In the build-up to the release of "Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths — Part Three," the most intriguing detail was learning "Crisis" would feature the late Kevin Conroy voicing Batman one last time, having recorded his lines before his passing in 2022. Sweetening the news, it was subsequently announced that Conroy would be acting against Mark Hamill as Joker, if only for a moment. Their shared cameo recreates the animation style of "Batman: The Animated Series" (down to Gotham City's red sky), the 1992 cartoon where Conroy and Hamill first played Batman and the Joker.
But when I went to watch the scene, feeling I owed Mr. Conroy a peek at his Batman final curtain, my eyebrow shot up. The Joker in the scene did not sound like Mark Hamill. The cadence was there, but not the vocal quality. But the film's credits insisted it was Hamill, so I shrugged and...

Crisis On Infinite Earths - Part 3 Digital Version Makes A Major Change To Mark Hamill's Joker Voice
Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part Three marks the late Kevin Conroy's final performance as Batman as he returns as the version of the hero from Batman: The Animated Series.
Making that even more special is the fact Mark Hamill reprises the role of The Joker...or does he? When the movie was released, fans were quick to point out that something sounded off about his Clown Prince of Crime and many doubted it was even Hamill at all.
Still, the legendary Star Wars actor was credited as The Joker and, when we spoke to longtime DC Animated Universe executive producer Butch Lukic, he also confirmed it was Hamill voicing the villain.
"Once we told Hamill...we told him, 'Look, Kevin is doing it' and he always called us if Kevin was doing even just a couple of lines," Lukic explained. "He said, 'As long as Kevin is doing it,...

Watchmen Chapter 1 Might Have this Summer's Most Underrated Cast - Main Image
It's a shame that a lot of Watchmen fans seemingly aren't giving the upcoming animated DC flick a chance, especially considering how underrated the voice cast of Watchmen: Chapter 1 is.
Without further ado, check out the stellar cast and meet the voices behind the animated outlaw vigilantes that brought them to life!
Rorschach aka Walter Kovacs
Set in 1985, outlaw superhero Rorschach was the first of the bunch to discover the death of one of their former members and began his investigation as to who could be conspiring behind their deaths.
Rorschach aka Walter Kovacs is voiced by Titus Welliver, who previously lent his voice to both Marvel and DC: Agent Felix Blake in Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Carmine Falcone in Batman: The Long Halloween Parts One and Two.

Vindication for critics who thought Kevin Costner’s epic “Horizon: An American Saga — Chapter 1″ (Warner Bros.) felt more like a TV drama: It was an immediate #1 on VOD top 10 lists.
The first of a planned four-film series, with the second already completed (and now delayed after the postponement of its August release), it showed poorly in theaters with $28.5 million in U.S./Canada after its fourth weekend. Its rapid transition to home viewing after 18 days (standard for Universal beyond its biggest hits) looks like a smart move: It suggests there is an audience, although perhaps not one eager to watch the 181-minute epic in a theater.
This could help the troubled project gain traction, get it out of the red, and increase interest for “Chapter 2,” wherever/whenever it plays.
Military rescue thriller “Land of Bad” — starring Luke and Liam Hemsworth with Russell Crowe — leads at Netflix. For the second straight week,...

There have been many actors who have played Batman, and there will be many more in the future, but without a doubt the definitive voice of the Caped Crusader was Kevin Conroy as heard in "Batman: The Animated Series." When Conroy passed away in 2022, it was a huge loss for the voice acting community, the superhero community, for fans, and for the world in general. It certainly didn't help that what audiences thought would be his final performance was in that maligned, awful "Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League" video game.
Thankfully, that wasn't the case. Instead, Conroy had one last gift to the world: a reunion with Mark Hamill's Joker. Hamill only ever voiced Joker opposite Conroy's Batman, and has now decided to retire from the role. This reunion takes place in "Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths -- Part Three," an animated movie adaptation of Marv Wolfman...

This week, Warner Bros. Animation released the final chapter in their animated Justice League trilogy, and it’s a real tear-jerker for Batman fans both old and new. “Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths Part Three” marks legendary voice actor Kevin Conroy’s last time playing the Dark Knight – and man, does he go out with style.
Conroy has been the voice of Batman for over 30 years now, ever since the classic 1990s animated series. His gruff yet caring take on the Caped Crusader really defined the character for a whole generation. So getting to see and hear him back in action one last time is super nostalgic and emotional at the same time. Especially now that we know Conroy sadly passed away last year from cancer at only 66 years old.
What makes this send-off even better is that Conroy gets to reunite with his frequent co-star Mark Hamill, who...

Corey Stoll depicted the character Darren Cross, also known as Yellowjacket, in ‘Ant-Man.’ In the film, Stoll’s character serves as the CEO of Pym Technologies and becomes fixated on replicating the technology of Dr. Hank Pym (portrayed by Michael Douglas). This obsession leads him to create the Yellowjacket suit, which shares similarities with Ant-Man’s suit but with a militaristic agenda.
Although his arc seemingly concludes in ‘Ant-Man,’ Stoll returned to the MCU in the recently released ‘Quantumania,’ albeit under a different guise – M.O.D.O.K.
Fans heavily criticized M.O.D.O.K. for its poor CGI quality, with Stoll’s character offering little beyond comedic relief. This departure from the source material, where M.O.D.O.K. often posed a genuine threat, disappointed many.

To many Batman fans, the ultimate version of the character on the screen was the voice interpretation by the late Kevin Conroy. Conroy played Batman in numerous adaptations, but it all started with Batman: The Animated Series, arguably the best animated series in history. Conroy passed away in 2022 due to cancer and his last performance as The Dark Knight will be in Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Three, which is a posthumous appearance that will once again reunite Conroy’s Batman with Mark Hamill’s Joker.
Although Conroy actually got the chance to appear as a live-action version of Batman in the Batwoman episode “Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part Two,” which was part of a major Arrowverse crossover, he was supposed to make another live-action appearance in the canceled one-season show, Gotham Knights, according to the series’ showrunners.

The first full-length trailer for Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part Three has just hit (via Toonado.com), and it teases what looks to be a high-stakes finale to this animated trilogy (and the Tomorrowverse as we know it).
With the Anti-Monitor on the loose, a whole host of heroes assemble to save the Multiverse, but it looks like that will be easier said than done when they also have Lex Luthor to contend with. Several other villains are also spotted, including The Joker, Scarecrow, and Two-Face.
In terms of cameos, the trailer ends with another Batman: The Animated Series tease. Batman Beyond also appears, but perhaps the biggest surprise comes when we return to the world of the Super Friends!
The Saturday morning cartoon aired between 1973 and 1985 on ABC and was produced by Hanna-Barbera. That classic animation style returns here and we're hoping the movie has even...

Justice League: Crisis On Infinite Earths - Part Three Cover Art Reveals The Movie's Lead Characters
When the news broke during last year's San Diego Comic-Con that the Crisis on Infinite Earths comic book was being turned into a three-part animated movie, DC fans rejoiced.
The CW previously adapted the story for the Arrowverse, but this version had the opportunity to bring together countless animated characters from across the Dcau in an ambitious retelling of the story. Unfortunately, the opening two chapters have been mostly disappointing.
There's still a chance it will end on a high note, of course, and a first look at Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part Three's cover art has now found its way online (via Toonado.com).
Recreating the iconic shot of Superman holding the downed Supergirl, we also see Mister Terrific, Batman, Lex Luthor, Hawkgirl, Hourman, Wonder Woman, and The Joker. Looming in the background is the massive Anti-Monitor.
While a Watchmen movie is still expected to be released later this year,...
