A great show 10yrs after smallwile

Just one problem and its with what ambitions drive Luthor forward. In the same episode luthor to 2 people says this

Superman: i let you live, that does not mean i will fight by your side.

I tought, BUT yours and this Superman are not the same and than he said this to Lois Lois: there is so much i want to tell you, but you are not her, you just look like her.

Like wtf its a two scenes back to back...

thats it, other is fine :D.

The Batman (2022)

Not for everyone 10/10

Will just say this. This movie is not for everyone. Its a more realistic take on batman with little winks on noir films and burtons and animated series gotham desing. This movie as for me took me by suprise and is one of my favs as of today. If you like 2h action and fast pace then this is not for you. If you like more grounded film then you will love this.

In short:

• batman finaly looks and feels like batman and is finaly a detective what he always was
• gotham allways had special feeling and its not generic moder city anymore the desing is perfect
• and mustang... oh the mustang <3.

Old (2021)

This movie is awesome! We had a great time last night. The whole theatre laughed, we laughed, movie laughed, we all had a great time. This is the only movie ever that i gave and probably will ever give a standing ovation at the end, the level of stupid is incomprehensive, you have to see it to beleive it. In short shamalan went on vacation got some people from resort and said do U want extra vacation money.

This is 2001 film. Late 1990's and early 2000's films have something in common and that is even if its bad its entertaining. So watch it first then make a decision for yourself. For me its 10/10.

A merit the movie based on how much do i care for a character. And this one made me care for them. Thats it. Thats the only thing that you need to know if a movie is good or bad. I could not care less for any of it characters for example and it is a "blockbuster" story and all it all depends on how interesting you find a genre. If you dont like movies with that "80's old school kids movies vibe" you wont like it. So the only thing that should matter in any movie is how much do you care for a character? I cared in this one so it is 10/10 for me because i like the vibe, the plot, and characters... they are not stranger things s1 kids but they dont need to be

As for story, it follows the book well. It is NOT shining and those who didnt read the book will not like it.

It is NOT a HORROR. Its miss Peregrins house for peculiar done right. I know what come out first.

Kings books are NOT horror so if you have ass clowns, space meatballs, aliend that shoot from yours butt you have to know what are you in for....

Acting is decent, story is coherent.

Upgrade (2018)

A venom done right

When movie makes you care for a side character dead after 10 minutes you know movie is done the right way.

Main characters are developed just enaugh to make you care but not too much to overflow with informations you dont need or care about.

Acting is solid 8, especially main character. Really like how he moves after the implant how they show his new "robotic" moves that says that hall 9000 ( yes i call him hall, his name its Stem but it's basically Hall ) is in control.

Narative and story are fluid, scenes make sence.

What i dont like: there are 3 things. 1st after surgery he starts walking and using limbs as nothing happened near minutes after. I dont know if its bexause of the budget or script but it does not makes any sense

2nd- a battle with last mercenary... i expected something more and grand, but it ended up in somewhat anticlimatic note. You could say its like that because they both have implants and are perfect in battle and there is no improvisations when a machine is in control.

3rd- end, they had an option to end movie like inception leaving an oppen ending not making cler it it was all a dream, did he beat hall or if hall beat him an is now in controll. But thwy rushed it and making a good ending but it could be better.

Midsommar (2019)

Characters are seriosly underdeveloped. Trough the movie they dont learn anything nor they become better people. Because of that everything from start to the part when they come to the commune could be cut off and not a single thing would change. It does not add to the story or to the characters. I dont care about any of them nor i feel any remorse for death of any of them. Two of them even just show at random and we dont learn anythin about them except that they are engaged (thats super important to the story)

As for a story, its what critics call "and then movie" visuals are stuning but story is non existant. Its an "artsy movie" but even they can have a story. Its not fluid its just a number of scenes that comes and go with a nice scenery in the back. It could be cut to 90mins easy.

Someone said its a breake up "fairy tale" only thing breaking was my patience with this movie.

You know that movies The Village and Wickerman with Nicolas Cage? Yeah, go watch that instead. And the end, oh wow, i said to my wife, well atleas Cage got an dignifiedly death.
