If you do one thing for America today, you should vote. But if you do two things for your country, you should vote, and then watch this exclusive behind-the-scenes video featuring the very handsome men of Last Resort. "Let's be honest, a uniform does great things for guys," producer Jean Higgins says in what is the truest statement ever stated in the history of the universe. In the featurette, we get to know Last Resort's Scott Speedman, Andre Braugher, Robert Patrick, Daniel Lissing and Sahr Ngaujah. And by "get to know," we mean watch footage of these beautiful guys wearing uniforms, posing shirtless and just generally looking gorgeous. You are welcome. Celebrate America by...

"The Social Network's" climb to Oscar victory was put to a halt by the Producers Guild, giving its much-coveted Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures to Tom Hooper's "The King's Speech!" (Full list of PGA Awards nominees and winners below)
Thus, making this one of the most unpredictable Oscars in recent years. Will the unclear antagonists and protagonists of "The Social Network" triumph over the "against all odds" story of "The King's Speech"?
Keep in mind that PGA has a better simulation of Oscar process (ten-picture slate, preferential ballot system) but still, taking the last ten years into account, PGA has matched only six out of the ten Best Picture Oscars.
In 2000, "Gladiator" won both Oscars and PGA, but 2001, PGA picked "Moulin Rouge!" but the Oscar went to "A Beautiful Mind."

In 2002, both Oscars and PGA chose "Chicago," and "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King...

Hollywoodnews.com: Nominees for the 22nd annual Producers Guild Awards were announced this morning, and if you have been paying even the slightest bit of attention during the awards race, you could guess the 10 titles picked for Best Picture, otherwise known as the Darryl F. Zanuck Producer of the Year Award.
Regular nominees like “The Social Network” and “The King’s Speech” led the list, paired alongside the likes of “127 Hours,” “Black Swan,” “Inception,” “The Fighter,” “The Kids Are All Right,” “The Town,” “Toy Story 3” and “True Grit.”
If there’s a big winner, it’s Ben Affleck’s “The Town,” which also found its way into the Top 10 nominated by the Broadcast Film Critics Association for their Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, which air Friday, Jan. 14. Does this mean it will make the cut when the Academy picks 10 later this year?

ABC has released some promo pics from Lost Season 6, but in keeping with the wishes of producer/writers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse the images depict absolutely nothing. In fact, the thirty-one pictures released so far feature only individual cast members against a mockingly bland slate grey background. It's almost as frustrating as that fade to white from the season 5 finale.
ABC has not said whether or not they will grant Lindelof & Cuse's wishes and not release so much as a single frame from the Lost season six premiere prior to the debut of the ultimate season on February 2nd (Groundhog's day, for you all you time-loop theorists). Fans are clamoring for just a taste of what Lost's sixth and final season has to offer, but this may be all you see until 'La X' begins to roll.

Get our your calendar and your magic markers and prepare for glory. ABC has announced today that they have set a date and time for the premiere of the final season of Lost, which as you know is probably the most anticipated season of television in the history of man. Right up there with "Who shot J.R.?" this final season will answer a thousand and one questions about one of the most popular dramas of this decade. And it all begins on February 2, 2010. On top of the premiere date, ABC has also announced on Thursday (Nov. 19) that Lost will be moving to a new night, airing on Tuesday nights at 9:00pm. The first episode will be preceded by an hour-long recap show (similar to last season), then there will be a 2-hour premiere from 9:00pm - 11:00pm. The first episode, entitled "Lax" will answer the questions left by the final episode of season...

Finally… we have a date. February 2nd will be the premiere of Lost's final season. Assuming there are no weeks off, and Lost's two hour finale is counted as two of the eighteen hours we will get, the series finale would air May 18th, 2010.
Sweeps season is April 29th to May 26. I would assume this means the rumored two-week hiatus will not happen since I'm sure ABC is expecting tons of stray Lost fans to tune in for the final reveals – but we'll have to wait on that to be sure.
Here is the official word from ABC:
ABC announces the premiere of the sixth and final season of “Lost,” with a special all-night event on Tuesday, February 2. A recap special will kick off the night from 8:00-9:00 p.m., Et, followed by the much anticipated two-hour premiere from 9:00-11:00 p.m.
