Tagline: "Some worlds are best left unexplored." Beyond Apollo is a sci-fi thriller from first time director Michael Grodner. The film is adapted from a novel by author Barry Malzberg. In the film, two astronauts are sent off to explore Venus and only one survives. The survivor knows little of what happened to his missing Captain. The film is an investigation of the solo crew member and his harrowing experiences. The first graphic has been released for Beyond Apollo. The movie poster warns viewers that "some worlds are best left unexplored." As well, a lone cosmonaut is seen hovering in space, with Venus, the red planet, looming in the background. A trailer will be released for this title soon and cast and crew details are below. Ali Larter (Resident Evil: Extinction), Scott Speedman (The Strangers) and Bill Pullman ("Torchwood") will notably star. Director: Michael Grodner. Writers: Michael Grodner and Barry N. Malzberg.

The Apollo missions have been the cause of much wonder and speculation, and a new feature based upon the book by author Barry N. Malzberg entitled Beyond Apollo is casting up and headed our way.
Directed by Michael Grodner, Beyond Apollo stars the recently signed Ali Larter ("Heroes", Resident Evil), Scott Speedman (Underworld), and Bill Pullman (Independence Day, The Serpent and the Rainbow, Lost Highway).
Produced by Aaron Ockman (Children of the Corn: Genesis, Hellraiser: Revelations), the interstellar terror tale now has the support of sales company Stealth Media Group with Cloverfield director Matt Reeves signing on as an executive producer. Principal photography is scheduled to begin in the fall.
