After three tumultuous outings, DC's "Titans" train continues to chug along in full force. Self-proclaimed as a new beginning for the series, the fourth season moves towards a more consistent future as a superhero show and quasi-family drama. As per usual, a new location and set of villains threaten to uproot the titular superhero team. But the supernatural reigns supreme this time around, delivering a blend of magic and horror more devious than the last three seasons combined. Throw in a few daddy issues, and you have a well-received fourth season. However, that's not all. A fan-favorite character will make their return sooner rather than later.
The fourth season of "Titans" looks to turn the page on the long-standing series, but it is still not afraid to pull from the past. The origins of Mother Mayhem (Franka Potente) and Brother Blood (Joseph Morgan) are distinctly tied to the events of the very first season.

The live-action Titans series has been flawed from the get-go by presenting us with a Dick Grayson that the writers woefully misunderstand. There is no comic book creator who ever depicted Grayson in this manner so it sets the wrong tone. Its low-budget when created for the short-lived DC Universe streaming service didn’t help.
And yet, it has staggered through three seasons, with a fourth now streaming on HBO Max. Just last week, Warner Home Entertainment released Titans: The Complete Third Season on Blu-ray (no DVD or 4K).
We pick up from the end of season two with the team mourning the death of Donna Troy (Conor Leslie), they are jarred to discover that now Jason Todd (Curran Walters) has been murdered by the Joker. The team, and yes, it’s nice to see them function as a unit for a change, journey to Gotham City to console Bruce...

Titans Season 4 gets underway on HBO Max later this year.
As the promotional trail for the series begins, we have some exciting casting news.
Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Titus Welliver has joined the cast as Lex Luthor.
Showrunner Greg Walker told the outlet that this iteration of Lex "has a very sensitive, thoughtful approach to evil and power."
Naturally, this sudden arrival will have a big effect on Connor.
As viewers are well aware, Connor was created from Superman and Lex's DNA.
“He’s explored his Superman self, but he has not really explored his Lex self,” Walker told EW.
“What does that mean when you do?”
Connor has been struggling to come to grips with a life away from a lab, regularly being put in the firing line.
The tricky part of Lex's arrival is that he could start to gravitate towards the dark side, assuming this iteration...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for the Season 3 finale of Titans, “Purple Rain.” So if you haven’t caught up, first, maybe examine your priorities. And then come back and check it out.] After a wickedly inventive and emotionally packed season that saw the Titans heading to Gotham City to battle both DC Comics villains Jonathan Crane (Vincent Kartheiser) and the Red Hood—fallen Titan Jason Todd (Curran Walters), who was drugged into killing Hank Hall (Alan Ritchson) with an explosive device—the often-fractious superteam got it together and brought these two monsters to justice. Dick Grayson and his band of superheroes will have a lot more crime-fighting to do on HBO Max.
The hit drama has officially been picked up for Season 4.
The renewal became official during DC Fandome over the weekend.
The series follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find where they belong.
In season three, circumstances draw our heroes to Gotham City, where they reunite with old friends and face new threats.
The cast this season has included Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, Ryan Potter, Conor Leslie, Curran Walters, Joshua Orpin, Alan Ritchson, Minka Kelly, Damaris Lewis, and Savannah Welch.

Titans Season 2 culminated with the team defeating Deathstroke [Esai Morales], Conner/Superboy [Joshua Orpin] breaking Cadmus’ hold over him, Jason Todd/Robin [Curran Walters] leaving the fold, and Donna/Wonder Girl [Conor Leslie] dead. But, by the end of the finale, the Titans seemed more committed than ever to standing strong and continuing their war against evil.

It's been a long wait, but the premiere of Titans Season 3 is in sight.
HBO Max has released a first look teaser for the new season of the popular superhero series, which premieres on Thursday, August 12.
The first three episodes will be available on that date, with new episodes dropping every Thursday after that.
Titans Season 3 is set to wrap on October 21, meaning that it will not be airing multiple episodes every week.
Score, right?
We love HBO Max, but multiple episodes a week takes out a lot of the fun. Having one episode to keep us on our toes for a few months works best in our book!
Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find where they belong.
In season three, circumstances draw our heroes to Gotham City, where they will reunite with old friends and face new threats.

"I can't risk you getting hurt - these people are far too powerful." Lionsgate is releasing this "intense, high-speed cyber-thriller" direct-to-vod in March. And while I am a big fan of hacker films & tech thrillers, this one leans a bit too much into the cheesy, unrealistic realm. And it sounds like a bad Ready Player One rip-off. Dark Web: Cicada 3301 is based on a series of mysterious, unsolved real-life events. It starts as the hacker Connor discovers "Cicada 3301", an online treasure hunt that could be a recruiting tool for a secret society. Soon Connor, art-expert friend Avi, and secretive librarian Gwen are dashing from graffiti sites to ancient libraries to uncover real-life clues. But they must outrun aggressive Nsa agents, also hot on the trail of Cicada, who want the glory for themselves. Starring Jack Kesy, Conor Leslie, Alan Ritchson, Ron Funches, and Andreas Apergis. This does not look good,...

Production on Titans season 3 is underway right now, with the DC TV series continuing to expand its storyline in exciting ways, such as Jason Todd becoming Red Hood. It definitely feels like another spinoff – following Doom Patrol – or maybe even several could be in the works, then, seeing as the show has already built up such a full version of the DC universe, and one that could be happening is a solo vehicle for Wonder Girl, which may lead to a major Dceu crossover.

The comedy-thriller marks the feature directorial debut of Alan Ritchson, who co-wrote the script with Joshua Montcalm. Lionsgate Home Entertainment is set to distribute the film digitally across multiple platforms on a to-be-determined date.
According to the official synopsis, Cicada 3301 follows disenfranchised hacker savant, Connor Black (Jack Kesy), his affable best friend, Avi Berkowitz (Ron Funches) and a cunning librarian (Conor Leslie), who find themselves over their heads when forced to compete in a sophisticated dark web secret society’s global recruitment game. Paul Feig is back with his sci-fi comedy series Other Space. It was originally aired on Yahoo! Screen back in 2015, but was cancelled shortly after, due to the platform being no longer viable. The digital platform Dust has now picked it up and is scheduled to host the series in August.
Other Space takes place in the distant future, the year 2105, where the Universal Mapping Projects (Ump) has been created by a multi-national corporate coalition. Their intention is – “to explore the universe for the purpose of scientific inquiry”. The main vessel that we see during the show is the Ump Cruiser, which apparently was once used as the setting for a reality show.
After a series of random and bizarre tests to see who should captain the ship, the title is soon given to the eager young man Stewart Lipinski (played by Karan Soni). Of course, the ambitious Stewart is...

Five years ago, one year before Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters hit theaters, the Bridesmaids comedy mastermind debuted a quirky, heartwarming science fiction series called Other Space. If you missed the streaming-only show back in 2015, the easiest way to describe the series would be Community meets The Orville, but better and more charming than both.
Other Space is like HBO’s Avenue 5 or Netflix’s Space Force, but funnier and far less cynical. And now, after a long absence, you can finally catch one of the best sci-fi shows you may have missed the first time around.
Check out a brand new trailer for the series right here…

DC Universe’s Titans series is maddeningly uneven. Its second season, out now on disc for those unwilling to buy the service, is perhaps slightly better than its inaugural outing but it’s still a mess.
Let’s start with the fact that everyone behind the camera doesn’t understand Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites), so they depict him as bitter and angry, lost and without a clear sense of self. He was never like that in the comics and this is jarring and not terribly well thought through.
