Sam Adegoke, who currently stars in CW’s Dynasty reboot, and Frances Fisher are set for 8000 Shots, an indie film which Talia Lugacy wrote and is directing. Rosario Dawson is producing the film with Lugacy, who previously directed Dawson in the 2007 drama, Descent, along with Adegoke, Noah Lang, and Cheyenne Drinkwater.

Adegoke stars as Will Larue, a combat veteran who served in the Iraq war, who loses his friend and fellow vet to suicide, which resurrects his past and forces him to confront the fact that healing from war is not possible.

Previously, Adegoke has appeared Lifetime’s Searching for Neverland and had recurring stints on Freeform’s Switched at Birth and Murder in the First on TNT. He’ll reprise his role as Jeff Colby when Dynasty returns in the fall.

Street Outlaws is one of the Discovery channel's most successful shows. Now eleven seasons strong, the series shows no time of slowing down any time soon.

The show has even broken off into two spin offs-- Street Outlaws: New Orleans and Street Outlaws: Memphis. Street Outlaws is unique to other reality shows, as it displays real illegal activities.

Kent McCray, producer of the classic Little House on the Prairie series, died of natural causes on June 3 at his home in Los Angeles. He was 89 years old.

As native Hartford, Conn., McCray’s career spanned more than 50 years. He was born on June 7, 1928, and is the second son of Thomas Chapman McCray, who was an executive with the NBC Radio Network as well as Dorothy Baldwin McCray who was a singer and a musician.

After graduating from Kimball Union Academy in New Hampshire — where his love of storytelling grew — he studied theater arts at the University of Hartford under Dr. Elemer Nagy. After receiving his diploma in 1948 he worked for the Central City Opera Association in Colorado and then went on to build his television career in Los Angeles.

Two Overwatch League teams are getting virtual clubhouses as part of an initiative to bring fans closer to the players, Linden Lab’s Sansar announced Wednesday.

The collaboration with the Houston Outlaws and San Francisco Shock comes “in response to the global demand for esports and memorable fan experiences,” offering gamers a “virtual clubhouse” in which to interact with their favorite players and personalities, stream matches, and buy merchandise.

For the Outlaws, this virtual space will be called “Hideout,” with Shock fans getting Vr arena “Epicenter.” Sansar maintains that these immersive, interactive viewing experiences will be on par with real-life events, even offering virtual photo opportunities and meet-and-greets for fans.

Sydney-born Australian actor Rod Taylor, best known as the star of George Pal's original film adaptation of "The Time Machine" and Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds," died Wednesday of a heart attack in Los Angeles. He was 84.

Taylor made his feature debut in 'Time,' the 1960 screen version of H.G. Wells' classic. He followed that up voicing the lead dog in Disney's "101 Dalmatians" and delivered a strong performance in "The Birds".

Yet his career never really soared as high after those early successes, even though he kept working in various films such as "Sunday in New York ," "36 Hours," "Young Cassidy," "The Liquidator," "The Glass Bottom Boat," "Hotel," "Dark of the Sun," "Nobody Runs Forever," "Darker Than Amber," "The Train Robbers," "Bearcats!," "The Oregon Trail," "Masquerade," "Outlaws," "Falcon Crest," and "Welcome to Woop Woop".

His last role was that of Winston Churchill in Quentin Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds".

If the year 2014 proved to be an exceptionally cruel one in terms of the number of legendary celebrities who passed away, the new year is off to an equally depressing start with the news that Rod Taylor has passed away at age 84. Taylor, who was two days away from his 85th birthday, died suddenly from a heart attack following a dinner party at his home. He was surrounded by friends and family when the end came.  Taylor was a solid leading man who came to prominence in the late 1950s. Although Australian by birth, the ruggedly handsome Taylor could effectively play Brits, Irishmen and Americans with convincing ease.
