than the new guise of the 13th District. We have the main attraction, our late Paul Walker. But for nothing here in the film. Just do what you already have. When you have good parts in grips and car racing. Reminiscent of the film series, Fast and Furious. More the direction was given to someone who starts his career. Director Camille Delamarre had done nothing prior to this work. Where the fault on the steering part is visible. It doesn't enjoy almost anything.

Friday the 13th is a horror classic that deserves to be seen by all fans of the genre and of legendary serial killer Jason Voorhees. The film is really surprising for its little pretense, however pleasant and interesting result. Before criticizing the film "for this or that", it is worth remembering that it is from the 1980s; "megas" special effects were not yet the custom, nor were the most sophisticated scripting and client-taking techniques. The film really lacks some aspects of rhythm, acting, script; but who cares? Given the magnitude of witnessing "the birth" of serial legend Jason, the piece really lives up to the premise - perhaps one of the most consistent films in the saga. An ode here, mainly, to Betsy Palmer, who embodies a fantastic Pamela Voorhees, worthy of being remembered for generations to come.

A re-adaptation of the fairy tale that everyone everyone knows well. The film showed fidelity to its own Disney-produced original in question. Highly skilled actors and an engaging plot, they were companies with intriguing special effects and a magical staging full of life and with almost unique features.

Warning: Spoilers
It is full of reference to the Warner universe and from the beginning makes it clear to the public, that is, a self-promotion for the studio and King, that being said, any attempt to speak ill of these aspects is unfounded, it is made for it , which is very honest. However, it lacks a lot in the story, it is shallow despite surprising in its references to The Matrix, It a Thing, Harry Potter, King Kong, Rick and Morty, Game of Thrones, Superman, Wonder Woman and the rest of the Justice League, brings excitement for that aspect.

The shared universe is well done, both in animation and in CGI. Warner wanted to show its potential and got it, of course it's not a 10, but it's good. Unfortunately there are flaws in the plot, for example: spoiler: it doesn't explain the real reason why Bugs' friends leave his world and in the end decide to come back.

It's not focused to be a sequel, even though it has a mention of the previous movie, it's just similar (that doesn't make the movie bad).

When I went to see it I thought it would be a cheap copy of the old one, I had low expectations and didn't expect much, however, it has its original aspects, a different feel and new pop culture reference, it's not the Looneys that need help anymore, but the LeBron James.

The acting was relatively good, but Don Cheadle left something to be desired because of his character without depth, a classic villain, where, it has no sense for what he does, nothing interesting, they could have at least given a little sense to value the actor. .

It surpassed my expectations, but not really a grandiose one (nor is it its goal), but just a fun movie that implements good references, great to watch with the family.

After the incredible Zootopia, Disney disappoints a little with Mogli. Not that the movie is bad, but it has a script so simple, so predictable, that it makes the movie look like those from the afternoon session.

To end the bad points there is the use of songs, all of them used wrongly, they are kind of meaningless.

But Mogli is not all bad, the special effects, the technical issues are excellent, the animals the details the forest the somber dark tone, it creates a wonderful mood, and to think that everything was done on computers.

And what the hell some animals talk and others don't, either everybody talks or nobody talks.

The film tells the story after Lightning McQueen won the Copa Pistão for the fourth time, and now he will compete in the World Grand Prix, a championship that brings together the best runners from around the world.

Story: The story isn't bad, but it's not good either, it's that kind of story where you come out of the theater and say ''it was cool,'' which is not normal for Pixar movies, saying ''Wow, what a movie epic!''. I think Pixar was wrong in wanting to turn the movie into a spy movie, secret agents etc... And that's what took all the ''magic'' from the first movie, the cool thing was to see Lightning running on the tracks, to do Spectacular overtaking, with a grand finale, something that is hardly second to none.

Soundtrack: It's good, okay...

Characters: In animated movies, there's always the one character that's the favorite, most fun, in this one, clearly it's Mate (and in this movie he's the main one basically). The other characters are pretty cool, but nothing to stand out.

Final note: Cars 2 is a great animation, but for the Pixar pattern, it's weak, the story was the biggest problem, they told it very well, but it should have been different.

Aconteceu Naquela Noite is one of the biggest successes of cinema. In such a simple way the film takes us to a romance a little by accident. We travel together with the main characters, and with each new stop something new happens.

Clark Gamble and Claudette Colbert rock. He keeps his mood contagious, with a more serious take. She, continues with her charming way, and always manages to easily get away from some problems in the story. He deserved all the Oscars he received!

