Here’s one for the Sad Keanu file: “Replicas,” an upcoming sci-fi thriller in which our man plays a scientist attempting to bring his family members back to life after they die in a car accident. If 50 percent of all marriages end in divorce, why do we even try? That’s the question filmmaker Tao Ruspoli set out to explore following a painful divorce, interviewing relatives, advice columnists, psychologists, historians, anthropologists, artists, philosophers, sex workers, sex therapists, and ordinary couples about love, sex & monogamy. Featuring recognizable sex and relationship experts like Dan Savage and Esther Perel, as well as divorce lawyer Diana Adams and “Sex At Dawn” author Christopher Ryan, “Monogamish” taps into the zeitgeist in a very real way. This flashy new trailer is any indication, it might just cause you to question everything.
“Every new relationship is kind of an adventure, and then the adventure goes away. Then it’s just kind of where you live,” says Savage in the opening beats. Perel, host of the popular podcast “Where Should We Begin?,” adds: “On the one hand, we want security and stability. We also...

There have been a lot of ups and downs for Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) these last few years. He’s seen a loved one die in his arms, expanded his criminal empire from Birmingham to London, and forged an uneasy alliance with a crazed jeweler (Tom Hardy). Not unlike nursery rhymes and fairy tales, cartoons are sometimes revealed to have been quite dark in hindsight. “Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends” is the latest children’s program to be so reassessed, most recently in an extensive New Yorker essay about the show’s “repressive, authoritarian soul.” Its arguments are quite convincing.

The annual honorary Governors Awards are when Oscar lobbyists see the first results of the season, and this batch is notable for its global diversity: a Belgian woman filmmaker, a Canadian movie star, and an African-American director. The Board of Governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences voted September 5, and they go to actor Donald Sutherland, writer-director Agnes Varda, and American independent filmmaker Charles Burnett and cinematographer Owen Roizman.
The statues will be presented November 11 at the 9th annual Governors Awards ceremony at Hollywood & Highland.
“This year’s Governors Awards reflect the breadth of international, independent and mainstream filmmaking, and are tributes to four great artists whose work embodies the diversity of our shared humanity,” said Academy president John Bailey.

One last ride? Oooootay! I don't even care that the lips don't sync up in this trailer mashup for Furious 7 and The Little Rascals, the editing is still fantastic! It also brought to my attention how big of a fall that old man took for the film! That had to be a younger stunt man in makeup, right? I don't know if I would risk a move like that in my old age!

Moving ahead with the “Fast & Furious” series without its heart and soul, Paul Walker, is going to be a tall task, but Vin Diesel and Universal insist on trying. And a new poster uploaded by Diesel on Facebook Tuesday, while it doesn’t look like studio-sanctioned key art, hits the right notes. “New roads ahead,” it declares above the title, continuing the theme of the last few films’ marketing. For “Fast & Furious 6,” the poster tagline was “All roads lead to this.” For “Furious 7,” it was “One last ride.” Walker was killed in a car accident in November 2013 during a break.

Furious 7 took the 14-year-old Fast franchise to the next level this weekend with a stunning $147.2 million debut. That opening ranks ninth all-time behind The Avengers, Iron Man 3, the final Harry Potter, two Dark Knight movies, two Hunger Games and Spider-Man 3.The movie also opened to an incredible $245 million overseas; that's without any help from China, Japan and Russia, where it will open in the next few weeks. So far, Furious 7 has earned $392 million worldwide, and is very likely on track to earn over $1 billion by the end of its run.At the domestic box office, Furious 7's $147.2 million debut is 55 percent higher than Captain America: The Winter Soldier's $95 million, which was the previous April record holder. This is also the biggest debut in the franchise thus far, up a whopping 51 percent over Fast & Furious 6. Furious 7 earned $13.3 million on IMAX screens alone, which...

We wave a fond goodbye to one of the funniest, kindest sitcoms in recent memory, NBC's Parks And Recreation...
On Tuesday night America bade farewell to the people of Pawnee, Indiana for the last time as NBC sitcom Parks And Recreation reached the end of its seven-year run.
The final episode, One Last Ride, sees Leslie Knope unite with her former Parks Department colleagues to mend a broken swing, celebrating the good old days as each of the gang prepares to move on to the next stage in their lives. As the friends (or, as Ron puts it, ‘workplace proximity associates’) enjoy their last day together, we get a glimpse ahead at the future to learn what becomes of our beloved heroes (And Garry/Larry/Terry/Jerry).
If you were expecting something more explosive and dramatic for Parks’ double-length finale, then you’ve probably been watching a different show for the last seven years.

