Trivia | This movie was made in 1983, two years after François Mitterrand had been elected President of the French Republic. Mitterrand had a daughter out of wedlock christened Mazarine, which was then nine years old and being raised in utmost secrecy. As in the case of JFK & Marilyn, all the cognoscenti in the French press knew and no one would tell.
