The latest trailer for "Deadpool & Wolverine" suggests the movie might be even more of a cameo-fest than we'd previously predicted.
Hugh Jackman is back as Logan, of course, and he's bringing leftover characters from the erstwhile 20th Century Fox's Marvel Universe. We already knew Elektra (Jennifer Garner), Pyro (Aaron Stanford), and Toad would be back. So will Wolverine's archenemy Sabretooth, perhaps finally giving Logan a chance at closure.
Around the 1:50 minute mark of the new trailer, you were probably focused on the decapitated head of a Giant Man variant (his rotting skull concealed within his ant-styled helmet). I'm much more curious about the characters standing beneath this makeshift base, who look to be familiar (mutant) faces from previous "X-Men" films: Yuriko Oyama/Lady Deathstrike from "X2" and Azazel from "X-Men: First Class."
Both are seen at too far a distance to determine if their previous actors...

This week I will be revisiting the items from my X-Men sale that were first listed in Week 45. I am using an old Wizard Magazine this time around, as well as the grades and values on Zap Kapow Comics to come at the same issues with a fresh approach. Also this time round there are some new items joining the comics in the X-Men sale (yes I’m still scratching this trading card itch)! Depending on the amount of views/watchers I get on my listings, this will be the last time I list my X-Men comics until the characters join the MCU. Obviously I know I don’t have any key issues, but they are all good to high grade so waiting might be the way to go. I know it is unlikely the MCU is going to directly adapt any of the issues I have but the big...

Kieron Gillen is coming back to Marvel, and his new project is a really big deal.
The Eternals are simultaneously Jack Kirby’s weirdest and most straightforward creations, and with them coming to the big screen in February, bringing them back to the comics makes a ton of sense. Pairing Gillen with Esad Ribic shows Marvel is not messing around with it.
“I said if I was ever to do a book again at Marvel, it would have to be something I’ve never done before. This is exactly that. This is me teaming up with literally my favourite artist of the epic, taking one of those lightning-storm Kirby visions and re-making it to be as new as the day it was forged,” Gillen said in a statement. “While Esad makes whole worlds on the page, I’m applying all the skills I’ve developed when I was away. It’s a lot.

The full trailer has been released for DreamWorks Animation's new She-Ra and The Princesses of Power animated series. As you’ll see, this series was made for a whole new generation of kids. This really isn’t for anyone who grew up with the old badass cartoons of the 80s. But, I’m sure it will find a new young audience that will embrace and enjoy. But, I do have to say that my 10-year-old daughter rolled her eyes at this and isn’t impressed.

Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for DreamWorks Animation's new series She-Ra and The Princesses of Power. The spot offers us our first footage from the series and it focuses on Adora finding out her true destiny. I also have to say that her transformation into She-Ra definitely has a Sailor Moon kind of style to it.

Netflix has released a collection of images giving us our first look at Dreamworks Animation's new series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. The new series certainly has its own style and I'm sure it will work with what they are doing, but it's still very different from the cartoons and animation style that we grew up with.
The images show off several main characters from the upcoming series, including Adora and the titular She-Ra voiced by Aimee Carrero (Elena of Avalor), Glimmer voiced by Karen Fukuhara (Suicide Squad), Bow voiced by Marcus Scribner (black-ish), and Catra voiced by Aj Michalka (The Goldbergs). Then there's another image shows off Bright Moon Castle, the capital of Etheria and home-base to the Rebellion.

Here it is, after a needless and mysterious six month delay, Uncanny X-Men #600 has finally been released. There are two prevailing theories as to why Marvel chose to push back the release date from May, the time that all their series were wrapping up, to November, when Marvel was in the midst of creating their new status quo. Marvel either wanted to use this anniversary issue as a springboard to their new status quo but feared that the six month gap between the original release date and the debut of their all-new #1’s may cause readers to lose interest.

With Scott Snyder’s Batman Year Zero origin story beginning a new arc on his run of Batman this week, we thought we would look back to our own origin stories, tracing back to how we entered into the world of comics. Sure, the Sound On Sight comics team may not have origin stories as epic as some of the superheroes out there, but going back is a great way to look at how we were all introduced to comics, and why we write about them today. Here’s how it all began…

Ok, enough talking about myself in the third person.

“We are each our own devil, and we make this world our hell”--Oscar Wilde --> Who is Azazel? Azazel is a demonic-looking mutant and leader of the Neyaphem, he was banished to a dimensional void due to his appearance. Becoming bitter at what he considered "Normal-looking" mutants, Azazel began fathering children with mutants bearing strange appearances, one of whom would become Nightcrawler, as a part of his overall plan to escape the void. His first appearance was in Uncanny X-Men #428, during "The Draco" storyline. He was created by Chuck Austen and Sean Phillips. First Appearance Azazel explains to his son, Nightcrawler, how their power works. Azazel claims to be the devil that is referred to by many religious texts. The scriptwriters who worked on two of Marvel Studio's three major releases, May's Thor and this month's X-Men: First Class (although how much of their final work made it to the screen in that case is open to debate, as director Matthew Vaughn contends that the final shooting script was his and Jane Goldman's), brought a comic attitude to the plethora of panels held as part of May's London McM expo. Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz jovially responded to a geekish inquisition about the characters and themes of their latest work, with equal enthusiasm for the subject matter.

Jason Flemyng has signed on to join the cast of Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class. The news was revealed at Movie Con in the UK (found on ComingSoon), where it was revealed that Flemyng will play Azazel, a teleporting mutant who later becomes Nightcrawler's father. The new poster for Iron Man 2 (launched on Yahoo Movies) prominently features War Machine, Iron Man's partner-in-Armor. This has me incredibly excited. I love War Machine. Because of an accident of timing, I've always thought of War Machine as the original armored hero. Iron Man is just a pale, more colorful imitation. Let me explain. I grew up during a bizarro-world phase of comic book history when practically every major iconic character was being killed or otherwise eliminated to make way for a newer model, usually with some kind of chic mecha-costume add-on that would look great on an action figure.