Jerry Maguire (1996)

Warning: Spoilers
Jerry Maguire is that usual nonsense in American cinema about sports and overcoming lessons, with the advantage of being able not to irritate. On the contrary, he manages to amuse, thrill. Tom Cruise is an extremely charismatic actor. Even playing anti-heroes or any other kind of incorrect character, he needs little more than a couple of scenes to bring the audience to his side. It's true that since he took over Scientology for good and jumped on Oprah's couch, his popularity has dwindled. But even so, the actor is still a reference in this regard (charisma, not box office failure...). All of this is evident in Jerry Maguire. The film, another great work by director/screenwriter Cameron Crowe, tells the story of the title character, a highly successful and unscrupulous sports agent who, in the midst of a crisis of conscience, writes a memo, or rather, a "planning goals", defending a reduction in the number of customers and a closer relationship with them. That athletes are treated more humanely, even if it means less profit for the agents. The result is certain: Maguire is fired from the company he works for and loses all his clients. Your personal and professional life goes from heaven to hell in a few days. The only things he has left are a fish, accountant and single mother Dorothy Boyd (Renée Zellweger) and decadent gambler Rod Tidwell (Cuba Gooding Jr., in her best film portrayal), the only client who trusted him. Jerry Maguire's transformation (from characterless agent to hero) is very well portrayed by Cameron Crowe, who knows how to mix drama and comedy without falling into the caricature. But despite being well written (the screenplay was nominated for an Oscar) and directed, the film would not work without the charisma of Cruise, who wins the audience from the first scene. The actor, nominated for an Academy Award for this role, is well at ease, displaying talent in both comedic and dramatic scenes.

The Matrix (1999)

Warning: Spoilers
One of the most creative films and also one of the best I've ever seen. The film has a huge philosophical character, it makes you think all the time. Keanu Reeves is a great actor and here he's better than ever playing Neo, the Chosen One. The film takes place in a future where the world is dominated by machines but nobody knows that, because they created a virtual world, where people live normally and don't suspect anything, the Matrix. Neo is apparently just another one of those people but he has something special, and since the beginning of the movie he already suspects something. Morpheus is inserted into the plot and starts talking to Neo, whom he believes is the chosen one. It's amazing how the film develops, the two meet and Neo starts to discover everything he didn't know. He discovers that the real world is very different from the world he lived in. The film brings us philosophical reflections all the time, such as "the body does not live without the mind", in this case, if you die in the Matrix you also die in the real world, even if that is not real, because your mind is there. The slow motion action scenes are awesome too. And the ending then is completely surprising, there Neo chooses is the chosen one.

Good movie, but it's pure comedy, this one already tells the story of timão and Pumba, and simba while he was with them, it's cool to pass the time, but as I said in the analysis of 2, none of them surpasses the first one, but thankfully that didn't spoil, they knew how to make a well-balanced trilogy.

The film is pretty cool, but not as cool as the first one, I would say that if they had chosen not to make a sequel, it would have been the same, because the first one was enough, but anyway, it's a cool movie, I just think it appealed a lot. For romance and for comedy, not that that's bad, but it wasn't the focus of the first movie, anyway, the sequel is fun, good to pass the time, it wasn't a total tragedy!

Pete's Dragon (2016)

Warning: Spoilers
Meu Amigo, O Dragão is a remake of another classic Disney movie, but this time not a specific animation, but a film that mixes live-action with animation. The film tells the story of Pete (Oakes Fegley), who after a car accident in the forest, is orphaned, and is soon found by the dragon Elliot, who protects him. Six years pass and the two continue to live in the woods without anyone seeing them, but one day, he finds Ranger Grace Meacham's (Bryce Dallas Howard) watch, and is discovered by the girl Natalie (Oona Laurence). Events make Pete move away from his friend Elliot. The film is directed by David Lowery, and here he hits everything, the camera movements are very precise and the editing is very well done. The script is very good, completely running away from the musical style that the 1977 movie had, here is a fantasy adventure for the whole family. The casts performances are good. Oakes Fegley and Oona Laurence are excellent in the role, adults Robert Redford and Bryce Dallas Howard are excellent, and Wes Bentley is competent in the role without stealing the show. The look of the film is exceptional, the cinematography is beautiful, the use of CGI is perfect, and the soundtrack is also very good. My Friend, O Dragão is one of the very rare cases where the remake is better than the original film, in this new film, animation or music is not used, and in my opinion, it was much better this way!

It's a good movie. Undoubtedly a light and fun comedy, sustained almost exclusively by the duo Dwayne Johnson, who, oddly enough, is at ease in the character, and the small and charismatic Madison Pettis. You actually get involved with the duo and root for the father-daughter relationship more and more.

The film entertains, offers moral lessons typical of Disney films and, on top of that, it thrills at various times.

I agree with all the criticisms made. As I see it, there are good ideas and situations in the film. There is the appearance of Batgirl - very well played by Alicia Silverstone, although also very poorly used, in my opinion. Chris O'Donnell lends Robin a figure - at the very least - visually interesting. Poison Ivy appears for the first time. However, actors are very poorly exploited in their potential. Arnold Schwarzenegger is in beautiful makeup, but his character could have been better characterized in addition to the Mr. Freeze look. There are a lot of ridiculous and unnecessary accents. The problem Schumacher wanted to make a dark movie but Warner didn't want it to be, and wanted exactly to sell toys. Some moments were extremely cliché and jokes, to the point of ridiculing the production itself.

