Columbo 2.0

This show is fun,it's columbo 2.0 but with a goofier columbo. Like columbo,she immediately knew who did it in episode number one. I love the humor and goofiness of Arlene. Lol (sorry,couldn't resist) the show is refreshing and reminds me of the greats in my day. Columbo,McCloud,Hart to Hart,McMillion and Wife and so forth. Only 1/2 way through first episode and definitely hooked. I hope the writing holds up,it gets an audience and runs for a long time. It's really rare we get a show the last few years that's not trying to push some agenda on me. I will definitely be watching every episode. Give it a try.

Twilight (I) (2008)

Unrealistic reviews

I find it quite funny how the Twilight series is rated so low and don't believe probably 80 percent of the reviews. Although the movies are not as good as the books. They capture the mood and feeling of them. I quite enjoy them and am not afraid to admit it at 65 years old. I see all the low ratings,but the money these movies made is staggering. Proving how popular and liked that they are. And it's not just the first movie and a fluke. They are really well made,beautiful photography especially. And you can never go wrong when Anna Kendricks involved.

I think it's just popular for people to say these movies are dumb and stupid,like many things today. No one wants to admit they like them. Especially the first one.

Give it a try.

Wonka (2023)

Fantastic

This movie is like going back in time. First couple minutes I was a bit concerned,but it soon became one of the best movies I've seen in my sixty five years. Wonderful music, solid plot,great performances. Just made you feel nostalgic. Younger generations probably won't see the wonder in it, and i really recommend they try. The color palette was beautiful. I just know what else to say than you really should take the time to see it on the big screen. Very few movies I see require it, and this one will get its point across on a tv. But to really appreciate the scenery,color and atmosphere, i really recommend the biggest screen available.

I love this movie. I don't understand the hate. It's an enjoyable Saturday afternoon movie. Anytime i come across,I have to stay till the end. Definitely a movie not to taken seriously. Just dumb fun,with a great sci-go bent. Even the movie doesn't take itself seriously. Dawson plays a character very similar to her role in Men in Black 2. Definitely not her best work but gets the job done. It's nice to see someone make a movie that breaks the norm and almost reminds of the old serials they played before the movie when I was younger,or should I say young. Lol. The old Flash Gordon and such. Would really recommend that they should make a big bowl of popcorn and give it a try. Maybe by themselves if their afraid of being teased. Give it a try,don't get all snobby and just have a dumb laugh.

This has to be a joke on Scooby fans like myself. There is nothing that has anything resembling Scooby Doo other than the names. This is just a blatant rip off of the name recognition to get people to watch,probably because they weren't capable of creating something original. And the worst thing is,Scooby is a children's show. This is just basically x rated porn. There is no real plot and seems to want to just make fun of the original characters and degrade them to a bunch of stupid,horny and drug dealing psychos. Can't see this lasting past 1 season.

Hopefully reality will return in a few years and someone will create something worth watching.

Laid back honesty

If you like to know the truth,this is one of the shows to watch. Daily call out of the wacko wokest people. He highlights the absurd goings on in the world today and shows us how insane things are becoming. Teachers on tic tok admitting their agendas to sexualize young children and how they revel in young children calling them Zey,them and they,so the teacher feels whole. He calls out politicians for their lies and deceit. And every once,rarely he may get something wrong. But you know he'll immediately correct himself and apologize. Something the media never does,even after being proven wrong over and over. You may not agree with everything he says,but at least you know your getting the truth and where he stands. There are a number of good people like him on YouTube these days and feels good knowing the elitist media crowd is in their death throes because of people like Jeremy that don't feel like their better than the peasants.

You know he's doing something right when the leftists are calling the cops and having swat teams show up at his house fully armed and in armor because they be told the police,he's killed his wife and is ready to kill police. His editors and animation people are great and have great intros. Give it a try if you prefer reality and normal people.

Dark Shadows (2012)

Silly fun

Well worth the watch. A basic popcorn movie,great for a lazy afternoon. Depp fits right into the role as usual,Phipher great as always and the rest all doing great work.gets a little cheesy at times,but that's the point.colors and scenery pops,music fits the fireplace is the coolest thing in the movie.

I, Robot (2004)

Good philosophical popcorn movie

A fun movie that evolves around robots becoming sentient. Lots of action. Will Smith was the perfect fit.

