While Danny may be gone from the Florida Keys, his past will still loom large in Bloodline Season 2, especially when an old friend comes to visit. As first reported by TVLine, John Leguizamo has landed a series-regular role in the Netflix drama’s second season, one that has a special connection to the black sheep of the Rayburn family. Per TVLine, Leguizamo will play Ozzy Delvecchio, “a charming, violent, opportunistic wild card from Danny’s past who, in the wake of Danny’s murder, arrives in the Florida Keys with mysterious motives and threatens to wreak havoc in the lives of the Rayburns.” “We’ve been huge fans of John’s acting and writing for many years, and are absolutely thrilled to be collaborating with him,” Bloodline‘s executive producers Todd A. Kessler, Glenn Kessler and Daniel Zelman said to TVLine. “His enormous range and fearless creativity make him a...

There are early signs of romance in the Big Brother: Timebomb house but Danny Wisker has shrugged off the idea that he'll make a move on Sarah Greenwood just yet.
Jade Lynch told Big Brother in the Diary Room that Danny and Sarah liked each other and predicted that they could end up romantically entwined.
Big Brother Timebomb day one: Who are the best and worst housemates so far?
"I think they are flirting and into each other, but it is in the early stages," Jade said.
"If she stays in it could all go off between them I think it could be a crazy love affair."
Later in the day, Big Brother announced a task where the housemates - in teams of girls versus boys - had to work out to which other contestant various statements about sex and morals applied.

Even those not so thoroughly ensconced in Canadian politics know who Danny Williams is. He was the Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador from 2003 to 2010, and while he may not have been the head of the most powerful province, or the richest, or the most influential, or the most culturally significant, he did make a name and a reputation for himself as its leader.
Danny, the simply titled biographical film about Williams, chronicles his pre-political life and his tenure as perhaps the most influential provincial politician in Newfoundland since the quarter-century reign of Joey Smallwood from 1949 to 1972. It’s likely that only real politicos would consider a documentary about retired politician from Canada, but there is a universality to the story that the politically ignorant might appreciate.
Stylistically, Danny doesn’t re-invent the wheel. Interviews with Williams, his family, his friends and his former staff are all inter-cut with B-roll, archival footage,...

“The following is kind of based on a true story, a little bit,” reads the epigraph from Danny Collins.
From the very beginning, Danny Collins nods to the kind of movie that it is while recognizing what it doesn’t want to be. Everything on the outside makes Dan Fogelman’s (writer of Cars, Crazy Stupid Love and Last Vegas) directorial debut seem like a Lifetime movie of the week: the queasy biopic elements, the TV movie aesthetic and the “inspirational” theme that “it’s never too late to turn your life around and find redemption.”
Yet, in the canon of sentimental schlock, Danny Collins is a quiet revelation, a film that subverts all expectations and becomes quietly sentimental and poignant without ever feeling manipulative or cheap. It’s a film that plans out all the beats it will hit and does indeed hit them, but maybe not in the way we first foresaw.

Mindy Lahiri — a woman who clearly’s watched a lot of Sex and the City — apparently hasn’t watched enough of Carrie Bradshaw, because it took her nearly till the end of last night’s episode to realize Danny is totally in love with her. Yes, that’s after the two of them went apartment shopping together, and after Danny had a totally-crazy-stick-with-me-here-what-if-you-just-moved-into-my-building-into-the-apartment-next-door-to-mine-idea. This basically happened with Carrie and Aiden! He bought the apartment next door and it did not work out.
I know the two situations aren’t totally parallel, but I’m a little rom-com crazy right now.

There are many naysayers regarding the new character in Season Eight of Doctor Who, “Danny Pink.” Not helping matters is the colorful last name, nor the fear of changes in dynamic that a new companion can bring – after all, sometimes additional companions become “third wheel” characters, serving little purpose except to annoy. The original series’ character Adric serves as an example to both a useful character (as a more innocent, less knowledgeable foil to Tom Baker’s Doctor, serving as someone to which the Doctor can explain things) and as a useless appendage (as a wasted character, badly written as companion to Peter Davison’s Doctor).
Before going any further, every new major character since Patrick Troughton himself (and possibly before) brought worry to fandom, with some people worried that the show would suffer for the addition; that the show got cancelled once has heightened that worry, to the...

