When the first made-for-tv Librarian movie appeared in 2004 (The Librarian: Quest for the Spear), I watched it simply because it sounded so silly (and I also have a fondness for magic and fantasy). The premise is a normal metropolitan library under which is hidden a magical library containing not only rare (or mythical) books and manuscripts, but historical/magical (and religious) artifacts: the Ark of the Covenant, Excalibur, Pandora’s Box, even Noah’s Ark. This library -- which exists to protects these items, as well as protecting the general public from the wrong use of magic -- is overseen by Judson (Bob Newhart) and his assistant, Charlene (Jane Curtin). They hire a librarian whose job it is to go around the world either finding magical artifacts, or preventing those artifacts from falling into the wrong hands. Back in September, "NCIS" and "Burn Notice" actor David Dayan Fisher was locked up after allegedly choking a neighbor who hung swim towels on Fisher's fence. He was booked on felony battery charges.
Now, the charges have been dropped. Fisher struck a deal with prosecutors. He plead guilty to a much more minor disturbing the peace charge and was sentenced to pay a $50 fine -- but even that was written off by the judge.
"I was set on by a bully who asked for trouble and lost his fight. He then goes running to the teacher and spins his lies. This is the case," Fisher tells TMZ about the violent altercation. "I have not punched someone since I was at school. That was 27 years ago. This seems to be an instant karmic justice for a bully."...

Burn Notice has went and snagged a couple more cast members for its fifth season says Entertainment Weekly. First off Gavin Rossdale. The British are coming for 'Burn Notice!' It's been announced that both Gavin Rossdale and 'NCIS' alum David Dayan Fisher will be keeping their compatriot Gabrielle Anwar company in the upcoming Season 5.
'Entertainment Weekly' reports that Bush frontman Rossdale will appear in the eighth episode, playing the villainous Armand, a wealthy and powerful man "with a hand in nefarious projects all over the world." Fiona (Anwar) asks him for help, but he'll only lend a hand if she helps him with a major heist job.
Fisher, who has a recurring role on 'NCIS' as C.I.A. agent Trent Kort, is set to play an ambitious and ruthless mercenary in the same episode.

The hunt for the Port-to-Port Killer reaches an epic conclusion next week on NCIS' eight season finale. But what will the cost be for a team that just lost one of its own?
In "Pyramid," the killer continues the assault on Gibbs' and Barrett's teams, who are still reeling from Franks' death. It looks like Ziva specifically is attacked by the killer.
David Dayan Fisher guest stars again as Kort, while Muse Watson also returns as Franks. Hopefully Gibbs' fallen mentor can guide him through one last case.

Previews of this episode teased that the Port-to-Port killer would strike at the heart of NCIS. Everything about the way the episode was staged and structured took advantage of viewers’ morbid curiosity. Which character(s) would die?
The action began with Gibbs standing in a rainstorm as a bagged body was loaded into the M.E.’s truck. As I heard from each of the regular characters–Tony, McGee, Vance, and so on–I could rest assured they had survived. I was slightly fooled when Gibbs’s mentor, Mike Franks, appeared in the rain, but it soon became clear that Gibbs was having visions of Mike as a way of sorting through the latest developments in the Port-to-Port killer case.
Gibbs and the team followed E.J. Barrett’s lead as the latest victim was reported. The murder of NCIS Special Agent Earl Stark broke the Port-to-Port killer’s pattern–no uniform,...

Intense times await viewers of NCIS as the CBS hit unspools the final two hours of its eighth season. In the first episode (airing this Tuesday at 8/7c), someone with ties to Gibbs’ team becomes the latest victim of the Port-to-Port Killer – and keep in mind, both Muse Watson (aka Mike Franks) and David Dayan Fisher (as Trent Kort) are set to guest star. The May 17 season ender in turn will reveal the identity of the serial slayer, with significant and lasting consequences for the NCIS team.

The Infernum Short Film has premiered. Ted Marcus‘ Infernum (2010) stars David Dayan Fisher, Charlie Hunter, Cat Forrest, and Maria Olsen. Infernum‘s plot synopsis: “A high-stakes drama of redemption and death, set during the chaos and brutality of the medieval Inquisition.” Most of the short films I have seen do not have the quality of this one. Great acting, set up, cinematography, and Infernum even manages to make connection with the viewer during its brief runtime. The camera used seems to be of the feature film grade as well. When The Expected (David Dayan Fisher) is about to die and he looks back at the Attendee (Charlie Hunter) covered in tar is probably the best moment in Infernum. From Ted Marcus
Infernum represents my attempt to reinvigorate the ‘period drama’ into something exciting, concise and relevant, three qualities which contemporary audiences don’t usually associate with this genre. It’s important,...

HollywoodNews.com: Actor David Dayan Fisher (of NCIS, 24 and more) is hosting a book launch and fund-raising event in Hollywood to launch his new children’s book, “Puppy School,” while also benefitting In Defense of Animals (Ida).
By day he is a Russian terrorist, but by night, David Dayan Fisher is penning children’s books about puppies. A British actor who often plays villains in TV shows like 24, Fisher reveals his softer side in the children’s chapter book. After becoming a dog rescue advocate nine years ago, the book was literally a dream for Fisher.
“I was at dinner with friends one evening, and joked that their dog should go to puppy school since he was so wild,” says Fisher. “That night, I dreamt the story of Puppy School from start to finish, and immediately wrote it down the next morning.”
Burton and Monkey are two pups from very different backgrounds.

We talked in our NCIS Round Table about how out of his element Tony Dinozzo was this week, thanks to his father's surprise visit. He'll be out of it in a different way January 26.
In "Jet Lag," Tony and Ziva end up in Paris, where, as luck would have it, a mix-up at the hotel requires that they share a room, executive producer Shane Brennan confirms.
"There is a scene where Tony and Ziva are outside having coffee in a French restaurant and they end up riding away on a little motor scooter," he reveals of Tiva's Paris trip.
"It is very romantic-looking, very French. Very Tony Dinozzo."
Fancast asked Cote de Pablo (Ziva) if she had a bone to throw Tiva fans regarding the next episode, and she replied, “It depends on what kind of a bone you’re talking about.”
Hot ... we think!
Cote noted that in this week's 150th episode,...
