For the third time in six years, Rhett & Link have written and performed a song that introduces a glamorous holiday trend. After introducing viewers to their "Christmas Sweatz" in 2012 and putting on a "Christmas Face" in 2013, the inimitable YouTube duo have returned with another piece of eccentric holiday fashion. For 2017, say hello to the "Christmas Booty."
"Christmas Booty," which arrived on Rhett & Link's Good Mythical Morning channel on December 19, features the same formula as the duo's previous Yuletide tracks. At first, they dress up in typical wintry duds, as do guest stars Grace Helbig and Hannah Hart. Then, thanks to a makeover from a disheveled Mamrie Hart, the foursome's respective backsides are transformed into posterior Christmas masterpieces. Viewers also get to see a Channukah Booty modeled by Fine Bros Entertainment co-founder Benny Fine and a Kwanzaa Booty delivered (with an accompanying rap verse) by DeStorm Power.

The latest format to come out of the Fine Brothers Entertainment (Fbe) studio is a blast from the past. In a recent episode of the popular web series Teens React, young adults opened up a 100-year-old high school yearbook and explored the youth culture of the early 20th century.
As Fbe co-founder Benny Fine told Tubefilter in an email, the idea to look into high school life from a century past stemmed from his discovery of his great-grandmother's yearbook, which dates back to 1917. His team presented it to the stars of Teens React, who offered their opinions. As they perused the pages of the ancestral document, they commented on how different youth culture used to be. Instead of senior quotes, students of 1917 wrote poems; instead of science, they studied home economics.
Some details provided apt comparisons to the modern day. One 1917 student noted that, upon graduation, she hoped to become the first female president.

The Internet Creators Guild (Icg), a nonprofit formed by YouTube star Hank Green last year to champion digital creators, has helmed an open letter to FCC chairman Ajit Pai and members of Congress affirming their support for net neutrality. Net neutrality is a founding principle of the internet stating that service providers like Verizon and Comcast should treat all content on the internet the same with no sites being prioritized via quality or speed.
All told, 132 YouTube stars with a total of 161 million subscribers have signed the letter thus far, including The Fine Brothers, Rooster Teeth, Mindy McKnight, and Meg DeAngelis.

As mobile marketing currently enjoys a period of exponential growth, the new name of the game is engagement — deep engagement — executives in the field said on Tuesday at the 2016 edition of TheGrill, TheWrap’s annual entertainment and media conference at the Montage Beverly Hills. “React” video series creators Benny and Rafi Fine (a.k.a. The Fine Brothers), VoteBlast CEO Ardy Falaki, YouNow CEO Adi Sideman and Seriously CEO Andrew Stalbow appeared on a panel where they discussed this brave new world. The ability to gain and interpret real-time metrics, they agreed, gives mobile marketers a massive edge over traditional television.

Ahead of its Brandcast presentation this evening, which will be hosted by leading creator Lilly Singh, YouTube has released a brand new trailer touting the original series that have already debuted on its subscription service YouTube Red, as well as a handful of shows to come.
The action-packed clip teases two series set to premiere later this month: Sing It, an American Idol spoof from The Fine Brothers, and Bad Internet -- a series from Iac-owned comedy site CollegeHumor that’s described as “10 darkly comedic stories about technology and the Internet failing in surprising ways.” Both projects arrive on Wednesday, May 25.
The trailer also features the first glimpse of two as-yet-unseen YouTube Red projects: MatPat’s Game Lab and Escape the Night with Joey Graceffa. The Fine Brothers have released yet another one of their brilliantly-timed and pertinently-themed ‘react videos’ -- on the eve of last night’s Gop debate, during which the rhetoric took a rather unexpected and juvenile turn.
Entitled Kids React to Donald Trump, the clip has already racked up almost 1 million views overnight. At the outset of the video, the reactors -- all of whom are between the ages seven and 13 -- seem tickled by some of Trump’s outbursts, but by the end, they are unanimously appalled, with cries of “This guy is mean!” “That’s so mean!” and “That’s so rude!”
“He’s like a five-year-old,” says 13-year-old Kayla, when a clip is shown of Trump complaining about the microphone quality at one of his rallies. “He throws tantrums about, like, stupid things.”

The Fine Brothers have released a really fun short film called Movie Title Drug Deal. They made the film with Poykpac, and what makes it so great is that all of the dialogue used to propel the story forward was written using only the titles of movies. The Fine Brothers have released a new episode of Elders React, and in this one they have a group of older individuals watch the full trailer to Star Wars: The Force Awakens. These people were obviously a lot younger when the first Star Wars films were released, and as you'll see, some of them are still hardcore fans who are excited for the upcoming movie. My favorite guy in the video is Rock. He's definitely the most pumped up out of everyone in the video, and how can you not like a guy named Rock!? He also has the best reaction to the trailer. Earlier this year, YouTube celebrated its 10th birthday. Now, a few months later, one of the video site’s most resilient channels has reached that milestone as well. Smosh, the digital home of Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla, just turned ten--and its stars celebrated by remaking one of their first videos.
Ten years ago, Hecox and Padilla made their YouTube debut with a lip sync video set to the Power Rangers theme song. Five months after that, they released the first of their “Smosh shorts.” It was a brief sketch called “Dolls,” and to commemorate a decade of silliness, Hecox and Padilla remade it. The new version is just like the old one, except the Smosh guys have much better haircuts now.
Smosh’s 10th birthday celebration doesn’t end with the “Dolls” remake. The channel also posted a video in which Smosh’s fans, along with fellow YouTube stars like Rhett and Link,...

As they expand their operation, Benny and Rafi Fine are in need of a bigger team, and to that end, they have hired Brandie Tucker, a veteran TV producer, as Vice President of Alternative Television.

XMas Jammies by VisitTheGreenroom If you're going to make a big deal out of your Christmas cards, you might as well opt for a rap song/sneaky ad for your new venture/12 million view viral smash. I hope the kids won't be ashamed of this one when they grow up, but they will. 6. Kids Get Bad Christmas Gifts by Steve Greene Steve Greene is one of YouTube's most masterful trolls, and a bunch of children served as his most recent victims. The main draw is the cute kids factor, but Greene is also making an important comment about how ridiculous white elephant gift exchanges are.

Now, the Fine Bros' MyMusic can add itself to that list: the YouTube sitcom, set at a music company where most of the employees are referred to by their favorite genres instead of their names, will return for a second season. The second season will once again return to the MyMusicShow channel, which currently has more than 343,000 subscribers and over 26 million views. Though only the main show has been announced, expect the channel to continue to dish out plenty of auxiliary content; while MyMusic has been on hiatus, the Fine Bros have continued to post behind-the-scenes footage, live Q&A sessions, and, most recently, blooper reels. Benny and Rafi Fine are getting emo. The duo behind React and MyMusic have launched Emo Dad, an animated web series centered around a sad dad and hosted on their main Fine Brothers channel. Just like in MyMusic, the Fine Bros' most successful narrative web series, Emo Dad derives comedy by mocking particular musical stereotypes. Instead of centering on a judgmental, scarf-totting hipster, Emo Dad follows the life of a 47 year old emo kid (man?), complete with studded bracelets, black clothing, guyliner, and a generally negative (yet poetic) outlook of the harsh realities of life. It's safe to say no one understands his pain. Emo Dad is animated by Two Animators!, who previous collaborated with the Fine Bros on their Charlie Brown parody. The titular dad is voiced Scott Chernoff, who played Ganon in The Legend of Neil, while the more appropriately-aged emo son and his friend are voiced by Rafi and Benny Fine,...