A child is killed. Two detectives, a man and a woman, take charge of the case. The investigation unfolds slowly, revealing lots of buried secrets along the way.
That's a very basic description of "Broadchurch," an eight-episode drama series that premieres Wednesday (Aug. 7) on BBC America. It could also be a description of "The Killing," which just concluded an improved but still problem-filled third season on AMC. Where the two shows go from their common starting point, however, is vastly different -- and "Broadchurch" is much better for it.
The series opens with the discovery of the body of a young boy at the beach in a small city on the English coast. Eleven-year-old Danny Latimer has either fallen or been thrown to his death from the cliffs above. Di Alec Hardy (David Tennant, worlds away from "Doctor Who") is assigned to the case along with DS Ellie Miller (Olivia Colman...

Nom claims Canada imprisoning anti-gay priests, Father Tiger’s “First Love,” and Zachary Quinto hopes Scotus decision is galvanizing
Zachary Quinto says he doesn’t know what the Supreme Court is going to decide, but he’s hopeful for the future when it happens. “We’ll see what happens… I’m certainly not going to hazard against it to say what happens, but I hope it’s a galvanizing moment, and I’m hopeful that [equal marriage] will be supported and we’ll continue to move forward. I think no matter what happens, it’s an unstoppable wave at this point, and I’ve said that before because I really believe it.”
If you’re hoping for Team Gay representation from Teen Wolf at Comic-Con, you’ll have to make due with Max Carver’s Ethan, because Keahu Kahuanui (who was at last night’s Hot 100 party in La) isn’t scheduled to attend.

With two episodes to go, we round-up the remaining question marks in the Broadchurch case. Speculation ahoy...
Spoiler warning: as ITV has kept episodes seven and eight of Broadchurch under wraps, the below contains no actual spoilers, just plenty of speculation on how the ending might unfurl.
At 10pm this evening, we’ll be one hour closer to finding out who killed Danny Latimer. Like those of Nanna Birk Larsen and Laura Palmer before her, young Danny’s murder has preoccupied the minds of a healthy chunk of TV viewers for the past six weeks, keeping us guessing, theorising, and mumbling about poor Vince the Labrador in our sleep.
With just two episodes of the Scandi-inflected small town murder remaining then, let’s put our heads together on the vital answers needed to deduce the identity of Broadchurch’s killer…

Danny may be dead, but the war still rages on!
Warner Bros. debuted a juicy sneak peek of what's next for the rebellion on Revolution at the show's WonderCon panel Saturday, moderated by this reporter. We knew war was coming, but the video below shows the dire consequences in store for both Monroe (David Lyons) and the rebels. Who will be taken hostage? Who shares a steamy kiss? And seriously, what was that little light-up pill that Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) removed from Danny's body? All that and more is featured in the video, so click play below!

There were several moments I really enjoyed here. I loved where Josh talked to his father about him paying for Josh to visit him in Thailand — the only problem being Josh would have to see his father there. Josh’s quiet comment of ‘That’s a shame’ was hilarious as was the bit with the dog in a dress. I also liked Tom talking about having a child, only to find out that you didn’t like it very much and would have to pretend to love it. It had an odd ring of truth. But, my favorite was the gag about the erotic gif that Tom made. This show is full of lines that are rich with wit and warmth. And Claire and Tom’s kiss in the rain was really sweet. But I still think that Tom’s ex isn’t pregnant.

People who choose local news broadcasts over the loftier network additions do so not for the quality of news, but the flavor with which it is delivered.
Like Danny, they would rather hear about foreign affairs from a local hot dog vendor than some on-location correspondent wearing too much makeup. Personally, I hardly ever watch the news at night, local or national. At the end of a long day, the last thing I want to listen to are a bunch of stories that sound like they were plucked from the headlines by the writers of Tosh.O and the Faces of Death film producers.
Instead of hearing about someone getting pushed onto the subway tracks or run over by a parade float, I prefer to laugh and let the day's stress fade away.
"Mindy's Minute" succeeded in helping me do just that, despite a rather ambitious slate of story lines.