Special effects aren't bad and the world of electric,self driving cars was ahead of it's time. If you're looking for a fun mo.

Jurassic World Dominion (2022)

Ignore the haters,it's not a great masterpiece but it's fun. I really liked all the Easter eggs and it was great to see the old cast back. Worth the money to see on the big screen. Don't understand the hate because it's non stop action and a fun ride.

Aquaman (2018)

Saturday popcorn movie at best

Way too much CGI thats wasted on huge points with no real need.story is typical but doesn't seem to flow well. More comedy would help a lot. It's like it didn't know which way to go. It's good for a Weekend download and easy to pause a few times for getting a few chores done,it won't keep you glued to the screen. Lol And even though it's become an old cliche,poor Amber just can't act.

First time I've seen again since coming out.and couldn't remember anything.so must say it didn't make much of an impression.

Worth watching for a little fun.

Top Gun: Maverick (2022)

One heck of a ride

This has got to be one of the best movies in years. Reminds me of movies from decades ago. There is no messaging,no politics and is just plain fun. The lack of CGI and all done with real action makes it amazing. The little details of flight,like when taking off the deck really add to the film. Don't fret the plot,it's simple and just the way to show off the action.

Can't remember the last time I walked out of a theater with such a smile on my face.

A must see.

Trace (2021)

Short and sweet

Have a feeling most bad reviews haven't seen the source material. Leans towards English humor and is fun to watch.they picked the perfect person to play the lead. Would be great if they did a crossover episode. Lol ttt

Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)

Worth it

Where Marvel goes with the comedic touch which I really enjoy,DC tends to go dark with a touch of wit,Particularly one character. Although slow at times,the ending and stinger makes it definitely worth it. It all comes together in a satisfying way.

And the ending music really ends it well.

So different,so fun Nice getting to see something quirky and off the beaten path. Katie H. Was the perfect choice and is delightful and believable in this role. Can't remember such a unique movie since Ed paid for mom's return. If you understand,you'll understand. 😊

Not much to say other than at 63 years old,is the number one best show I've ever seen and the only one I've ever rated a 10.

Only problem with it,is it's only 6 seasons.

The Good Place (2016–2020)

Watching 3rd time around. Really enjoy and like picking up things you've missed before. Highly recommend. Nice show to have on in the background after you've seen before. Just comfortable.

All the characters are enjoyable and work well off each other except Dereck is a little over the top.

Russian Doll (2019–2022)

Dark fun

Ignore the 1 star ratings that try and say that the 9's are made up. It's dark,quirky comedy and is so much better than most 1/2 hour shows out there. Nice to see something different.

Also ignore the 10's. Maybe 5 movies I've seen in 63 years that are that good. Lol.

The Magical Christmas Tree (2021)

Has a cool plot but filmography is bad,sound is bad and the only glimmer of hope is Pace. She has the potential to be successful in the business. The problem,she far outshines all the other actors. Given a good cast and direction I think she is capable of good things.

The binary issue being pushed on the audience also detracts from what what could of been subtle information instead of making sure everyone being slapped in the face with it. Lol Had such potential.

Fun little Christmas movie and better than most. Not just a romance with Xmas lights. A little magic to cheer it up.

Only thing I feel could have made it better would have to have cast a different boyfriend,Matt Dallas doesn't fit the feel of the movie.

But definitely recommend.

West Side Story (2021)

Ok for a musical,nothing great. Wasn't up to original and didn't get changing the characters and was lost throughout not being able to understand.would like to have had sub titles so I could understand what was being said.

Lol Tried,I really tried I love clay nation and animation but this is beyond belief. Don't like to take sides when it comes to political entertainment,funny's, funny. But come on! The big revaluation that Santa could be a women has been done before in a great movie that was fun. Even the head elf trying to become Santa has been done. Guess I'm just a white supreme**t because I don't like the show. Lol Give it a try and decide for yourself. Hope you find more humor than I did. 🎄

King Richard (2021)

Feel good

The movie is a feel good look at what determination and pushing for your goals will achieve. It may not show the darker sides of their father but both girls seem to good well rounded adults thats shows what it takes.

Ignore the reviews based on race and that it's an inspiration for black children. That's part of the problem today,focusing on genetics and pigmentation.

These girls are an inspiration to all children of every race,and shows what hard work and discipline will bring.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021)
