Emma Slater and Sasha Farber are going their separate ways. On Tuesday, the Dancing With the Stars pro filed for divorce from her husband of four years, court docs obtained by Et show.
In the Los Angeles filing, Slater cites “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, and requests that neither she nor Farber receive financial support after their divorce.
Slater additionally says that she and Farber are having an “uncontested divorce” and “intend on amicably resolving all property issues in a subsequent Stipulated Judgment of Dissolution of Marriage.”
Et has reached out to Slater and Farber for comment.
The docs list April 1, 2022 as Slater and Farber’s date of separation. Fans, however, learned of the pair’s separation in August 2022, after the couple sparked split speculation when they stopped popping up on each other’s Instagram pages.

Updated: Hours after The Wall Street Journal reported that Kristin Dolan, the wife of James Dolan, was a candidate for CEO of AMC Networks, she officially has the top job. Kristin Dolan will begin as chief executive officer on February 27, according to a Wednesday-afternoon SEC Filing; her term is currently scheduled to last at least to March 31, 2026.
Before serving on the AMC Networks board and her work at the data-analytics firm 605, Kristin Dolan worked as Cablevision’s chief operating officer from 2014 to 2016.
Original story follows:
Last November, AMC Networks CEO Christina Spade left the company after less than three months on the job. Shortly afterwards, company chairman James L. Dolan assumed the temporary role of interim executive chairman while the board of directors looks for a suitable chief executive. They didn’t have to stray too far away from home, because Dolan’s wife is apparently one of the top candidates for the job.

Film director and New York Knicks superfan Spike Lee has blasted Madison Square Garden security for hassling Patrick Ewing, the Georgetown basketball coach who was involved in an incident earlier this week.
Ewing, a Knicks legend whose jersey hangs in the rafters of the world’s most famous arena, claimed he was “accosted” by security on Thursday while he prepared to coach Georgetown in the Big East Tournament.
Lee underwent similar problems with Msg security before, and vented on ESPN’s First Take that hassling Ewing at the Garden was inexcusable. Lee’s incident occurred when he was asked to use another entrance to the arena instead of the employee’s entrance that he claimed he had used for 28 years.
“I’m not blaming this on [James] Dolan,” Lee said referring to the Knicks owner and Madison Square Garden Sports and Madison Square Garden Entertainment and executive chairman of Msg Networks.

It’s not a “Dancing with the Stars” finale without the season’s eliminated celebrities returning, but it won’t be a full house this time. All but one star will be in attendance for Monday’s show: Carole Baskin.
It’s nothing scandalous: The “Tiger King” star returned to Florida after her Week 2 elimination and can’t travel to L.A. because of Covid-19 restrictions, according to “Entertainment Tonight.”
All of the other 10 axed stars will be back in the ballroom, including Jeannie Mai, who withdrew from the show on Nov. 2 after undergoing emergency surgery for epiglottitis, a potentially life-threatening condition in which the cartilage over the windpipe becomes inflamed. The other nine are Charles Oakley, Anne Heche, Jesse Metcalfe, Vernon Davis, Monica Aldama, Chrishell Stause, Aj McLean, Johnny Weir and Skai Jackson.

Who was eliminated during season 29 of “Dancing with the Stars.” The competition series carried on with a new host (Tyra Banks) and a new judge amid the Covid-19 pandemic with precautions in place to protect the health of the participants. But that didn’t keep everyone safe from the chopping block. Scroll down for the complete list of eliminations, updating every week as contestants are booted from the show.

Dancing With the Stars threw it all the way back to the '80s with its latest episode on Monday night, and it sent another couple packing.
Jesse Metcalfe and pro dancing partner were sent home after falling into the bottom two with Vernon Davis and Peta Murgatroyd.
Fortunately, there were no more voting hiccups that caused the problems last week, and the judges voted unanimously to save Venon and Peta.
Burgess and Metcalfe were both surprised to be exiting, and it makes sense.
They have been a great duo since appearing on the season premiere last month, and have been building their ability throughout the season.
The duo reacted to their ouster to Entertainment Tonight shortly after exiting the series for the last time.
"I think the journey was cut short a bit but everything that's meant to be will be and this was the end of the road for me.

