Jeff Bezos and his future wife Lauren Sanchez hold hands as they arrive at the State Dinner on Wednesday (April 10) at the White House in Washington, DC.
The dinner was hosted by President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden to honor Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
If you don’t know, the Amazon founder and his fiancee got engaged back in May of 2023. It’s unclear when they will be getting married at this time, but they did throw a star-studded engagement party.
The couple first went public with their relationship back in 2019, following Jeff‘s split with his wife of over 24 years, Mackenzie Scott. Lauren was formerly married to CAA’s Patrick Whitesell. The news of their divorce in 2019 came one day after Jeff Bezos‘ divorce was finalized.

Upon its release, Chloé Zhao’s Eternals made history by becoming the first Marvel Cinematic Universe film to have received a Rotten score on Rotten Tomatoes. Currently, the film sits at a meager rating of 47%. However, having given a 77% score, the audience clearly does not agree with the critics and believes that the film was not really as bad as they are saying. Many fans would agree that while Eternals was not one of the MCU’s greatest works, it still was an entertaining one-time watch, at least.
Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Eternals (2021)
Eternals explored many impressive themes including faith and loyalty and the characters somehow managed to make a tiny place in the viewers’ hearts. Richard Madden’s Ikaris was a fan-favorite character who suffered the dilemma of either fulfilling his purpose or staying loyal to his family. In the end, Ikaris chose to sacrifice his life. According to reports, MacKenzie Scott’s donation announcement came after Elon Musk accused her of “destroying Western civilization” by distributing money. Initially promising to donate $250M, Scott seemingly doubled the amount after Musk’s taunt. Now, her total donation turned out to be more than what Eternals and The Marvels earned at the box office combined.

With each release, Torres, a.k.a. Mackenzie Scott, has unleashed newfound levels of apprehension and yearning. On her sixth studio album, What an Enormous Room, she pulls back on the eccentric, stadium-ready rock of 2021’s Thirstier in favor the kind of introspective dirges that characterized her early work. As a result, the album offers slightly less in the way of hooks but homes in further on themes of anxious attachment and personal growth.
With the swaggering funk rhythm of opener “Happy Man’s Shoes,” Scott reintroduces herself as independent and comfortably numb, shrugging off a lover’s judgment. “My star’s just on the rise, babe,” she deadpans before adding, “I love you/I love you.” Here, defiance lives alongside devotion, and while this seeming contradiction is characteristic of Scott’s music, the song subverts the desperation she displayed on albums like 2020’s lovelorn Silver Tongue.

Jeff Bezos‘ fiancée Lauren Sánchez recently shared an empowered photo on Instagram Stories where she proudly flaunted a triangle bikini design.
Posed next to her sister, Elena Sanchez Blaire, the two showcased a harmonious fashion statement, both in denim shorts and sunglasses.
Sánchez complemented her beach ensemble with gold earrings and a stylish visor, which she layered over her hair. The exact location of their photo remains a mystery, but Sánchez has had several opportunities to showcase her swimwear.
Sánchez recently celebrated her 54th birthday in St. Barts in a red Nensi Djoka gown, with her friends also embracing the same vibrant hue.
Sánchez’s fashion choices reflect her inner strength and serve as a reminder to embrace individuality and unapologetically break free from societal expectations.

New Delhi, Sep 13 (Ians) Tesla & SpaceX CEO Elon Musk got upset when Amazon founder Jeff Bezos did not invite him to visit Blue Origin’s factory, Musk’s biography by American author-journalist Walter Isaacson has revealed.
The new biography, titled “Elon Musk”, highlights the early stages of his relationship with Bezos when he invited the Amazon founder to tour SpaceX in 2004, reports Insider.
Following the tour, Musk sent Bezos a “curt” email expressing his disappointment at not being invited to see Blue Origin’s factory in return, according to Isaacson.
A surprised Bezos then responded to the email with an invitation.
According to the biography, after touring Blue Origin, the couple had dinner with their then wives, MacKenzie Scott and Justine Musk. Apparently, the dinner did not go over well due to Musk’s seemingly unwanted advice to Bezos, as reported in this book and in Christian Davenport’s book,...

