Andy Akinwolere has criticised the lack of black presenters on primetime television. The former Blue Peter presenter, who recently competed on Dancing on Ice, suggested that it is difficult for people from ethnic minorities to get a "big break". "So far as I can see, there are currently no black male or female primetime presenters and this strikes me as wrong," he told The Daily Telegraph. "I know many talented black comedians and television presenters, but they just don't get the big breaks. They might make it in music and in children's television, but it's just not happening in primetime." (more)...

An innovative and inspiring project, which uses money raised from Sport Relief to help change lives, opened its doors to no less than 11 famous faces last week.
The celebrity group consisted of Sport Relief supporters actress Barbara Windsor, actors David Tennant, Tom Ellis and Daniel Rigby, presenters Andy Akinwolere, Lizzie Cundy and Mark Austin, choreographer Arlene Phillips, Model Lara Stone, former England cricket captain Claire Taylor and celebrity psychologist Dr Linda Papadopoulos. And each of them felt deeply moved after seeing just how Sport Relief cash can change lives.
The London-based project, called Body & Soul, provides crucial facilities and support for people affected by HIV. With over 91,000 people in the UK living with the virus, Sport Relief is supporting the organisation to create a safe haven for people living with HIV and educate the public on the unfair stigma based around the infection.

Daniel Radcliffe stole the spotlight as he attended the premiere of "The Woman in Black" on January 24 in London, England. The Arthur Kipps depicter on the horror film oozed charm in a black double-breasted suit. To match his formal look, he neatly slicked back his hair.
Radcliffe was all smiles and took time to sign autographs for the crowd in the event held at the Royal Festival Hall. The 22-year-old British actor was joined by his co-star Liz White, who opted for an all-black ensemble and completed her look with a sparkling clutch bag.
Also stealing the attention were actors Roxanne Pallett and Jonathan Ross. The former hit the red carpet in a black strapless dress and a pair of open-toe heels, while the latter who tagged along with his wife Jane Goldman looked sharp in a navy suit.
The other cast members such as Janet McTeer and Sophie Stuckey unfortunately didn't attend the premiere.

Andy Akinwolere believes he still had more to give in 'Dancing On Ice'. He said: "The thing that's really strange is that you've learnt this new skill now and obviously you know the potential you've got and I don't care what anyone says - nobody feels ready to go out first. You never prepare yourself mentally and it still doesn't feel real at...

Andy Akinwolere has become the first celebrity to leave this year's series of Dancing on Ice. In the vote, Louie Spence backed the "more refined and polished" performance given by Range, but Katarina Witt saved Akinwolere after being impressed with how he managed his challenging routine. Addressing Range, she said: "Your second performance was more steady and better, but Andy as a celebrity and a non-skater it's more difficult to cover a (more)...
