While Debris Season 1 Episode 3 was still emotionally driven, the scientific aspect stood out.
Finally, we had an incident that required usage of the debris and offered information about the ship, how it got here, and what it means for humanity.
It was a solid hour that not only furthered the various mysteries but added to the discussion.
Before we delve into the content, I want to take some time to appreciate that Joel Wyman knows he's not reinventing the wheel with Debris. What I mean is he's paying homage to other great shows and films.
I don't know if you've recognized that the theme music is reminiscent of Westworld. While the composer isn't Ramin Djawadi, Raney Shockne (if he did indeed compose the theme) takes influence from Djawadi for sure.
They've also been influenced by Wyman's other notable show, Fringe, which was especially noticeable with the deep pulsating chords that played throughout.

The Cyberpunk 2077 soundtrack is, much like the game itself, poised to be one of the best of the year.
While composers Marcin Przybyłowicz, P. T. Adamczyk, Paul Leonard-Morgan are looking to surpass The Witcher 3‘s incredible original score, the real story of Cyberpunk 2077‘s soundtrack may be the game’s GTA-like radio stations and their lineups of licensed songs.
Of course, you may not initially realize that Cyberpunk 2077‘s soundtrack is loaded with licensed hits as a quick Spotify search for in-game bands like Window Weather, Bara Nova, and Tainted Overlord yields no relevant results. Well, that’s because all of the bands in Cyberpunk 2077 go by pseudonyms designed to better match the lore and style of the Cyberpunk universe. For instance, Run the Jewels is “Yankee and the Brave,” Nina Kraviz is “Bara Nova,” and Converge is “Shattered Void.”

The 1990s were a very distinct decade in music – Seattle became the birth place of grunge, putting on a memorable live performance became just as important as releasing an amazing album, and boy bands dominated the end of the decade with a fever pitch that reverberates to this day (see: The Package Tour). The 1990s also saw a number of movies with fantastic soundtracks that truly represented the decade (Singles, Clueless, Can’t Hardly Wait), but The To Do List is one of the first films to come out in the aftermath of the ’90s that takes audiences right back to the days of Naughty By Nature, The Cranberries, Mazzy Star, and Salt-n-Pepa. The soundtrack for The To Do List is, as one would imagine, filled with “sexy” songs which play to the plot of the film which has Brandy Klark (Aubrey Plaza) running through a laundry list of sexual exploits with a laser focus on losing...

In order to shed her uptight image before college, Valedictorian Brandy Klark creates a “to do list” of all the “activities” she missed out on in high school. Quickly realizing that she’s way out of her depth, Brandy solicits her two best friends, her older sister and her burnt-out boss for their help and advice. But even with the guidance of those closest to her, Brandy can’t foresee that emotions are not easily kept to the margins.
Featuring the hottest cast of the summer including Aubrey Plaza, Johnny Simmons, Bill Hader, Alia Shawkat, Sarah Steele, Scott Porter, Rachel Bilson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Andy Samberg, Donald Glover, with Connie Britton and Clark Gregg, The To Do List is a comedy set in 1993 about a Type A girl, her to do list, and all of the outrageous lessons she awkwardly learns over the summer between high school and college.

The soundtracks to "Scream" and "Scream 2" were diverse mishmashes of modern rock, hip-hop, soul and electronic, placing bands like Sugar Ray and Collective Soul alongside D'Angelo and Master P.
By the time we got to 2000's "Scream 3," cock rock was in full bloom, with the soundtrack reading like a who's who of early-2000s, post-grunge adolescent angst and rage (Godsmack! Sevendust! Staind!). Mom and dad may not have understood you, but that soundtrack sure did.
For "Scream 4," we get a combination of high-energy bar rock and commercially-minded electro-pop tailor-made for teenagers of both genders. The raucous bar-friendly rock of The Novocaines ("Cup of Coffee") and Locksley ("On Fire") recall The Caesars, The Datsuns and countless other "The" groups that appropriated and, in some cases, updated the Nuggets box set for a new generation. It's not hard to picture these tracks alongside someone running, or getting murdered or running to avoid getting murdered.

The Scream 4 soundtrack. Gazing back into the distant mists of time (well, the late ‘90s), it’s now easy to see that the first Scream was as much of a rebirth red herring for the horror genre as Pulp Fiction was for the American indie movie, and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels was for the British gangster flick. Just like those two, Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson’s superb slasher seemed poised to usher a new era of postmodern wit and sparkle in its chosen field, but only actually succeeded in spawning hordes of unforgivably feeble imitators. Scream 3, to name one.
Still, a Scream soundtrack – what a cheery concept, evoking as it does the notion of an entire record of scream-centric numbers to wrap one’s lugholes round. Like what? Ooh, well, Scream by Michael and Janet Jackson springs immediately to mind, though that’s hardly the...

It’s been a decade since the last entry in the Scream trilogy hit theatres, and now we wait to see how they can squeeze more blood from the proverbial stone. This time, Sydney Prescott (Neve Campbell) is a writer of a self-help book, who while on tour promoting it ends up in Woodsboro in time for the 15th anniversary of the original murders. And of course, with her reunion with friends and family comes the inevitable return of Ghostface, who is taking his or her cues from horror remakes. The murders are similar to the original film’s murders, but with a 21st-century twist (one could write a dissertation on the irony of Wes Craven making such commentary on horror remakes when he has handed several of his own properties over for remaking, but that’s for another day).

The Back-up Plan soundtrack. Sometimes the combination of creative personnel attached to a movie form an open invitation to work yourself into a lather of anticipatory excitement (let’s use Scott Pilgrim as a slightly tired example). Then there are those other occasions when the individuals involved are so professionally incognito as to invite only the blankest of blank shrugs. So it is with The Back-up Plan, the new romantic comedy directed by Alan Poul (who?), scripted by Kate Angelo (who?), and boasting Alex O’Loughlin as its male lead (I’ll say it again, who?). There is one big name involved though (or little name if you use that stupid abbreviation so beloved of the tabloids), in the curvy shape of Jennifer Lopez.
The plot of The Back-up Plan involves Lopez’ Zoe being impregnated via artificial insemination because she can’t find the right man, only to meet her...

Fame soundtrack review. With dear old Mother Earth apparently on the verge of giving up the ghost due to humanity’s alarming propensity for wastefulness, it is accordingly entirely prudent that we attempt to recycle and renew wherever possible. And an excellent current example of just such a caring approach being adopted in regard to our hurting planet can be found in the way that we are currently replaying the 1980s in lieu of bothering to think up an original cultural identity for 2009. Whether the artistic realm is music, fashion or film, The Decade That Taste Forgot is back with all the merciless ferocity of an espadrille-sporting, keytar-fingering bout of the Black Death. Which is why it is no kind of surprise at all that the latest movie dusted down from the remake shelf is none other than Fame - a flick (and accompanying TV series) that couldn’t have...
