Rihanna took on bridesmaid duties at her assistant's wedding in Honolulu on Monday. Looking picture-perfect in a lavender Badgley Mischka dress, the singer made her way up the grass aisle while holding a bouquet of fresh flowers. Meanwhile, bride Jennifer Morales wore a sleeveless white gown, and the groom donned a classic tux. The celebration, which fell on April 20, also had its share of marijuana-themed moments. Rihanna was sure to take her Instagram followers inside the fun celebration on the beach, posting a snap of her holding what might be a joint. "bridesmaids. #davis420wedding," she wrote in the caption. Rihanna also let loose before the nuptials, wearing a pink "bridesmaid" robe for laughs with the bride, who had a custom "Mrs. Davis" robe in white. The Hawaiian getaway comes in the middle of a busy chapter for the singer. She's been busy promoting her eighth album, following up the...

In 1995, Toy Story became a real game-changer. For one thing, it launched Pixar, an animation studio that has since established a reputation for being among the best in the world. For another, it raised the bar for computer animation, and for what audiences could expect from cartoons. Toy Story is a movie that still appeals to children and adults, and through its sequels it wove a story so complex and beautiful that fans are still mining it for Easter eggs and hidden gems. Well, a tip of the cowboy hat is owed to Jon Negroni, who composed the unifying Pixar theory. This time he thinks he has uncovered a curious subplot threaded through the Toy Story movies. And it all has to do with Andy's mother. Voiced by Laurie Metcalf, Andy's Mom (or Mrs. Davis as she is credited in the film) gets little screen time over the...

Poor Indiana Jones. He's worthless. Pointless. Irrelevant. Or is he?
It's been decades since I've watched Raiders of the Lost Ark, so I wasn't completely sure of the accuracy of Amy's comment. That made the unfolding of the ongoing joke and question in "The Raiders Minimization" enjoyable for me to watch. And I'm intrigued enough to hunt down the movie and watch it again as soon as I have time.
Almost without a doubt, the guys are never questioned when it comes to their geek cred and they do generally know their stuff. So, for Amy to raise the question of Indy's relevance and for them to take it seriously was an intriguing twist to the show. In the kitchen scene with Sheldon, she was convinced of her point of view and didn't waiver a bit.
When Sheldon brought the argument to the guys, they attempted to come up with...

Can you believe The Big Bang Theory has been on for seven seasons? Seven seasons is no walk in the park even for a traditional sitcom on CBS. But America loves Sheldon! And Jim Parsons delivers on his Emmy gold as he continues to play the brilliant but socially challenged Sheldon Cooper.
The season starts off with Leonard still away on a Stephen Hawking sea expedition. Sheldon is not happy about it, not one bit. He’s even dreaming of sea monsters attacking Leonard — or worse — DVDs in the wrong cases. The horror! Sheldon steals over to Penny’s apartment across the hall,...

The Big Bang Theory season 7 premiere picked up with Leonard still on the ship, supposedly working on a research project for Stephen Hawking in similar fashion to how Howard was still in space at the beginning of season 6.
However, Leonard's experience at sea was as opposite as it could be from Howard's. Instead of being bullied and isolated, Leonard was literally the life of the party.
Raj can finally speak to women! It's a relief that it wasn't a temporary cure. Finally, Raj will be able to have real interactions with woman and grow as a character.
Poor Mrs. Davis. How does she continue to work in Human Resources with these scientists around without going crazy. Though, Raj's inappropriate comment about her marriage and penguins was nothing compared to Sheldon's sexist and racist remarks. If it wasn't entirely inappropriate because of her position, a relationship with Raj could be quite funny.

Everyone's favorite nerds are finally back!
Season 7 of "The Big Bang Theory" premiered on Thursday (Sept. 26), and, after a summer separated from the gang, Leonard (Johnny Galecki) returned home from his expedition at sea. But what changes did he come home to?
Well, the biggest change? Raj (Kunal Nayyar) if officially talking to women without drinking! After his heartbreaking split with Lucy last season, the writer's chose to move forward with Raj's progress, which is such a relief. Though sitcom characters rarely evolve, this was one that was necessary. Watching him awkwardly flirt was charming, adding a new element to the character. Plus, if his interaction with Regina King's Mrs. Davis didn't exactly spark, there were definitely some embers.
Another change? Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) bonded even further in Leonard's absence. Though the odd couple pairing of these two has become a hallmark of the series,...

The Big Bang Theory opened its seventh season with Lenoard, braving a fierce storm in the middle of the North Sea, getting swallowed up by a kraken.