Jeff Bezos is reportedly headed to the altar once again. On May 22, a source told People that 59-year-old former Amazon CEO and multibillionaire Bezos is engaged to 53-year-old broadcast journalist Lauren Sánchez. Reps for Bezos did not immediately respond to Popsugar's request for comment, and reps for Sanchez could not immediately be reached.
The news comes shortly after Bezos and Sánchez were spotted in the South of France, where they attended the Cannes Film Festival and spent time on Bezos's new $500 million yacht. Called Koru, which is a Māori word for loop and which symbolizes new beginnings, the yacht also includes a sculpture of what looks like Sánchez on its prow, per People.
The pair first went public in January 2019, shortly after Bezos divorced his wife of 25 years, MacKenzie Scott. Sánchez and Bezos have since attended numerous events together, and they've also shared affectionate social media posts in celebration of their love.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery they say, and Jeff Bezos, 59, is doing just that for his girlfriend, Lauren Sánchez, 53.
Bezos had a wooden sculpture, in the likeness of the former anchor, placed on the prow of his superyacht.
The yacht is reported to have cost $500 million and according to Boat International, is said to be record-breaking in size, known to be the largest sailing yacht in the world and the longest built in the Netherlands.

It made its sailing debut on the waters last month and was made specifically for the billionaire tycoon.
Bezos named his yacht, Koru, which in Maori means new beginnings. Ironically, the Amazon founder’s superyacht forced the partial dismantling of a historic bridge in Rotterdam. De Hef was opened in 1927 and many locals were understandably unhappy about Bezos’ disturbance.
“That is really going a bridge too far,” politician Stephen Leewis tweeted.

‘Bezos: the Beginning’ is a made-for-television movie now available for streaming on Amazon Prime and Google Play. It details the rise, trials, and tribulations of Bezos’ early life in his attempt to start his now titanic e-commerce company. We witness Bezos (played by Armando Gutierez) start out as an endearing yet unconfident VP of a hedge fund company, then transition to creating an entirely online startup for purchasing books, then the polishing and repolishing of the idea of Amazon until it bears some semblance of how we know it today. I was surprised that a biopic about his life hadn’t been made yet. To any given American citizen, Bezos is a wealth of mysteries and secrets. He represents our current economic system at its most extreme, and is as famous as any other famous tech giant. Surely someone would have tried to make a film about him in the...

Time has selected Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky “and the spirit of Ukraine” as its Person of the Year.
“This year’s choice was the most clear-cut in memory,” the magazine’s editor-in-chief Edward Felsenthal wrote. “Whether the battle for Ukraine fills one with hope or with fear, Volodymyr Zelensky galvanized the world in a way we haven’t seen in decades.”
“Zelensky has been laser-focused on keeping the world’s eyes on Ukraine,” he wrote. “The former entertainer understood innately that attention is the planet’s most valuable currency and all but cornered the global market. He did this through meticulous image-building and repetition in his message. He was blunt, sometimes sarcastic, and always directly to the point: we must save Ukraine to save democracy.”

“Jeff and I are so proud to share that we have a new Bezos Courage and Civility Award winner — a woman who gives with her heart and leads with love and compassion in every aspect of her work,” the post read. “We can’t wait to see all the good that you’re...

It’s easy to forget that, before he was a multi-multi-billionaire with a penchant for phallic-shaped spaceships and whose record-breaking divorce bill barely scratched his status as one of the world’s wealthiest individuals (current position: number 2 behind Elon Musk), Jeff Bezos was just a regular Wall Street exec with a big idea.
But it’s this pre-global domination period, when Amazon was merely a glint in Bezos’ eye, that’s the focus of a new biopic being touted at the American Film Market.
Entitled Bezos: The Beginning and from Vision Films, the film is based on the book Zero to Hero and, according to director Khoa Le, looks to “tell a story about a person that works a 9-5 job, doesn’t have entrepreneurship experience, but has this idea of building something that was going to change the future.”

