Gwyneth Paltrow is taking full advantage of Spring break. The actress recently jetted off to Mexico for a tropical getaway with her boyfriend, Brad Falchuk, and we're officially jealous. On Sunday, the couple - who made their romance Instagram official in early March - hit the beach wearing coordinating bathing suits and smiles. While Gwyneth looked amazing in a navy blue Helen Jon bikini, Brad, a TV writer behind hit shows like American Horror Story and Glee, rocked dark swimming trunks. The two chatted while lying in the sand before Gwyneth took a dip in the ocean. The couple has been quietly dating since Gwyneth split from Chris Martin in 2014, and certain sources think they could be headed down the aisle soon. "They speak about marriage all the time and know it'll happen," a source told Us Weekly in March. "Her kids love him and think he's the best." Gwyneth...

Rashida Jones made the most of the sunny Southern California weather while attending Revlon's annual philanthropic luncheon in La on Tuesday. The Angie Tribeca star was joined by her mom, Peggy Lipton, for the event, which was held in support of the Revlon women's health mission and also brought out Halle Berry, Jennifer Hudson, and Melanie Griffith. Peggy, who is best known for her role as Julie Barnes in the '60s crime drama The Mod Squad, is the mother of Rashida and her sister Kidada from a previous marriage to music producer Quincy Jones. Just last week, Rashida spent an equally memorable day with her dad as they visited the newly opened Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington DC; she shared photos from the exhibit, including a section dedicated to the legalization of interracial marriage, writing, "Thank you Richard Loving and Mildred Jeter for...

“I think it’s all about heart,” declared Ludacris, kicking off this week’s episode of Rising Star — and in the process, betraying a fundamental misunderstanding of why people enjoy reality-singing competitions. “America wants to know if you have heart!”
No, Luda, America wants to know if these contestants can sing in tune. (Spoiler alert: Most of them cannot!)

As we've mentioned before, James Van Der Beek is playing kind of a jerk version of himself in Don't Trust the Bitch in Apt. 23. That version of James is going on Dancing With the Stars and the real James got a wakeup call as to how tough it was. "I went in thinking I've always wanted to learn how to dance. I'm a pretty good athlete; I could figure this out. After about three or four dance classes, I thought I was looking good, so we recorded it on an iPhone. I watched it and I was absolutely mortified. I look like a jock trying to fumble his way through it. It was horrible. I realized I really had to step it up so many more hours of training followed until I got to the point where it was good enough for the jokes to work. It did not come easily.

Fox Scene from “Glee.”
In tonight’s “Extraordinary Merry Christmas,” “Glee” veered away from the technicolor extravaganza of its first Christmas special last year, to a black-and-white pastiche of plastic smiles, canned laughter and humdrum holiday songs. They threw in a dash of “Star Wars” paraphernalia and a bit of Judy Garland magic, but still it came out a jumbled mess.
This is an awkward proposition, to say the least. It’s the directorial debut of Matt Morrison, who plays show-choir master Will Schuester.

Regular readers of my 90210 recaps probably recall that at the end of of the second to last episode of Season 3, I stamped my foot up and down and declared that I was "Done! Done with 90210!" due to their shabby treatment of Teddy Montgomery (Trevor Donovan) and that there wouldn't be anymore 90210 recaps.
And I meant it too. Until this happened at the CBS party at the Television Critics Association press tour in July:
Well, what would you say? Actually, Trevor is one of the nicest actors I've had the pleasure of dealing with in Hollywood, so it was pretty easy to say "yes" even though it means actually watching five more episodes of 9021Zero.
Btw, I did a little investigating as to why The CW cut down Teddy's storyline so drastically. Here is the top secret info I uncovered.
Explains a lot, no? It also explains Teddy's upcoming storyline, which...

Heather Morris has revealed that Brittany will become a cheerleader again in the new season of Glee. Brittany, Santana (Naya Rivera) and Quinn (Dianna Agron) quit the cheerleading squad last season when Sue (Jane Lynch) threatened to fire Brittany out of a human cannon. I'm really stoked because it means I get to dance more." Morris also revealed that she is hoping to perform the Snap! track 'Rhythm Is a Dancer' on a future episode (more)...

This week's episode is positively Shakespearean.
Just like in all those Shakespeare comedies, everybody winds up wandering around the woods, acting all confused and silly and lusty, before several of them couple off. Sure Shakespeare typically ends with everybody married off, while this ends with certain couples getting off, but it basically amounts to the same thing.
All that's missing is a snarky fairy to observe all the action and declare, "What fools these mortals (and vampires) be." Wait, what am I saying? There is a snarky fairy around who is totally prepared to make just those sorts of observations … me.
Wtf these storylines be …

When it was announced that Megan Fox wouldn't be returning for the third installment of the "Transformers" franchise, many wondered who would be appealing enough to keep the predominantly young male fan base drooling.
Enter Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, the knockout Victoria's Secret model, who is not only stepping off the runway and onto the big screen for her acting debut, but is taking over as the female lead in the billion-dollar franchise, for "Transformers: Dark of the Moon." While we still don't know how her character Carly will stack up against Fox's Mikaela, Rosie has already joined the ranks of models who have made the transition to film.
As we anticipate the 24-year-old beauty's breakout role, we look back at five memorable model's performances on celluloid (hey, it's one of the few times we can actually use "model" and "celluloid" in the same sentence), the good, the bad, and the (coyote) ugly.

It can be tough in a media landscape inexplicably populated with self-declared Glee fanatics, but one celebrity has finally spoken out against the shrill TV juggernaut, and that brave man is Dave Grohl. During an interview at SXSW, Grohl spouted off to The Hollywood Reporter on the apparently intense pressure on bands to consent to the Glee-ification of their music: "It’s every band’s right, you shouldn’t have to do fucking Glee. And then the guy who created Glee is so offended that we’re not, like, begging to be on his fucking show… fuck that guy for thinking anybody and everybody should want to do Glee.” Snap! And just for anyone who was still confused about his feelings on show creator Ryan Murphy, Grohl continued: "The Glee guy, what a fucking jerk. [...]...

Pity the Hollywood writer who sets his or her movie or television series in the world of hair salons. If the show doesn't include any gay or bisexual characters, gay viewers are likely to cry foul and accuse him/her of not being gay-inclusive. But if a gay character is included and is nothing but the typical cliched hair stylist we've seen so many times before, the writers are just as likely to be criticized. And rightly so.
That's the dilemma faced by out writer Michael Patrick King of Sex and the City fame in his new NBC pilot A Mann's World. Starring Don Johnson as Allan Mann and Taylor Kinney as the young, hotshot sylist France, A Mann's World is about the "complicated life of Allan Mann, a celebrity hair stylist in glamorous Los Angeles."