Dancing With the Stars fans could breathe a sigh of relief on Monday night, for there would be no feline-themed performances that felt akin to a psychedelic trip. No Viennese waltzes performed to “Memory” from Cats, no foxtrots set to Katy Perry’s “Roar,” and, hopefully for the rest of Season 29, no velvet onesies for any reason whatsoever.

The two lowest scoring “Dancing with the Stars” celebrities have already been eliminated with the ousters of Charles Oakley and Carole Baskin. So in a season so close that one contestant went from the top of the judges’ leaderboard to the bottom in the space of a week, even the slightest misstep could be the difference between staying in the competition and going home. So what happened when the “Top 13” performed? Scroll down for our live blog with all the minute-by-minute developments and commentary as they happen.
The balance of power has shifted dramatically over the course of the first three weeks of the show: five different celebs have topped the leaderboard with no repeats so far. Skai Jackson and Justina Machado shared the top spot in the season premiere. Then Kaitlyn Bristowe overcame ankle pain to rule week two. And Nev Schulman and Johnny Weir rose to the top on “Disney Night.

Alfonso Ribeiro was one of the most vocal people calling for “Dancing with the Stars” to overhaul its voting system after Bobby Bones‘ polarizing win in 2018. It did, and now he has nothing but good things to say about the current format. “I love the fact that they made that change,” the former champ told “TV Insider.”
After Bones’ victory — buoyed by his large fan base that overcame his low scores — Ribeiro suggested that “Dancing” mimic the U.K.’s “Strictly Come Dancing,” which has the bottom two couples perform again, and the judges decide who’s eliminated. “Dancing” doesn’t do the dance-off, but the new system, implemented last year, allows the judges to vote between the bottom two.

Martin wasn’t surprised about Baskin’s ouster: “Once we found that she was in the bottom last week with [Charles Oakley, who was eliminated], to me it just showed that she didn’t have the support from viewers and fans like past controversial stars that appeared on the show. Three weeks into Dancing With the Stars‘ newest season, the show’s creative team is standing by its controversial change in host.
During a virtual press event with reporters on Wednesday, executive producer Andrew Llinares commented on the decision to replace Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews with Tyra Banks, calling the move a necessary “evolution” for the show.

Carole Baskin survived last week’s elimination on “Dancing with the Stars,” but you can’t say the judges didn’t pounce to boot her with a unanimous vote when she landed in the bottom two again on Monday. But she does not have her claws out for them.
“I don’t feel shocked at all,” Baskin told “Entertainment Tonight” about her elimination. “The people who stayed on the show can really, really dance, and that’s what the show is all about.”
The “Tiger King” star kept up with her cat theme for the third week in a row, performing a samba with Pasha Pashkov to “Circle of Life” from “The Lion King” (1994) for Disney Night. The judges commended her for her effort, but noted how the dance was too slow to resemble a proper samba and had virtually no rolls. She scored a 12, just one point higher than...

I’ll say this much for Carole Baskin: she knew her brand on “Dancing with the Stars” and leaned into it with good humor. Known for her devotion to exotic cats on “Tiger King” (and accused of less savory things in the true-crime documentary series), she gave feline-themed performances in all three weeks she spent in the competition. So it was fitting that she ended her run on “Disney Night” dressed in a head-to-toe lion costume for her routine to “Circle of Life” from “The Lion King.” Watch it above.
Baskin got off on the wrong foot this season, earning the lowest score in the season premiere episode for her “Eye of the Tiger” paso doble. The next week she improved enough with her Viennese waltz that the judges decided to keep her in the competition after she landed in the bottom two (they booted Charles Oakley instead). But...

