In Bitch, Grow Up!, Arguello couples her larger-than-life stage presence with her brutally honest take on post-pandemic hook ups and why broke men are better in bed, an exploration of how “Beauty and the Beast” triggered an epiphany, and a self-reflection on her middle school D.A.R.E. essay. February ushers in a new slate of movies and TV shows making their way to HBO and HBO Max, from a slew of James Bond movies to the recently released Olivia Colman-led “Empire of Light” to, yes, the Puppy Bowl.
“The Terminator,” “Catch Me If You Can,” “Footloose,” “Taxi Driver” and “The Silence of the Lambs” all mark notable library offerings this month, in addition to “Superbad,” “Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)” and “Eighth Grade.”
Despite HBO Max pulling a number of originals from its roster over the past several months, HBO Max originals premiering on the platform this month include a Dionne Warwick documentary, an adult European animated series titled “Poor Devil” and “Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special” based on the popular animated series.
HBO Max is also beefing up its sports offerings by streaming soccer matches featuring the U.S. national teams,...

“Sarah Cooper: Everything’s Fine” finally dropped on Netflix on Tuesday — and your favorite Trump lip-sync star did not disappoint with the celebrity cameos.
In the roughly 50-minute comedy special, directed by Natasha Lyonne with Maya Rudolph, Cooper primarily stars as herself, the host of a morning news show called “Everything’s Fine” where, you guessed it, everyone pretends everything is just fine despite the chaos that is 2020 and the Trump administration.
If you’re looking for more Trump lip-sync moments, Cooper delivers — and adds a couple more people to her repertoire. But she’s also joined by a lengthy guest star list that includes Fred Armisen, Megan Thee Stallion, Jane Lynch, Whoopi Goldberg, Jon Hamm, Aubrey Plaza, Connie Chung, Ben Stiller, Helen Mirren, Jonathan Van Ness, Winona Ryder, Marisa Tomei, Danielle Brooks, Tommy Davidson, Jordan Black, Marcella Arguello, Eddie Pepitone and Maya Rudolph.
Yup, that’s it.
So who’s who?...

Megan Thee Stallion and Helen Mirren are among the guest stars set for Sarah Cooper’s Netflix special entitled “Everything’s Fine.”
It is not yet known who the rapper and Oscar winner (respectively) will portray in the special streaming Oct. 27. But they are far from the only big-name special guests joining Cooper in sketches and interviews that comment on political and racial issues, as well as topics of gender and class. Other newly-announced guest stars for the special include Aubrey Plaza, Ben Stiller, Connie Chung, Danielle Brooks, Eddie Pepitone, Jane Lynch, Jonathan Van Ness, Jordan Black, Marcella Arguello, Maya Rudolph, Tommy Davidson, Whoopi Goldberg and Winona Ryder.
Comedian Cooper went viral a few months ago for her lip-synching videos on social media. The first was “How to Medical” in April 2020 and set Cooper down a path of portraying President Donald Trump as he talked about different aspects of the coronavirus pandemic.

Born in Manila, Philippines Nico Santos made his way stateside and studied acting in Oregon, but after one of his instructors told him he wouldn’t make it as an actor (how rude!), Santos remained acting adjacent, working in the costume department at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and eventually made his way to the stage as a stand-up comedian.
Pushing all naysayers aside, the path cleared ultimately lead to his role as the supercompetitive, shade-throwing Mateo in Superstore and his breakout role as the “rainbow sheep of the family” Oliver in the blockbuster Crazy Rich Asians, which has recently become the highest grossing romantic comedy in 10 years. I guess his teacher was wrong about him. Very wrong.
Santos, who is gay and an immigrant, is very much aware of his platform and uses his voice to contribute to Hollywood’s need for inclusive, intersectional storytelling. He sat in the hot...
