Actress Miranda Rae Mayo shared some Chicago Fire spoilers about the big season finale.
One of the recognizable stars from the One Chicago shows, Miranda plays Lieutenant Stella Kidd.
Kidd was absent from the latest episode as Firehouse 51 dealt with the loss of Truck 81. Through character conversations, we learned she was in California hot on the trail of a new truck.
Things got more tense with Paramedic Chief Robinson, though, after Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) reported her right-hand man (Lennox) for nearly killing a patient in the field.
People have had to step up and lead the house recently. The absence of Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) has led to some interesting storylines.
Unfortunately, part of the season finale includes an “emotional farewell” to Boden.

I hate to say it, but I'm so glad this was the penultimate episode of season 12.
This season has had a couple of decent storylines, but frankly, the majority of it has been pretty dull. For a show predicated on action and drama, there's been a definite shortage of those things over the last dozen episodes.
This installment lacked the exciting follow-ups we hoped to see after Chicago Fire Season 12 Episode 11 and answered none of our questions. What do we have to do to get some background around here?
The episode wasn't all bad. To be entirely fair, the growing bond between Violet and Novak has been lovely to see.
Novak opened up a lot more, giving Violet and the viewers some insight into who she is. For someone who has made it clear she prefers to move on frequently and stay free from attachments, it's starting to become clear...

Chicago Fire sure loves its recurring storylines — to the point where they become repetitive storylines, instead. Season 12 saw the classic “someone’s out to get 51” plot recycled for the fourth time with the introduction of the new Paramedic Chief which pissed off many fans… But Season 12 is not yet done with inventing new rivals for Firehouse 51, it seems: this Wednesday, another one shall arrive.
Famous Artist Joins Chicago Fire
New Kids on the Block used to be one of the most popular American boy bands and it’s still going strong today. But the confines of the music industry proved to be too restricting for the artists’ liking, and one of the band members decided to join Chicago Fire for a quick and energetic one-episode cameo in the next episode.

Enrique Iglesias is revisiting his 2022 single “Espacio en tu Corazón,” but this time releasing it in English as a duet with Miranda Lambert.
On Thursday, the Spanish star welcomed the singer to his pop world with “Space in My Heart,” which hears the two musicians sing to a love-to-be.
“You don’t love me yet, but I know you will,” they harmonize in the chorus.
The track is an English-language reimagining of Iglesias’ ballad from two years ago. The Spanish version hears Iglesias sings to a love that got away.

“What if I don’t like the guy I am now, bro” says Bosco (Malcolm Kamulete). “You have to learn to like him ‘cause you’re stuck with him” says Rusty (Keiren Hamilton-Amos). Watching family dynamics play out on screen never goes out of fashion and BBC’s latest drama Champion is proof of that.
A love letter to South London, Champion is the first TV project written by Candice Carty-Williams, author of the 2019 novel Queenie, which will also be released as a TV drama on Channel 4 later this year. Champion tells the story of the titular family, focusing mostly on the Champion siblings, rapper Bosco and his sister Vita (Déja J Bowens) as they battle with their sense of duty to their family and their own musical success.

Over the course of her career, Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira has sold over 60 million records worldwide and has won numerous awards including Grammys, Latin Grammys, World Music Awards, American Music Awards and Billboard Music Awards, just to name a few. She is the only artist from South America to have a number one song in the US, and has had four of the 20 top-selling hits of the last decade—including 2006’s unforgettable “Hips Don’t Lie,” the biggest-selling single of the 21st Century, which reached the #1 spot in an astonishing 55 countries. Shakira began writing songs at the age of eight, learned to speak English by studying the work of Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and Walt Whitman, and took history classes at UCLA during her break between albums.

