Coronation Street star Sol Heras has revealed that he would like a part in Downton Abbey.
The actor, who plays Weatherfield's Ryan Connor, has already filmed his final scenes in the soap.
Heras told Now magazine: "I'd love to do some dramas - something like Downton Abbey would be great.
"That's my dream, but a lot of people leave soaps and go straight to Hollywood. I'm trying to be more realistic.
"I have to take the right steps to build a foundation for one day possibly doing movies."
Heras also revealed that he would never consider doing a reality TV show, saying: "Categorically no! I got offered one, but turned it down.
"I won't go down that route no matter what my situation is. It's just not my cup of tea."
Coronation Street continues tonight (September 25) at 7.30pm on ITV. Heras's final scenes as Ryan Connor will be aired next week.

Coronation Street star Kym Marsh (Michelle) has confirmed rumours that her on-screen son Ryan Connor will be at the centre of a drugs storyline. Last month, show bosses announced that Ryan would be returning to the cobbles with new recruit Sol Heras playing the part.