“I was actually surprised that Carole was in the bottom two considering the fact that she was one of the more high-profile celebrities when the cast was announced,” says Cordell Martin about “Tiger King” subject Carole Baskin‘s near-elimination on “Dancing with the Stars” at the end of “First Elimination” night. Martin discussed the first ouster with me and Jeffrey Kare. Watch our discussion above.

Martin expected Baskin to advance safely through the early weeks of the competition like other controversial figures in seasons past — remember Sean Spicer? So he gives credit to fans for actually voting in line with the judges scores. Baskin was at the bottom of the leaderboard with Charles Oakley, and “between those two, you pretty much had to choose the lesser of two evils,” says Kare regarding their low-scoring dance routines.

Carole Baskin and Charles Oakley landed in the bottom two in the second week of “Dancing with the Stars” after judges’ scores were combined with viewer votes. But when those judges had to decide who to save and who to eliminate, they made perhaps a surprising choice: they booted the basketball star and kept the cat lady. But according to the combined predictions of “DWTS” fans who have placed their bets in our prediction center, she may not have nine lives.

Derek Hough was in put in the hot seat on Tuesday’s “Dancing with the Stars” as he was forced to cast the deciding judges’ vote on who to save between Carole Baskin and Charles Oakley while the live show was drawing to a close. And yes, he was feeling the pressure.
After Carrie Ann Inaba picked Baskin and her partner Pasha Pashkov, and Bruno Tonioli chose Oakley and his partner Emma Slater, host Tyra Banks repeatedly implored Hough to cast the tiebreaker “quickly.” The six-time champ rapidly spouted, “Charles, I love you so much. The couple I’m gonna save is Carole and Pasha.”

Things weren’t looking too promising for Chrishell Stause after the first episode of “Dancing with the Stars” season 29. She struggled with her tango in the premiere, so it seemed like she might have been at risk of an early elimination. But she drastically improved in week two, so now I’m wondering if she might follow in the footsteps of season one Mirror Ball champion Kelly Monaco. The two have a lot in common.
For starters, both women are Emmy-nominated soap stars. Monaco earned a Best Supporting Actress bid for “Port Charles” in 2003 before winning “DWTS” in 2005, and then she contended for Best Actress for “General Hospital” in 2006. Meanwhile, Stause got her start on “All My Children” in 2005 and has also appeared on “The Young and the Restless” and “Days of Our Lives,” earning an Emmy nom just this year for Best Guest Performer for “Days.”

Keep coming for Tyra Banks all you want, but she’s going to remain unbothered. In a TikTok video following Tuesday’s episode of “Dancing with the Stars,” the host addressed the hate she’s been getting on social media after flubbing some lines on the show.

Basketball player Charles Oakley and “Tiger King” animal activist Carole Baskin had the lowest scores on “Dancing with the Stars” when you combined the first two weeks’ performances, and viewer votes didn’t save them because they ended up as the bottom two on “First Elimination” night. But just like last season, it was up to the judges to decide which of them should stay and which of them should go. In a split decision, they kept Baskin in the competition and sent the NBA star packing. Was that the right call? We asked our readers, so scroll down to see the complete poll results.

After skipping Monday this week, Dancing With the Stars returned to ABC on Tuesday night, and it marked the end of the line for a couple.
Yes, it was the first elimination, but before that, we had some more dancing, and there were some big surprised on the night.
Let's break down the latest performances before finding out which couples were left in jeopardy, and at the mercy of the judges.
Nev Schulman and pro Jenna Johnson (Cha-Cha)
Nev continued to surprise during his second performance with Jenna. He seemed poised to be an early contender for the boot.
But he showed great improvement in week two, and both performers felt natural together. They may be the ones to watch.
They scored 21/30.
Skai Jackson and pro Alan Bersten (Samba)
Skai was an unsurprising success in week one, but something was terribly wrong with this performance.