Florence Pugh has fallen victim to a new trend where fans throw objects at performers while they are on stage.
The incident took place on Sunday at a Comic-Con event in São Paulo, Brazil, where Pugh was a panelist for the movie Dune: Part Two.
Pugh, along with her co-stars Timothée Chalamet, Austin Butler and Zendaya, participated in a discussion about the sci-fi sequel when the incident occurred. While she posed for photos, an object was hurled towards the stage and struck Pugh directly in the face.
Videos that captured the incident have circulated widely on social media, and show Pugh and her co-stars in shock. The actress puts her hand over her eye before she reaches for the object from the ground. This occurred shortly after Pugh expressed her excitement for the panel and the opportunity to work with her fellow Dune cast members.
Pugh is not the first celebrity to endure such incidents.

More terrifying than any creature Hollywood could dream up is the unraveling of one’s mind—the steady loss of a consciousness as defined by the memories, motivations, and knowledge built up from decades of experience and reflection. With Annihilation, Alex Garland’s beautiful, frightening follow-up to Ex Machina, he portrays this paralyzing sensation with a sense of vivid imagination, and also delivers a cadre of horrifying creatures to boot. – Jordan R. Costume designer Kameron Lennox has spent the last few years in the ’80s (Apple TV+’s “Physical”) and the ’90s (Hulu’s “Pam & Tommy”). But her work on Apple TV+’s 10-episode comedy “Platonic” is joyously, hilariously now.
Starring Rose Byrne and Seth Rogen, “Platonic” finds estranged best friends Sylvia (Byrne) and Will (Rogen) falling back into their old habits when they reconnect after his divorce. Sylvia’s a bored stay-at-home mother married to a Ken doll of a lawyer (Luke Macfarlane), while Will is the man behind popular Arts District bar Lucky Penny, content to coast on his brew skills and whatever cachet comes from co-owning a brewery in one’s 40s. The biggest event of the 38th Grammy Awards, which took place in February 1996, was Mariah Carey’s infamous shutout across all six of her nominations. The R&b and pop singer-songwriter was expected to pick up multiple Grammys due to the success of her album “Daydream.” Yet, as the ceremony progressed, Carey and the audience quickly realized that “Daydream” wasn’t as strong as most thought. There’s one category in particular that had to seem locked for Carey more so than anything else: Best Pop Vocal Album. Being the first award of the telecast, “Daydream’s” loss to Joni Mitchell’s “Turbulent Indigo” really set the stage for the rest of the Carey-snubbage that was about to take place. However, even without Carey, Mitchell’s win would’ve been just as shocking with top-selling albums from artists like Madonna and The Eagles also nominated. In the end, it was...

In addition to her personal artistic efforts, she founded the Lilith Fair tour showcasing female musicians which raised over 7 million for local and national charities over its 3 years and in 2002 founded her non-profit organization the Sarah McLachlan School of Music. The school provides free afterschool music education for at-risk and underserved kids who otherwise would have no access to music programming. From an early age, music provided Sarah with the tools she needed to navigate the challenges she faced in her life so she recognizes how important it is for every child to have those same opportunities.

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which this week features eight matches and takes us back to the typical Dark studio setting rather than coming from on the road… Anyway, on with the review.
Match #1: Britt Baker def. Billie Starkz
My Thoughts: This was a fantastic opening match, with Billie Starkz giving Britt Baker a decent run, almost getting the win with a super-close pinfall attempt. Starkz even made Baker bleed! Apparently this was filmed a while ago, which takes some of the momentum out of the finished product but still, I really enjoyed this one.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Dark Order def. Baliyan Akki, Marcus Kross & Vary Morales
My Thoughts: Dark Order versus enhancement talent… Oh, I wonder who;s going to win this one? And what do you know, it’s also a squash! Yes, this one weas another by-the-book Aew YouTube match for the Dark Order.

