John Stamos and Kristin Davis are co-starring opposite each other in Gore Vidal's Broadway play "The Best Man," but that doesn't mean they've watched the classic TV shows that made the other famous.
The duo appeared on "Good Afternoon America" on Tuesday, and things got slightly awkward when host Josh Elliott brought up "Full House" and "Sex And The City."
Stamos revealed he had just recently watched an episode of "Sex And The City" for the first time, but couldn't make it through. "You were naked in a sauna?" he quipped to Davis.
But Davis did him one worse, admitting that she'd never seen an episode of "Full House."
Elliott summed up horror of the TV-watching public, exclaiming, "I don't even know you people anymore!"

ABC, I think you have something here.
Monday marked the debut of Good Afternoon America, a chat show/news program hybrid that plucked Good Morning America personalities Lara Spencer and Josh Elliott from the background and tossed them into the forefront. The result? A fun, fresh-yet-familiar daytime program that was pretty successful, considering it was the first show.
Sure, it was rocky. (They cut off guest Liza Minnelli!) Sure, the segments need refining. And sure, they were clearly a little nervous, But I adore this pair. As on Gma, Elliott’s laid-back demeanor and Spencer’s bubbly (but not overbearing) personality complemented each other.

Zap2it: Does this strike you as a logical time for a "Good Afternoon America"?
Josh Elliott: With all due respect to the great people at [the now-canceled] "The Revolution" -- they've come on "Good Morning America" several times, and they've been really dear contributors -- when that hole opened up in the schedule, it wasn't like we were reinventing the wheel. We're just making a fifth one.
Like with anything on television, I think you have to be a little different to succeed. You can't just go out there and do something that's expected, and yet, that's what's good about ("Gma"). When we take turns doing the lighter fare, that extemporaneous quality is something that people respond to, so that's what we'll be doing here.
Zap2it: How much do you think the existence of "Good Afternoon America" owes to recent ratings gains by "Good Morning America"?

JIll Zarin has some "great news" to share: The former "Real Housewives of New York" star blogged that she's joining ABC's "Good Morning America" spinoff, "Good Afternoon America."
While celebrating the Fourth of July, Zarin wrote the following on her blog:
"Hollywood called" again. Well not exactly ... it was a producer from Gma. I was asked to be a special correspondent on ... Good Afternoon America, that will air live from Times Square daily ... I am doing a weekly reality show segment on Wednesdays at 2pm ... giving my opinion on reality shows.
The afternoon spinoff of "Good Morning America" was officially announced in May and will be co-hosted by "Gma" regulars Lara Spencer and Josh Elliott. "Good Afternoon America" launches on Monday, July 9 and will focus firmly on the lighter side of the news, with musical performances, pop culture updates and "original entertainment, lifestyle, health, workplace and consumer reporting."
Zarin added that her first segment,...