Mindy and Danny have been musing about the day when they would take over the practice, but they never imagined it would come so soon.
As "Two to One" got underway, we said goodbye to Stephen Tobolowski's character and ushered in a new chapter on The Mindy Project.
Aside from the way Dr. Shulman just upped and quit, tonight was as balanced an episode as we have seen so far on the show. Critics have asked if we were ever going to see Mindy actually practice medicine and act like an actual doctor. Not only did we see her in the operating room, but we also watched her examination room manner, as well as her dedication to her job when she spent repeated nights on the hospital couch.
Mindy juggles a lot, what with her career, friends and love interests, but she has yet to drop a ball. I...

"Some Kind Of Hero" brought us three heros in one episode and the emotions that swirled around it all were almost overwhelming.
First Jamie saved the baby from the burning building. Um, where were the parents? No one ever answered that but I suppose it wasn't the point. Jamie saved a life and the press was scrambling to cover it.
Frank should have been the proud papa and he was, but that was overshadowed by the police commissioner and protective father
That Jamie's undercover operation could come back to bite him wasn't a new thought. I'd be surprised if the mob family doesn't figure out who he is sooner or later. He's the commissioner's son for goodness sake.
This time they dodged a bullet thanks to Sgt. Renzulli. How odd it must have been to take credit for a heroic act you never committed. But by putting on this act...

Danny DeVito not only lends his voice as the Lorax in Dr. Seuss' The Lorax for the English version but he dubbed the foreign version of the Lorax in Spanish, Castilian, German, Italian and Russian without being a fluent speaker in any of those international languages.
Danny may be the first actor to record his part in four different languages, Spanish, Italian, German, and Russian. In Dave Boyle’s sweet romantic comedy, Surrogate Valentine, San Francisco musician & rising star Goh Nakamura’s (playing himself) life of solitude is disrupted when he is hired to teach TV actor Danny Turner (Chadd Stoops) how to play guitar for an upcoming film. Hellbent on accurately portraying Goh’s mellow vibe for his role, Danny meticulously studies his every move. Together, the two embark on a hilarious West Coast adventure involving live gigs, groupies, shotgun-wielding record exes and an unexpected friendship. Along the way, Goh discovers that Danny may be the missing puzzle piece in his life-long chase for Rachel (Lynn Chen), the one that got away.

We are dropped into Central Park, where some cops on horseback have found the body of Danny Goldstein, a math guru who worked for a hedge-fund company. He's been shot in the chest and is without apparel. Beckett (Stana Katic) and Castle (Nathan Fillion) talk to Danny's sister, who confirm that Danny was a dork with no life, and I really hope my sibling doesn't relay that kind of info to people about me after I'm dead. Anyway, the first suspect, whose finger prints were on Danny's wallet, is a very scary man named D'Andre. He basically put Esposito (Jon Huertas) through a wall and into a neck brace, scared the crap out of Castle...but didn't do it. The gun D'Andre had didn't match the bullet. Why? Because the bullet is actually a lead ball, like the kind fired from flint-lock pistols. This, of course, means the killer is a time-traveler,...

Check out "American Idol" finalist Danny Gokey's debut album.
"My Best Days" officially drops on Tuesday, March 2, but you can get a sneak peek of Danny Gokey's album on the Rhapsody website (via Cmt).
We gave it a spin and actually enjoyed it, which surprised us. We were not Danny's biggest fans last year on "Idol."
Our favorite song on the album is the driving "Get Away." It's a rocky-country song and Danny's raspy voice sounds great on it. There's also a power ballad called "I Will Not Say Goodbye" that is quite good. We could easily hear either of those songs being played on country radio stations.
It looks like Danny may have found his niche in country music, which is great for him. If it worked for Carrie Underwood, then why not?

This week one of our biggest editions of Gays of Our Lives ever includes an interview with One Life to Live head writer Ron Carlivati, responsible for the Kyle/Oliver love story that has had daytime talking and made instant stars out of Brett Claywell, who plays Kyle Lewis, and Scott Evans, who plays Oliver Fish. We talk about the creation of the storyline, how the actors felt when they learned about the plot twist and why Kish has became such a sensation.
Plus, we find out what’s next for Llanview’s gays. Where do Oliver and Kyle go from here? Is Kyle’s ex Nick (Nicholas Rodriguez) out of the picture? And what about that baby that Oliver unknowingly fathered? We cover all of that and more in our interview.