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which this week features thirteen(!) matches… Yes, the match count is creeping up, something I’m not a fan of! Anyway, on with the review.
Match #1: Christopher Daniels def. Brian Pillman Jr.
My Thoughts: It’s great to see Christopher Daniels in action again, even if it is on Dark. This was a decent back and forth, with an outcome that was always in doubt (which is great to see!). Daniels hit the Bme for the crowd-pleasing finish.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Emi Sakura def. Jada Stone
My Thoughts: Jada Stone got one move in here, I’m not sure that even qualifies as a typical Aew quasi-squash Tbh. Not much wet on here, so not much more to say than that!
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #3: Ryan Nemeth def. Dak Draper
My Thoughts: Who cares… It’s a Ryan Nemeth match.

The prize was founded by Prince William, who will be present at the ceremony alongside his wife The Princess of Wales.
The pair will present awards alongside actor Rami Malek, comedian Catherine O’Hara (of Schitts Creek) and actor Shaileen Woodley.
“The fifteen Finalists of this year’s Earthshot Prize are deeply inspiring,” said Malek. “They are dedicating their lives to building solutions that will repair our planet, and I can’t wait to present an award to one of the incredible Winners for 2022.”

Lionel Richie received one of the most prestigious honors at the 2022 American Music Awards: the icon award. Every year, the noble honor is handed out to artists whose "body of work has marked a global influence over the music industry," according to an AMAs press release. Considering that Richie collecting the award now makes him the only artist in American Music Awards history to be featured on the stage every decade since its 1974 inception, it sure seems he deserves the accolade.
The icon award makes 18 AMAs wins for Richie, and he couldn't be more grateful. "I'm immensely grateful for a career that has taken me to places I never imagined that I'd go, from arenas worldwide to studio sets to the Ama stage," he said in a press release. "I can recall one of the first times I got to perform at the AMAs. It was to sing 'We Are...

If Striking Distance Studios’ “Mastering Horror” docuseries wasn’t enough to tide you over until the release of The Callisto Protocol, then how about a horror podcast prequel? That’s exactly what you’re getting with Helix Station, a six-part series starring Gwendoline Christie, Kevin Durand and Michael Ironside. The first two episodes are out now.
Showrun and directed by Willie Block and Jake Emanuel, Helix Station takes place in the year 2320 (the same year as The Callisto Protocol), and centres around two skip tracers, Percy (Christie) and Kane (Ironside), as hunt down bounties. The pair eventually find their ship commandeered by Black Iron Prison officer Metzger (Kevin Durand), and soon find themselves in a once-in-a-lifetime job on Helix Station, hunting down a dangerous escaped criminal. Of course, the duo eventually learn that the derelict metropolis holds dark secrets about the true nature of the United Jupiter Company.

Lionel Richie soared. Pat Benatar roared. Duran Duran stumbled but stayed sophisticated. Eminem was Eminem.
The four acts found very different ways to celebrate on Saturday night, but all can now say they’re Rock & Roll Hall of Famers. So are Carly Simon, Eurythmics, Harry Belafonte, Judas Priest and Dolly Parton, who gave the honor an enthusiastic embrace after temporarily turning it down.
The first act inducted at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles after a memorable speech from a shaven-headed Robert Downey Jr., Duran Duran took the stage and launched into their 1981 breakthrough hit “Girls on Film.”
The shrieking crowd was there for it, but the music wasn’t. The band was all but inaudible other than singer Simon Le Bon, whose vocals were essentially a cappella.
It was a fun if inauspicious beginning to a mostly slick and often triumphant show.

Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart made a rare return to the stage as Eurythmics Saturday night as they celebrated their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Coming out in matching black gator-skin-looking dress pants and sport coats, Lennox and Stewart took the stage starting with 1985’s “Would I Lie to You?”
Lennox led a stomping performance of 1986’s “Missionary Man,” keeping most of Microsoft Theater on their feet. The crowd erupted when they finally went into their 1983 signature song “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This),” with Lennox...

If you were on a very specific part of the Internet last year, it’s likely that a post-punk cover of Karol G’s hit “Bichota” ended up on your radar. It came from a Chilean band called Friolento, who turned the 2020 hit darker and more exciting by injecting it with cold electric guitar and replacing its dembow-lite riddim with rock drums. TikTok took note, with videos that used the song — for the gag or for punks to proclaim they were pleasantly surprised — receiving nearly 200 million views.

