Snowpiercer — cancelled 11 months ago by TNT and in turn left without a home for its completed final season — will find new tracks for its farewell rotation, says cast member Mike O’Malley (who plays former brakeman Sam Roche).
Back in January, when TNT announced it would not air Snowpiercer‘s already-completed fourth and final season, Tomorrow Studios CEO/partner Marty Adelstein and president/partner Becky Clements said in a joint statement, “We love Snowpiercer and believe Season 4 completes a story with incredible talent that will entertain viewers while exploring issues of climate change and class warfare.”

Something became very clear during Ted Lasso’s Uncle’s Day celebration this week — and it wasn’t just the reveal that Roy Kent’s sister is, in fact, the doctor who treated Dr. Sharon after she was hit by a car in Season 2. (But while we’re on it: Great throwback!)
No, it was something thrilling, something profound, something so obvious I suspect even Roy’s niece, Phoebe, might have picked up on it as she counted her new Swear Jar donations: that Roy Kent and Jamie Tartt ought to get it together and, well, get together.

For as much as you’ll likely grow tired of hearing the term “game-changing” in the new season of The Masked Singer, you’ve gotta admit: The descriptor is factually accurate.
Because Season 5 of Fox’s really weird singing show will mess with its standard formula, via the wild card contestants we (kind of) meet (in silhouette) at the top of the premiere. Who are these rogue actors, who have the ability to switch up the competition (cough such as it is cough)? We… still don’t know. There are currently 500-plus scripted shows, so it’s impossible to sample everything. But way back in the 2000s — far simpler times! — what was my possible excuse for never having caught a single episode of Gilmore Girls?
There, I said it. (Though I’ve admitted it before, usually when Ausiello is on the other coast and out of earshot.) I have never seen Gilmore Girls. I don’t know Dean from… Jessie, is it? I know it’s set in Stars Hollow, and there’s a diner. Oh, and I once co-starred in an Ask Ausiello video with the Kelly Bishop.

Well, the one thing you can expect at this point is that there Will be a season 7, as a lot of people seemed to be worried that The Goldbergs would be given the ax at some point. Ryan Schwartz of TV Line, along with a few others, has confirmed that the show will be making another appearance. Even it’s spinoff, Schooled, is coming back for a season 2 it would seem. To a lot of people this is kind of surprising since The Goldbergs has been kind of an underwhelming show for a while and hasn’t really jumped out

Todd Grinnell had big shoes — or in this case, a big tool belt — to fill, taking on the role of Schneider on Netflix’s reimagining of Norman Lear’s long-running sitcom “One Day at a Time.” This role was made iconic by the late Pat Harrington Jr., who won the show’s only acting Emmy during its original nine-year run (Best Comedy Supporting Actor in 1984). A strong presence in the update’s first two seasons, Grinnell really came into his own during the current third season, proving himself to be a worthy successor to his Emmy-winning predecessor. As Ryan Schwartz (TVLine) writes, “In Season 2, Justina Machado was the undisputed Mvp. In Season 3, that honor goes to Grinnell.”
Grinnell’s Schneider is an entirely different character from Harrington’s blue-collar, wisecracking handyman. The new Schneider is a Canadian expat, hipster, trust-fund baby with a fondness for snow globes and goat yoga.

Rosie O’Donnell has a whopping dozen Emmy Awards crowding her mantle. Eleven of them are for her self-titled daytime talker while one was for her work in prime-time television. That latter win was almost two decades for producing the 1998 Tony Awards telecast, which she also hosted. She could be adding a lucky 13th trophy this year for her her acclaimed, scene-stealing turn on the comedy “Smilf.”
On the Showtime series, O’Donnell portrays Tutu, the formidable, plenty opinionated mother of Bridgette Bird (Frankie Shaw), a young woman navigating her way through life as a single mom in South Boston. Over the first season, Tutu grapples with mental health issues while trying to maintain a steady relationship with her daughter.
Of O’Donnell, Ryan Schwartz of TV Line said, “We’d be remiss if we didn’t call attention to O’Donnell, who delivers the performance of her career as Bridgette’s emotionally unstable mother.
