Having only watched the first season, I really wanted to like this show. As a Foodie, I'm always interested in anything to do with the culinary industry.
However, this show is average at best.
I didn't find ANY of the characters particularly likable or very interesting. The acting performances from the cast ranges from mediocre to very good, but nothing great despite the "critical acclaim" reviews.
The first season is littered with clichés and too predictable sub plots.
The writing, which is the backbone of any TV series, is lacking in depth and seriously needs help with written dialog. I suspect the show creator was "in the weeds" when writing this drivel.
Overall, not terrible but far from greatness. Not compelling enough to keep me watching beyond the first season. This is a one and done for me.
