Ron Bass (who’s wrote both Rain Man and Entrapment, so there’s that) has written an Albert Einstein biopic, and the hit-or-miss Wayne Wang (Chan Is Missing, Last Holiday) will direct it. The project’s titled Einstein for now. Because, you know, it’s about the German mathematician.
Paul Schiff will produce the film for Hollywood Studios International while Hsi CEO Steven Saxton will executive produce, as will Eric Christenson, the Hsi Films President. Koldo Eguren of Hero Pictures is executive producing also, as well as Golan Ramras of Go Long Productions, who’s on as producer.

Artist International has acquired Sleeping Giant Entertainment and installed Giant owner and CEO Dave Brown as president of Artist's motion picture and TV lit departments.
Brown will fold his management firm into that of Artist International, a subsidiary of Hollywood Studios International, overseeing its current management clientele of screenwriters and television and film directors.
He will work with recent hires Eric Christenson, Hollywood Studios International's president of acquisitions and distribution, and Cfo Marcia Allen to develop a slate of client-generated projects that can be financed internally.

NEW DELHI -- Hollywood Studios International, based in Los Angeles and Dubai, and Mumbai-based Carving Dreams Entertainment on Tuesday announced a multipicture co-production deal that will see the companies producing films that feature Bollywood stars alongside Hollywood talent.
According to the terms of the two-year deal, the companies will co-produce at least five films with a total budget of $100 million.
HSI operates as a studio while also offering Artist Management services. The company's management includes such producers such as Steve Perry ("Sudden Impact", "Die Hard 2") and Andreas Klein ("Traffic").
Formed in 2005, Carving Dreams also operates as an Artist Management and production company, with such clients as Bollywood actors as Irrfan Khan, Ajay Devgan and Hrithik Roshan and actresses Bipasha Basu and Kajol.
"We are very pleased to be partnering with Carving Dreams for this exciting initiative," HSI CEO Steven Saxton said. "This association gives us the opportunity to not only create movies for global audiences but also build a bridge between Hollywood and Bollywood."

Additionally, Klein will maintain his U.S. executive suite in Doc Hollywood's offices in West Hollywood, and will also advise Saxton in the development and management of a new film finance gap fund that is currently being structured to finance a slate of films to be shot in the U.S. with budgets of under $20 million, designed to take advantage of recently established U.S. tax incentives.
