Idina Menzel is heading on the road this summer for her Take Me Or Leave Me concert tour and she’s promising a “vintage set.”
The Tony Award-winning singer and actress named the tour after her smash hit song from the 1996 Broadway musical Rent.
“Maureen was always uninhibited and extremely comfortable in who she was, maybe to the fault [laughs],” Idina told Billboard. “I’ve always loved that song and I miss that character, but I would say I’m naming the tour this from a different perspective. Obviously, many, many years later, it’s about who I am in this point in my life. I haven’t seen my fans in a long time, and I want to show them how I’ve changed, and how I haven’t. I want to show them my experiences and hopefully, they’ll love me no matter what.”

This left-field ghost story from Olivier Assayas is built around a pitch perfect performance from Kristen Stewart. Reteaming with the French director after Clouds Of Sils Maria, she plays clothes-buying gofer Maureen to insufferable A-lister Kyra (Nora Von Waltstätten), while also trying to come to terms with the death of her twin brother to a genetic condition she may share. Assayas maintains a cool and steady mood as Maureen begins encountering what she believes is the ghost of her brother. The writer/director employs that most commonplace of modern tools - the smartphone - as an unexpected conduit, while Stewart delivers a performance that takes you to the edge of your seat. Speaking after the Cannes premiere, Assayas said, "It's the closest I can get to a happy ending.

In the 1960s, Mick Jagger moved in several doors down from The Beatles’ Ringo Starr. Jagger and Starr were members of two of the biggest bands of the era. Naturally, both of their presences drew fans. This became a problem for Jagger. When he and his girlfriend were leaving the house, a fan of Starr’s rushed forward and attacked.
Ringo Starr’s fans caused problems for Mick Jagger and his girlfriend
In the mid-1960s, Rolling Stones fans discovered that Jagger and Keith Richards were living together in Hampstead, an area in London. The constant presence of fans and the long-term relationships of both Jagger and Richards led them to decide it was time to move.
After bouncing around for a while, Jagger moved into the home of composer Lionel Bart. He moved in with his girlfriend, Chrissie Shrimpton.

Lifetime streaming service is back with yet another mystery thriller, this time taking sibling rivalry to its extreme and presenting a convoluted plot in Stalked by My Stepsister, directed by John Burd and Logan Giese. The movie is tedious, to say the least, with the actors doing the best they can to deliver the plot. The story revolves around Madison, whose mom Laura marries a wealthy man, Kent Miller, meaning Madison gets herself a younger stepsister in Devon, who comes back from London after completing her high school. The film then focused on Devon’s devilish side as she gradually tries to execute her wicked plan. The potential motive behind her deeds keeps us engaged, but the jaded storyline is as predictable as they come.
Spoilers Ahead
Plot Synopsis: What Happens In The Film?

Yoko Ono’s constant presence in the studio began to wear on George Harrison, Paul McCartney, and Ringo Starr. Things grew so tense that, eventually, Harrison blew up over a digestive biscuit. The Beatles had always been protective of their food, and when he saw Ono eating his snack, he began screaming about her.
George Harrison began shouting about Yoko Ono in the studio
The Beatles were so protective over their food that they were not allowed to share snacks. Therefore, when Harrison noticed Ono eating his digestive biscuits, it became a problem.
“After a moment or two, [George] began staring bug-eyed out the control room window,” engineer Geoff Emerick wrote in his book Here, There and Everywhere: My Life Recording the Music of the Beatles. “Curious, I looked over his shoulder. Yoko had gotten out of bed and was slowly padding across the studio floor, finally coming to a stop at Harrison’s Leslie cabinet,...

Ringo Starr married his first wife, Maureen Starkey Tigrett (originally Cox) in 1965. They were married for 10 years. Here’s the story of how they met.
Ringo was engaged to another woman before Maureen
Before Ringo got together with Maureen, he actually got engaged to a woman named Geraldine. Though, they eventually decided to break off the engagement. When Starr was with Geraldine, he became aware of Maureen Cox, who was going out with the Rory Storm (the band Ringo was in at the time) guitarist Johnny “Guitar.” But because they were both with other people at the time, Starr didn’t make a point to speak to her.

Riseborough and Harry Melling play a couple who get off on violence in an oddball, over-saturated thriller with a surprise cameo from Demi Moore
A rocky-horror sexual awakening is promised in Amanda Kramer’s initially interesting but ultimately laborious queer reverie of 50s and 60s style, like a theatrical daydream as experienced by Anybodys, from West Side Story. The long dissolve fades and blue-lit nightclub scenes are amusingly Lynchian, as is the very stylish and all-too-brief cameo from Demi Moore as a mysterious and worldly neighbour called Maureen. But the film feels over-determined and self-satisfied.

Andrew V. McLaglan's 1963 film "McLintock!" is a loose Western adaptation of William Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew" (c. 1592), a problematic play to say the least. The story of Shakespeare's play involves a willful and bitter young woman named Kate who refuses to settle down and get married. This upsets Kate's younger sister Bianca, as she will not be permitted to marry until Kate is married. A man named Petruchio is hired to, as the title says, tame the shrew, transforming an outspoken and willful woman into a dutiful wife. By the end, he does. One can easily see the play's misogynist leanings. Critically speaking, one might be able to see a satire at play, however. Or perhaps it's merely sexist.
"McLintock!" is equally tetchy, with John Wayne playing the Petruchio role, and Maureen O'Hara playing Kate. The story was altered somewhat to explain that Kate and Petrucho, called G.

Did The Beatles hold back George Harrison? We’ll never know, but Bob Dylan said George would have been as big as any musician with or without the band. Still, being a Fab Four member had its perks, such as meeting models, actors, and other musicians. When he met Pattie Boyd, George needed only a week and four words to begin his relationship with the person who later became his wife.

By the time The Beatles broke up, the band had grown tired of working together, but Ringo Starr managed to avoid much of his bandmates’ irritation. Starr did not escape the infighting between the former band members, but he was rarely the target of frustration. Here are four instances that prove Starr was the most widely liked Beatle by his bandmates.
The Beatles | Bettmann/Contributor via Getty The Beatles sent Ringo Starr to make a request of Paul McCartney
In 1970, when The Beatles were still technically together, Paul McCartney planned to release his solo album ahead of Let It Be. The band didn’t think this would be good for their album, and they wanted McCartney to push back his release date. Knowing that this request wouldn’t go over well with McCartney, they sent Starr to ask him.
Huge congrats Sir Ringo! Sir Richard Starkey has a nice ring to it.

A decade together brought The Beatles more money than they could spend. They also made more than they seemed to know how to handle. The band received allowances but never carried cash on them. They weren’t sure how much money they were making, and one member of the band admitted he didn’t know what British currency looked like.

In 1967, The Beatles traveled to Wales by train, and the crush of fans at the station meant they had been separated from their assistants. This was a big problem for the band because their assistants held all their money. Untroubled, they still decided to go out to dinner and found themselves facing a rightfully frustrated server when the bill came.
