War Machine Trailer #2 Brings Brad Pitt to Netflix

Netflix presents the brand new trailer for the highly-anticipated feature film War Machine, starring Brad Pitt, Emory Cohen, Topher Grace, Anthony Michael Hall, Will Poulter, Lakeith Stanfield, Meg Tilly, Tilda Swinton, and Sir Ben Kingsley. A film for our times, this absurdist tale and pitch-black war story takes on hot-shot General Glenn McMahon, a man caught up in a modern war machine that keeps on churning, seemingly to no end.

War Machine is the latest feature film from acclaimed director David Michod (Animal Kingdom). It will be released globally on Netflix on May 26, 2017.

In a film for our times, writer-director David Michod (Animal Kingdom) recreates a U.S. General's roller-coaster rise and fall as part reality, part savage parody - raising the specter of just where the line between them lies today. His is an anti-establishment, pro-soldier exploration in the form of an absurdist war story of a born leader's

Monsters vs. Aliens Director To Helm Live-Action, Found Footage Horror Flick

Writer-director Rob Letterman built his film career with a string of family-friendly flicks, from the animated adventures Shark Tale and Monsters vs Aliens to his first live-action effort Gulliver's Travels. Now the Hollywood Reporter reveals Letterman has inked a deal with Syfy Films that will give him a shot at more mature material. The newly created offshoot of Universal has acquired Letterman's script The Paranormalists, and the former kiddie flick crafter is attached to direct. Produced by Brian Grazer, Kim Roth and Sarah Bowen of the Universal-based Imagine Entertainment, the film will be a found-footage horror feature that focuses on a group of young people who enter a rumored haunted house with aims of debunking its reputation. As you can imagine, things don't go as they plan. While little else about The Paranormalists's plot is being released, it seems to be inspired by televisions supernatural-themed reality series like Ghost Hunters

Universal's Paranormalists Confirmed

About three months ago Bloody Disgusting reported that a new found footage flick was on its way from Universal called Paranormalists. After that we heard nothing. Now today confirmation has finally come.

Variety reports that Universal Pictures' Syfy Films has acquired Paranormalists, a pitch from Rob Letterman (Monsters Vs. Aliens), who is also attached to write and direct the project.

Imagine Entertainment's Brian Grazer will produce, while Kim Roth and Sarah Bowen will exec produce. Gregory Noveck, Syfy's senior VP of production, will oversee the project on behalf of the studio.

The storyline, which is in the vein of the "Ghost Hunters" reality series, follows two stoners and a tech guy who stumble upon some paranormal activity for the first time. More as it comes, but I say again, didn't we already kind of/sort of see this with Grave Encounters?

Take Me Home Tonight Trailer And Preview Images

Take Me Home Tonight, starring Topher Grace, Anna Faris, Dan Fogler and Teresa Palmer opens nationwide on March 4th, 2011, and I want to give you a little preview. While this isn't the sort of thing that would normally jump onto my radar, I'm generally a fan of Topher Grace, and there's something about the recent MIT grad who works at the video store that resonates oddly with me.

Take a look at the trailer and a couple images, as well as the official synopsis below, and let me know what you think of this one. I think there's some potential here, though it may just be a brilliant job of putting together a trailer, and if nothing else, I'm interested to know what Grace and Anna Faris can make out of the thing.

As the summer of 1988 winds down, three friends on the verge of adulthood attend an out-of-control party