Joel Schumacher assembled a very talented cast, but he couldn't take advantage of having such an actor, and he disappointed many. He's not rubbish, but he doesn't come close to his predecessors, and aside from Jim Carey who played the Riddler very well, Val Kilmer, Nicole Kidman and Tommy Lee Jones haven't done anything more in compensation than can be expected of them. There was no consistency in their performances, in the evolution and development of the story and in the direction and production itself, which this time was in charge of Tim Burton instead of directing him as he did in the two previous ones. Watchable movie that brings a little fun.

Black Widow (2021)

Weak
24 July 2021
A very generic and forgettable movie. Black Widow presents a terrible outcome for the character of Scarlett Johansson and totally bad and forgettable villains. The Trainer was MASSACRED to the extreme by the script and reduced to an "Exterminator" project. The script is very punctured and very weak. Crisp cuts and a very shallow and very forgettable soundtrack, like most Marvel movies. The second arc is totally sluggish and slow, getting tedious to watch. The third act is totally messed up and the Plot involving the Trainer's revelation gets to be pathetic and horrible, which makes him one of the worst villains in the cinematographic universe of Marvel. The final CGI is pretty bad. But, the film has mostly good visual decisions, an in-depth look at Natasha and Yelena and great action scenes, as well as being well-placed in the context between Civil War and Infinite War. Unfortunately, other characters like the Red Guardian are very poorly explored and show a horrible development, in addition to excessive cuts in some action scenes and continuity of the same. The feeling when you finish watching, is that you just watched another clichéd Marvel movie and a worse version of "The Winter Soldier".

In The Heights, with a screenplay by Quiara Alegría Hudes, based on the musical by Lin-Manuel Miranda, has several issues, the most pressing, from which many musicals also suffer, is the superficiality of its dramaturgy, more centered on political-social messages. Debating, than in the story to check them out, which is endowed with shallow conflicts, becomes a panel of the adversities faced by immigrants in the USA, in line with the current narratives of American politics. The film was accused, by the politically correct gang, of colorism, but beyond that, it also suffers from racism, with only two small white characters, both of which reinforce thesis of white supremacism and systemic racism, a fact that the "woke" community fails to recognize or accusing, after all, there are prejudices of good and others of evil, but the establishment, which loves Lin-Manuel Miranda passionately, because it promotes the "correct" messages, has tried to ward off any bad controversies.

Relying on musical strength to overcome the dramaturgy's flaws, Em Um Bairro De New York does not reach high flights, as it does not present songs that infect the audience or that they will hum through the streets after the projection. In addition, the musical structure has other similarities with that of Hamilton, also Miranda, leaving the questions in the air, which would be the egg? And what would the chicken be? And, which lacks originality? Anyone who has watched both will notice such similarities. With little narrative stuff, it remains for Lin-Manuel to appeal to cheap sentimentality, killing, from the middle to the end of the long text, the character "abuela", obviously, not before exposing the hardships of his immigration, which he ironically does in the moment of his death, managing to breathe a little more breath into the story, but at the same time making it predictable, from that fact to the resolution of the lottery prize.

The musical numbers are accompanied by choreographies more or less and without aesthetic beauty, rare exceptions. Jon M. Chu's direction starts off powerful, but quickly loses its strength with repetitions and blurring. Anthony Ramos does a good job, but doesn't reach the expected prominence of the character, the same happens with his counterpart Leslie Grace. The technical questions are great, but they could be much better.

Cruella (2021)
7/10
Good
24 July 2021
The same recipe as Maleficent and the same success. Once again, Disney bets on this new strand still undiscovered and has confirmation of an immediate success that will certainly bring more villains as protagonists to the screen with their origin stories and the re-reading of famous tales from the perspective of the antagonist.

A visually beautiful film that brings a simple script perhaps and with some questionable problem solutions but still manages to hold and leave those watching anxious for the next scene, this is due a lot to Emma's dual identity (how blessed is this name in cinema) Stone until much of the film and even later when he definitively assumes the character Cruella and makes our expectations rise to see the next madness to be done.

The main twist, however clichéd, brings even stronger the tone of revenge that is one of the pillars of the film but limits the character, implying that all that wonderful madness and ambition comes from the family and not from the original nature of the character.

However, the film manages to be a landmark and perhaps the best live-action ever made by Disney, as it stands out showing the visual beauty of the 70s and manages to brilliantly exploit Emma Stone's talent that brings the key to the film's success. .

Kung Fu Panda 3 The third part of DreamWorks' renowned franchise tells the story of how Master Shifu's main teaching is to make Po learn the Chi mastery technique. But the panda is distracted by the arrival of his real father, Li. Li then takes Po to the secret village of the Pandas. In the midst of it all, the mighty Kai gathers the strength to return to the living world and take what he thinks is rightfully his. The plot, in turn, moves forward, instead of telling one more story that won't evolve at all, the script presents a good story, and one that shows a great evolution in the characters, and that's very good. Visually the movie is flawless, the animation is very well done and the fight scenes are great. The movie's humor is also a plus, the script has lots of jokes and the vast majority will make the audience laugh. The film's villain is perhaps the film's weak point, it's generic and not at all charismatic, in this regard, other films do better.
