Julia Bradbury is to leave the BBC for a new show on ITV, it has been announced.
The TV presenter has hosted BBC One's Countryfile for almost five years, while she has also fronted Fightback Britain and Watchdog in the past.
She will now host a programme about camping around Britain's landscape on rival channel ITV.
Bradbury told Hello! magazine of her new role: "I go camping on screen and wake up at 6am and people see me peeping out of a sleeping bag wearing a beanie,so it's not about looking glamorous and young."
She continued: "[It was] something I couldn't afford to turn down at this stage in my life and career. I've been heavily [involved] in the development of this one, so it's very close to my heart."

Catwoman was a critical a misfire for Warner in 2004, but that doesn't mean we haven't found a few remarkable things to say about it...
A Catwoman movie was originally announced in 1993, shortly after Michelle Pfeiffer's scene-stealing incarnation of the character in Batman Returns the previous year. But somewhere between its announcement and its eventual release in 2004, something mysterious happened. Michelle Pfeiffer left the project. Ashley Judd was attached and then detached, and a sum total of 28 screenwriters got involved in the script. And at some point in that creative process, poor Catwoman was effectively written out of her own movie.
The Catwoman we got was a weird mish-mash of The Crow and The Devil Wears Prada, with Halle Berry's incarnation of the heroine almost unrecognisable from both the comics and the version in Tim Burton's Batman Returns. Described by one critic...

Samsung is facing a Watchdog investigation over allegations that it misled consumers about the amount of storage space that its Galaxy S4 smartphone offers.
The 16Gb model of the Android device has as much as 50% of its memory taken up by pre-installed software, such as the Android operating system and the Korean firm's own extras.
Software features billed as the Galaxy S4's headline upgrades, such as eye tracking, air gestures and universal remote functionality, account for much of the occupied storage space.
Samsung's Galaxy S4 offers expandable storage through microSD support, but the Anne Robinson-hosted consumer rights show will examine whether the firm should have been clearer about how much usable space the phone offers out of the box.
The BBC's teaser for the episode states: "[Samsung] claims its brand new Galaxy phone has an extra large memory - what did it forget to mention?"