In the season premiere of “Dancing with the Stars,” Skai Jackson tied for the top of the judges’ leaderboard, and then she shot to the top of our Mirror Ball Trophy predictions. But anything can happen on live TV, and Jackson lost her footing during one maneuver in week two. It was clear she wouldn’t be getting scores as high as she got for her first routine, but the numbers she got were still pretty shockingly low. Do you agree? Watch her routine above and decide for yourself.
It was surprising in and of itself that Jackson was dancing a samba. That’s arguably the most difficult dance style on the show, so it’s an especially tall order for the second week of the competition. During one complicated move she got so tangled with her pro partner Alan Bersten that she nearly toppled completely over. She recovered pretty quickly,...

Dancing With the Stars has said farewell to its first star. In the second week of season 29, after a second round of dances and a whole show's worth of voting, new host Tyra Banks announced the first elimination of the season. We'd like to say we were shocked, but it all played out pretty much exactly as we thought it would. The rule remains that the judges get to decide which of the bottom two dancers will be sent home, and tonight, their choice was between Charles Oakley and Carole Baskin. Carole improved a fair amount this week, and while she and Charles ended up with the same total scores, it was the improvement that Carrie Ann Inaba and Derek Hough chose to reward, sending Charles...

Dancing With the Stars aired on a different night for its second week of competition, but the result was the same: One unlucky couple got the boot, bidding farewell to the Season 29 ballroom and its phantom crowd noises.
In the meantime, host Tyra Banks pulled off yet another costume change (for reasons I’m not sure I understand), the judges introduced their first “8” of the season (and so soon!), and we learned that when these contestants aren’t performing, they’re doing a lot of texting from the rafters.

“Dancing with the Stars” voting is dramatically different for season 29. ABC has gotten rid of overnight voting. Instead, it will be live and timed to those tuning in to “DWTS” in the Eastern and Central time zones. Only those watching the show as it airs east of the Mississippi will get to weigh in with their votes. But don’t despair if you live in the Mountain and Pacific time zones: follow along with our live blog and you’ll know when voting opens for your favorite couples.
Online voting will open when the show begins at 8 p.m. Et/7 p.m. Ct and will close during the last commercial break of the live Et/Ct broadcast, shortly after all couples have danced. Carole Baskin received the lowest score during the season premiere episode of “Dancing with the Stars,” so she’s a goner when the first celeb is eliminated in week two, right? Not necessarily. The fans we’ve surveyed here in our predictions center say she’s definitely at risk, but they predict another celebrity will be sent home instead, and there’s good reason to think so.
The second lowest scorer of night one, basketball legend Charles Oakley, is the star our readers expect to get the boot first. He gets leading 71/20 odds of being eliminated from the competition. NBA veterans haven’t done as well on the show as athletes from other disciplines like football, gymnastics and ice skating, in part because the height difference between them and their pro partners can be difficult to work around. Did we call it or did we call it? Carole Baskin will hit the floor for her second dance on “Dancing with the Stars” to yet another kitty-themed song: “What’s New Pussycat” by Tom Jones. Tptb can’t stop, won’t stop.
The “Tiger King” star and Pasha Pashkov have the Viennese waltz, which might be slow enough to help them improve on their score of 11 for their paso doble on the premiere. The Viennese waltz is one of seven dances on deck for Week 2 — foxtrot, samba, tango, rumba, cha-cha and jive being the others.
Busting out the tough samba and rumba this early feels wrong, but Skai Jackson has the former and Justina Machado has the latter. They topped the leaderboard Week 1, each with a 21, and all signs so far point to them being able to handle whatever Alan Bersten and Sasha Farber, respectively, throw at them. The first week of scores on Dancing With the Stars is always rough, but it's definitely worse if you're one of the first dancers up on the first night with no audience. Chrishell Stause and her pro partner, Gleb Savchenko, had the disadvantage of going second during Monday's premiere, and while Chrishell did not nail the frame necessary to dance the tango, she wasn't that bad. It certainly didn't seem like she was deserving of the level of the critiques or the scores the judges were handing out. Carole Baskin faced scrutiny on “Tiger King” over the disappearance of her husband Don Lewis in 1997, and Lewis’ family reignited the mystery with a commercial that aired during Baskin’s debut on “Dancing With the Stars.”
The commercial aired during the “Dancing With the Stars” telecast Monday night in Tampa and Jacksonville, as well as other markets, Variety has confirmed. Lewis’ daughters, former assistant and family attorney asked that viewers with any information on Lewis’ disappearance or Baskin’s alleged involvement reach out to a tip line. They also said a $100,000 reward has been funded for the investigation.
Lewis’ disappearance became a hotly debated topic after people watched “Tiger King” on Netflix earlier this year. Many viewers, including several people interviewed on “Tiger King,” have alleged that Baskin killed Lewis by feeding him to tigers and disposing of any evidence in a meat grinder. “Dancing with the Stars” has already announced how voting will work for the season 29 premiere, including the fact that no one will be eliminated this week and that this week’s judges’ scores will be combined with next week’s scores and viewer votes to determine the first ouster of the season. For all the changes “Dancing with the Stars” is undergoing for Season 29, it’s still as predictable as ever. Because “Tiger King” star Carole Baskin is performing the paso doble to Survivor‘s “Eye of the Tiger,” so you can cover that spot on your bingo card now. Back in March, Derek Hough was on the set of NBC’s “World of Dance” as the competition series wrapped up its fourth season, squeaking out the finale episode just before productions shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“We actually pushed the finale a day early, and then they decided to have no audience for the finale,” Hough told Variety. “Because it was like a last-minute thing, we didn’t even know. It did feel a little weird in the ballroom, in the room. But the magic of television to create that energy [with] pyros, sound effects and all these different things, you can still capture that energy.”
Now, Hough joins the judging panel of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” alongside Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli.. Hough will be sitting eight-feet apart from his fellow judges at a newly redesigned table, which is one of the features of the ballroom’s new look.