In reality, the sequence was but a figment of Sheldon’s anguished imagination. You see, he misses his good buddy something terrible. Only he’s not willing to admit it to himself. Or anyone — not even Penny, who is essentially in the same boat.

Regina King is returning to "The Big Bang Theory," a rep confirmed to The Huffington Post.
The "Southland" alumna will reprise her role as Mrs. Davis, the director of human resources at Caltech, where Sheldon (Jim Parsons), Leonard (Johnny Galecki), Howard (Simon Helberg) and Raj (Kunal Nayyar) work, in the CBS hit comedy's upcoming seventh season.
King last appeared on "The Big Bang Theory" when Sheldon wound up getting in trouble in a Season 6 episode of "The Big Bang Theory." He got upset when his assistant Alex (Margo Harshman) flirted with Leonard, so he confronted her about it, telling her she's unable to control her urges to reproduce, and even showed her offensive pictures of genitalia riddled with disease.
Cue King's Mrs. Davis, who called Sheldon into human resources, where he made things worse. "I meant that all women are slaves to their biological urges, ya know? Even you. You’re a slave,...

It's time for the guys to compete again. In "The Tenure Turbulence," a tenured professor was found dead in his office and that means his position is now open and ready for the taking. Let's take a moment to mourn the professor. He was dead in his office for two weeks before he was found. Very sad.
This episode reminded me of another of my favorites from The Big Bang Theory season 6 when Sheldon and Howard fought over a parking spot in "The Parking Lot Escalation."
The one-upsmanship between the guys for the tenure position cracked me up. This show is at its funniest when the guys and girls are all together for a good portion of the episode.
After finding out about the tenure position, there was round robin discussion in each of the households. Sheldon discussed it with Amy. She was her normal supportive girlfriend. And, Sheldon actually acknowledged it.

Given Sheldon’s general lack of anything close to resembling appropriate social skills, I’m not at all surprised to learn he will be sat down by the head of human resources at the university he’s employed at for a talk regarding his attractive assistant Alex (Margo Harshman). And, once again, given Sheldon’s lack of social skills, I hardly think Sheldon has gotten himself in trouble for sexually harassing someone in a position ripe for such a thing. I mean, with Margo Harshman as your assistant, how could you not at least think about taking that out for a test ride. But Sheldon isn’t built for that, so this meeting is about something else.

New Iron Man 3 mystery character casting details revealed. According to a new report from Collider, the Iron Man 3 movie peeps have brought on another actress to appear in the film. Her name is Dale Dickey. You might recognize her from this season of HBO's True Blood as she plays the mother of a dead werewolf pack leader. Her Iron Man 3 character is listed as Mrs. Davis. Unfortunately, no other info was given as the film is trying to keep everything under tight wraps. Dickey also made the following statement about how she can't reveal anything: " I’m filming now. That’s it. They asked my agent not to put anything in the trades when I was cast over a month ago, so they are trying to keep as much mystery as possible." The movie stars: Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Jon Favreau, Ben Kingsley, Guy Pearce,...

Despite the fact that "Iron Man 3" has been filming for a couple of months now, there's surprisingly little we know about the movie. And it seems as though that's how Marvel executives would like to keep it.
Take for instance "Winter's Bone" actress Dale Dickey, who apparently was cast back when filming began but is only now talking about her involvement. She spilled the news to a local Knoxville, Tennessee blog on July 27, and admitted that she was supposed to keep her involvement hush-hush.

If the opening moments of the One Tree Hill season 9 premiere didn't make it clear that these characters were going to face severe consequences over the next few weeks, then the final minutes of "Love the Way You Lie" certainly did.
Julian Baker, one of the few people in Tree Hill that we have been able to count on for stability over the past couple years, got a bit too excited about the prospect of producing a television show at his way too empty sound stage, and might be paying the ultimate price for it.

Oh Hawaii Five-0 (TV), how I've missed you. Your snark, your very pretty cast, your epic bromance; it's cruel to be kept away from your awesome for so long. And there were so many hilarious things to enjoy in this episode, I don't know where to start without sounding like a fangirl – which I am. Superheroes, ComicCon, high-speed beach chases, and of course, the long awaited return of arch nemeses. A mother and yet another annoying kid are enjoying the pool outside a hotel when a body crashes into a tent. The body is Superman – or actually, Superman's much lamer cousin who can't actually fly, Splatman. But before we get into why some guy in tights does a swan-dive off the tenth floor, let's get some bromance. Specifically, Steve (Alex O'Loughlin) doesn't like it when Danny (Scott Caan) has secrets, namely, the contents of his lunch. Watching them fighting over...