For Puerto Rican audiences, Latin pop concerts are no passive spectator sport, but rather an invigorating experience, and on the island no indoor performance space captures that spirit better than Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot. Located at the heart of San Juan’s Milla de Oro, the venue — a spectacular structure that resembles a peaked cap on 5.2 acres — not only hosts some of the greatest local performances Puerto Rico has to offer, but it has held some of the genre’s most important events of the 21st century.

When you hear the hip-hop-styled piano rhythm of “Pof,” the opening cut on Ari Lennox’s second album age/sex/location, the first thing you’ll notice is her voice, flowing full and wry like Erykah Badu circa “On & On.” Yes, this is a real, honest-to-God soul singer: no autotune effects, no flattening croon that approximates laptop software, no double-time rhythm meant to approximate a rapper’s inflections. Lennox isn’t a traditionalist, though, and her music feels utterly modern. Much like Summer Walker, Chlöe Bailey — both of whom guest...

Over the decades, Buckingham Palace summoned a select group of musicians to be awarded by Queen Elizabeth II. Mick Jagger, Paul McCartney, Elton John and Bob Geldof were knighted, and Robert Plant was named Commander of the Order of the British Empire. One of the few female musicians to receive such an honor was Annie Lennox, who, in 2011, was awarded an OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) for her work with the poverty-relief charitable organization Oxfam as well as AIDS charities in Africa.

Curated by the IndieWire Crafts team, Craft Considerations is a platform for filmmakers to talk about recent work we believe is worthy of awards consideration. In partnership with Hulu, for this edition we look at how costume designer Kameron Lennox, hair department head Barry Lee Moe, makeup department head David Williams and special makeup effects designer Jason Collins brought the ’90s back to life for “Pam & Tommy.”
Hulu’s limited series “Pam & Tommy” chronicles the marriage of two of the most iconic and ubiquitous celebrities of the ’90s, “Baywatch” star Pamela Anderson and Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee. The show is both an intimate character study and a sweeping portrait of an era, which created both inspiring opportunities and daunting challenges for the filmmakers tasked with comparing and contrasting the public and private lives of Pam, Tommy, and the members of their circle during the most dramatic period in their relationship.

From bringing back the 1990s in Hulu’s “Pam & Tommy” to styling for a lesbian cruise on “Hacks,” the Emmy-nominated costume designers delivered a wealth of contemporary looks.
Kameron Lennox landed her first nom for “Pam & Tommy,” which took audiences back a couple of decades as Lily James and Sebastian Stan captured the wild antics and looks of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee.
Perfecting the iconic “Baywatch” red swimsuit was imperative. The original suit was made by Tyr swimwear, which was not only able to match the red precisely but also helped her find the right fabric and cut. “On Pam, the way that it was cut was very sexy,” says Lennox. “The leg was high-cut to elongate her leg and cut low on the sides to accentuate her bust.”

Reportedly, Sebastian Stan clocks in at 6 feet tall, comparable with 6-foot-2 Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, whom the actor plays in Pam & Tommy. Co-star Lily James hits 5-foot-7 in flats, which corresponds with Pamela Anderson. But, via extensive research, Pam & Tommy costume designer Kameron Lennox determined that Anderson’s documented height may be with her trademark 4-inch heels on.
In the Hulu limited series (nominated for an Emmy for outstanding contemporary costumes), James often wore Anderson-style high heels, such as for an incognito trip to the library to access the nascent internet, where her Christian Louboutin boots (a take on Uggs) brought James near Stan’s height. But, in the preceding scene, shot from the waist up, James actually stood flat-foot for a tension-filled conversation with Stan as the hotheaded Tommy. “It was so important that [Pam] felt smaller, like she’s vulnerable,...