Derek Hough is taking over for Len Goodman on “Dancing with the Stars,” but his judging style won’t be exactly like that of everyone’s favorite curmudgeonly head judge.
“I think I’ll be a fair judge, I’ll be a fun judge. I’ve been on the show 17 seasons, and there’s nothing they’ll be going through that I haven’t gone through before, so I understand.”
A six-time champ, Hough left “Dancing” after Season 23 in 2016 and has since served as a judge on NBC’s “World of Dance,” so he’s no stranger to handing out critiques. Goodman is unable to travel from his native U.

The dance must go on, even in these coronavirus times. “Dancing with the Stars” will return with its 29th season this fall, but it’ll look very different — not just because there won’t be a studio audience.
Here’s everything we know about the 29th installment so far.
It has a premiere date
Despite Covid-19, “Dancing” will maintain its usual mid-to-late September premiere and is scheduled to launch Monday, Sept. 14 at 8/7c. Producers had been aiming for a September premiere pending approval of its health and safety protocols and other factors. Production details have not yet been announced.
Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews are out!
In July, Bergeron, who’s hosted the show since its inception in 2005, revealed on Twitter that he was dropped. ABC and BBC Studios later confirmed that Andrews, who joined in 2014, was out as well as the show heads into a “new creative direction.”
Tyra Banks is in!

After five seasons away, Derek Hough is coming back to “Dancing with the Stars” — as a judge.
The six-time champ will join Og judges Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli to dole out critiques and scores for Season 29, ABC announced Tuesday. He is replacing head judge Len Goodman, who is unable to travel from his home in the U.K. to Los Angeles because of Covid-19, but will be part of the show in a different capacity. Goodman had said in June that he was concerned he wouldn’t be able to travel to the U.S., so this is not an entirely shocking turn of events.
“This show has been and will always be incredibly special to me,” Hough said in a statement. “Coming back feels like coming home and I couldn’t be more excited to be back in the ballroom.”