How do you say goodbye to a show that has brought so much joy and humor to the world? There's no easy way. Parks and Recreation wrapped its seven-year run with a star-studded, tear-jerking and time-jumping finale and the question we face now is: What will we do without Leslie Knope? There will never be another Leslie Knope. And that's fine. Amy Poehler infused so much earnest energy into the role, taking her from unlikeable—we can all admit the character wasn't the best in season one—to admirable. We'll never forget Leslie Knope and the rest of the Parks and Rec crew. In the appropriately titled "One Last Ride," Leslie Knope assembles the former Pawnee parks and recreation...

He talked about how once upon a time, he was convinced that the show would end with the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the park Leslie built on Lot 48. He talked, as he so often does,...

James Wan's Furious 7 is moving full speed ahead towards its April 3 premiere. As such, the production has a brand new TV spot to get people excited for the latest film in the Fast & Furious franchise.
Check it out right here:
The ad campaign continues to push the "One Last Ride" tagline, seemingly attempting to capitalize on the sentimentality audiences will have about this being the final appearance of Paul Walker. Walker died suddenly on November 30, 2013 after filming a good portion of the movie. The tagline, though, seems a tad ill-fitting when you consider that the this probably isn't the finale of the series.
So what do you think? Will you be joining the gang for one last ride with Walker? What are the chances that Furious 7 is the end?

A couple of days ago Universal Pictures released an insanely cool Furious 7 trailer that you have to see if you haven’t already. We now have a new poster for the film, and as you can see, it has a solemn feel to it. Paul Walker looking as Vin Diesel lowers his head in reverence. Then you have the tagline, “One Last Ride.” Diesel said this on his Facebook page:
"Our objective was to make Paul Walker proud... "After watching Furious 7, and his timeless performance... we realized that it was Paul, who has made all of us... so very proud."
Even though the poster may have a melancholy vibe, you know from the trailers that this film is going to be anything but. The action in the movie looks so ridiculously amazing. The movie hits theaters on April 3rd.

I don't know, is this post a little too on the nosec It was released as a new poster for Furious 7, but it appears more as an In Memorium for Paul Walker, especially with Vin Diesel hanging his head in the blurry foreground and the "One Last Ride" tagline considering we already know Universal is planning on making, at the very least, a Fast and Furious 8. Either way, here it is, let me know what you think. Too far or respectable enough to be right on targetc sb id="1428321" height="360" width="640" Continuing the global exploits in the franchise built on speed, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker lead the returning cast of Fast and Furious 7, which will be released by Universal Pictures on April 3, 2015. James Wan directs this chapter of the hugely successful series, and Neal H. Moritz and Vin Diesel return as producers.

Vin Diesel is the literal and figurative big man on Facebook’s online campus, and he often uses his massive platform to tease upcoming projects. On Sunday, the man behind “Guardians of the Galaxy’s” Groot teased his possible involvement in another Marvel movie, “Inhumans,” using his Facebook cover photo as bait.
The photo is suspiciously not currently available to embed, but TheWrap grabbed a snapshot. The cover photo, which was only up for six hours, shows Diesel in an Inhumans shirt, standing in front of a simple question: “Are You Inhuman?”

Universal has not had the best luck with franchises over the last decade or so, but the one series that they can take full credit for nurturing and developing from an unlikely first film into what is now a globally-hyped event as part seven prepares to hit theaters. I would have never pegged "The Fast And The Furious" as the beginning of a massive franchise, and I'm sure no one working on the film would have guessed how big this would eventually become. It's been a one of a kind happy accident, and Universal deserves credit for understanding what was happening and managing it properly. This particular edition is marked by sadness because of the real-life loss of Paul Walker, but it feels from the trailer like they 're aiming high once again. The stunt sequence that opens the trailer is completely bananas as a big idea, combining all sorts...

Ah, "The Expendables" franchise. Much like the actors who star in the movie -- it just won't die. Every couple of years we're #blessed with one of these movies, which feature a bunch of past-their-prime action stars, many of whom were vastly more popular 30 years ago, embroiled in some kind of scenario where they have to fire round after round of high powered weapon while cracking wise and acknowledging, at least to a certain degree, that they've all gotten very old.
If the trailers are any indication, "The Expendables 3" is the last film in the franchise (the words "One Last Ride" keep being thrown around). So they've rounded up all the old folks (among them: Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson, Robert Davi, Wesley Snipes and Kelsey Grammer) and placed all kinds of guns in their hands and sent them about their business.

Critics like to complain about sequels and franchises doing the same thing over and over again, but sometimes it takes a movie like “The Expendables 3” to give you a new appreciation for repetition and formula. The first two “Expendables” installments played as a cross between “Grumpy Old Men” and a generic 1980s action movie, with stars slightly past their shelf date strapping on the automatic weapons and jumping out of helicopters, all the while complaining that they're getting too old for this s–t.