MacKenzie Scott filed for divorce from her second husband Dan Jewett on Monday after less than two years of marriage.
Scott’s first marriage to Jeff Bezos, the world’s richest man and Amazon founder, lasted for 25 years and ended in 2019. She then met the science teacher at her children’s school and married him in 2021.
Scott inherited 4 of Amazon shares, with a value of over 30 billion at the time, after her divorce from Bezos. She donated more than 4 billion during the pandemic and created a philanthropic partnership with Jewett to donate their enormous fortune to good causes.
Jewett expressed his pride in Scott and enthusiasm for charity in his message on The Giving Pledge, a site that encourages wealthy people to give a large portion of their money to charity last year.
“I am married to one of the most generous and kind people I know – and joining her...

Amazon boss Jeff Bezos has revealed his son warned him not to “eff up” the Lord of the Rings prequel series The Rings of Power.
Speaking at the UK premiere of the Amazon Prime Video series – at the Odeon Luxe cinema in Leicester Square, London – Bezos talked about how his children are also big fans of the fantasy world created by author Jrr Tolkien.
“In fact one of my boys, I think, approaches the level of a Tolkien scholar he knows so much about this universe,” Bezos said in a rare speech. “And after Amazon got involved in this project, my son came up to me one day, he looked me in the eyes, very sincerely, and he said: ‘Dad, please don’t eff this up.’ And he was right.

Spoiler alert: The following article discusses the “Loot” Season 1 finale, “The Silver Moon Summit.”
When creators Matt Hubbard and Alan Yang came up with their Apple TV+ billionaire spoof series “Loot,” they weren’t looking to be apologists for the ultra-wealthy. In trying to craft a “juicy” role for Maya Rudolph, they were instead inspired to explore “how much of an outsize effect people with that level of money have on all of our lives.”
The quasi-workplace comedy — which follows newly divorced Molly Novak (Rudolph), who is forced to start anew with 87 billion after unearthing her tech mogul husband’s infidelity — has been dancing around the ethical concerns of billionairedom from its genesis. Throughout the series, she tries to contribute to her charity foundation in a meaningful way in her attempts to course-correct for her inordinate capital. However, after a botched water machine demonstration for the fellow uber-wealthy in the finale,...

When I started at Feeding America in October 2018, I was honored and humbled to join an organization with which I had been familiar since I was a little girl. I came to the table with my own experiences, including my years at Walmart, and I recognized that the people we serve needed to be at that same table. We have a bold aspiration that every community and each person within it has access to the food and resources that they say they desire and need to thrive. We want to see the total food insecurity rate reduced to 5 percent by 2030 and reduce food insecurity disparities based on race and place by half, and we can’t possibly do this without our neighbors with lived experience at the table, elevating their voices and letting us know how we can help.

Maya Rudolph wasn’t exactly seeking out her next television series. Then Alan Yang and Matt Hubbard, with whom she’d made her last show, the afterlife dramedy Forever, reached out with an idea. They’d been watching Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’ longtime marriage to MacKenzie Scott implode when it came to them: What if they centered a series around the wife of a tech billionaire, who leaves her for another woman? The newly minted ex would need to start her life over, though without a prenup, she’d be doing so with 87 billion. Hubbard and Yang weren’t interested in making Loot, which debuts June 24 on Apple TV+, with anyone but Rudolph. “Hubbard and I worked on shows like Parks and Rec and 30 Rock, and to unlock the chemistry between an ensemble cast in a workplace comedy usually takes time, it...

The last time Alan Yang and Matt Hubbard collaborated with Maya Rudolph on a streaming comedy, it was Amazon’s Forever, an ambitiously strange and formally inventive examination of love and the afterlife. Other streaming credits for Yang have included Apple TV+’s Little America, an anything-goes anthological exploration of the immigrant experience, and the most recent season of Netflix’s Master of None, which audaciously (if not always successfully) extended the beloved, Emmy-winning series to include new characters and a new tone.
No strangers to using TV’s ever-widening landscape to tell often experimental stories, Yang and Hubbard are back with a new streaming comedy, Apple TV+’s Loot. The most unusual thing about Loot, it turns out, is where it’s airing.
