Good news - Hamilton's digital lottery is officially back for the winter, meaning that fans can enter online daily for a chance to see one of Broadway's biggest hits. Better news - this means that Digital Ham4Ham is back, featuring surprise performances from the cast. Today's Ham4Ham video features Lin-Manuel Miranda in his first time onstage at Hunter College Elementary School's Talent Show. Below, watch 1st-grade Lin lip-sync to 'Land of Confusion' by Genesis featuring lead singer Phil Collins, of course. Commenting on his hip shades, Miranda wrote, 'The sunglasses were a whole thing, I had to get rid of them.' But we think they were a pretty good look...

We just got a first look at Oscar nominee Woody Harrelson as Lyndon Baines Johnson in Rob Reiner's upcoming biopic about the 36th president. Like Bryan Cranston's recent Tony-winning performance as Lbj in Broadway's "All the Way," it seems pretty convincing. It also looks creepy as hell. Take a glimpse. Woody Harrelson as Lyndon Johnson This got us thinking: What are some other chills-worthy portrayals of commanders-in-chief? These immediately sprang to mind. Alan Rickman as Ronald Reagan (with Jane Fonda as Nancy Reagan) Thankfully Rickman and his claymation-faced version of Reagan only appeared in Lee Daniels' "The Butler" for a short time, otherwise we'd have been subjected to his melted "Land of Confusion" mug for longer than is advisable. Jane looks great as Nancy, but this was some baldfaced stunt casting. Robin Williams as Teddy Roosevelt I can't believe we have a series of movies about the...

We’ve been on hiatus. I think that means I’ve been lazy, but to you it probably only felt like moments. Seconds even. Maybe you’ve been chomping at the bit awaiting the arrival of the latest installment of 1980x. Maybe you forgot about me.. well I didn’t forget about you dear readers. I got soooo busy reviewing goddamn movies that I forgot about what it is that I love about writing about ideas. Concepts. I forgot that analysis is anal with a few letters scrawled at the end to make it look fancy. Not that there’s anything wrong with anal… which brings us to tonight’s conversation on It Came From 1980x. Let’s talk about the psycho-sexual, munging and cunnilinguini of Brian Yuzna’s 1989 satire horror gross out, Society.

Phil Collins is hanging up his drumsticks for good. The 60-year old former Genesis drummer and Patrick Bateman favorite has had hearing troubles as well as nerve damage, according to THR. Collins was blunt in an interview, "I don't think anyone's going to miss me," he said, adding, "I look at the MTV Music Awards and I think, 'I can't be in the same business as this.'"
The 80's hit maker's blatant disdain for the music industry got me thinking about his own work over the decades, much of which makes us all cringe. But Collins, who stands among the most successful recording artists of all time, has such an enormous body of work and influence that it's easy to pick out a few things to love him for (even if we're laughing at some of it too).

"Dogtooth" (2009)
Directed by Giorgos Lanthimos
Released by Kino
"Enter the Void" (2010)
Directed by Gaspar Noé
Released by Mpi Home Video
Somehow it's fitting that two of last year's most dangerous films will be hitting DVD shelves the same week, both being favorites of the IFC.com staff. "Dogtooth," Lanthimos' much-debated Un Certain Regard winner from Cannes, concerns the lives of three culturally isolated children -- two daughters and a son, who range from mid-teens to early 20s -- fenced in by their parents' country home, who receive a reeducation when their lone connection to the outside world, a female security guard for their parents' business, introduces them to the joys of sex and Sylvester Stallone films. Meanwhile, "Irreversible" provocateur Noé's latest is a wildly ambitious 155-minute extravaganza set inside the mind of a drug dealer told from the first-person perspective. Nathaniel Brown and "Boardwalk Empire" star Paz de la Huerta...

Get ready -- it's time for our 40th president to return to the big screen. One Mr. Ronald Reagan, Hollywood actor, California Governor, and leader of the free world through the '80s, is getting a biopic. Avoiding puppets and "The Land of Confusion," the biopic will be a comprehensive story about his life from childhood to presidency, an amalgamation of two bestselling biographies by Paul Kengor: The Crusader and God and Ronald Reagan.
And this won't be like the last stab at Reagan's life, the miniseries Reagans with James Brolin. Instead of whipping up anger for "left-wing bias," this project is getting ready for a more celebratory affair.

This week, TV confused us. On Ugly Betty, little Justin kissed a girl... and a boy. Lost threw us for a loop by making bad-boy Sawyer a cop. American Idol's Kara DioGuardi made us ask: Ignorance or just a really dry sense of humor? And the titular heroine of The Good Wife went bad, cheating on her cheating husband with her attentive boss. Welcome to Top Moments: Land of Confusion Edition.
